We had a small group come up to Nathan's ranch for my sister's birthday, and we rented out two of the glamping sites. We had so much fun, and it was awesome being away from the city with such amazing views. Seriously, the mountains were insane, and I don't think I've ever seen the Milky Way so clearly. Nathan was lovely, as are the animals—everyone should do the petting zoo. Definitely bring your earplugs if you're in Pink Pony #1 (the rooster is an early riser!) We'll be back for sure :)

We had such a great stay at Harmony’s Glamping! It’s incredible that you can feel completely tucked away in nature while being just 20 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. The property is beautiful — surrounded by trees, with a creek running alongside the sites — and the yurts (we stayed in the Luxury Yurt + Creekside Fairy Dome) struck a perfect balance between comfort and adventure.
Harmony was an excellent host and made sure we felt well-prepared before arriving, especially with helpful notes about the drive in and things to bring. Definitely make sure you bring pots/pan and foil for cooking, and headlamps for light. Harmony had alot of the other essentials there for us such was, silverware, soap, sponge, shampoo, lighter, instant coffee, and paper towels.
This spot is ideal for anyone looking for an easy, nature-filled getaway without going too far off the grid. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about when we could come back!

3 nights at Harmony's Glamping
Harmony was very accommodating and even allowed for an upgrade to a different site. The drive down to the site is a little sketchy, but well worth it. We had the entire site to ourselves and was one of our best experiences camping/glamping ever. The dip in the water was refreshing and the nights were peaceful. We didn’t make it to the waterfall because of small dogs, but it didn’t bring our experience down. The ping pong and freezbie golf was a high light as well.

I love this place! So cute, close to town, and just what we needed for a party of 4! Basic accommodations with a clean community bathroom. This would be a wonderful place for an event. The camp hosts are very nice and accommodating:)

We were only able to stay 1 night but it was truly an amazing experience. Sierra and Darin have built an amazing space on such a beautiful property of land. From the first second we met them, they were very welcoming. They made us feel like we were home. Their hard work in the whole space shows. We brought our Australian Shepherd with us, who didn’t want to leave. We are 11/10 coming back, hopefully for more than just one night. I recommend for anybody that wants/needs to be surrounded by nature and good people.

Weekend Trip to Harmony's Glamping
My wife and I had an amazing time at Harmony's. It was so peaceful, relaxing and fun. Our area was clean and equipped with nice touches that made the stay more enjoyable. Our site felt very private and the community area was fun to hang out in and play games or just relax.

Gosh, this is such a serene and lovely place. The location-- along a running creek with steelhead trout, lush trees and ample swimming holes-- feels magical given it's set in the midst of a much dryer and arid landscape. I will certainly return.

1 night at Harmony's Glamping
We absolutely LOVED our experience here! The road down is an adventure in itself and we couldn't believe the oasis that is Harmony's land! The hermit dome was so cute and cozy! Watching the stars as we fell asleep and waking up to birds chirping was such a relaxing experience. The hike to the waterfall is a must do and a fun challenge. Make sure you are good at identifying poison oak! They graciously have poison oak wash at the site which was so appreciated. Will def be back!

This is one of the coolest and most special camping spots we have ever stayed at! It’s the perfect combo of adventure and gorgeous nature with some really nice and thoughtful amenities! The flowing water is so refreshing and the group area has so many little gems and activities. We did the hike to the waterfall and it was a challenge with some risk and poison oak but the perfect adventure to really feel accomplished by the time you get to the stunning waterfall! We will be back for sure! Highly recommend!

We stayed in the yurt and we absolutely loved it! The campground itself had plenty of things to do for all ages. The waterfall trail is a must! Harmony and her boyfriend were super helpful and even sent us a recommended packing list. This along with the maps, pdf guide & equipped campsite made the trip so much more easy to plan and relaxing. We booked during the week, lucked out and got to enjoy the entire campsite to ourselves! We will definitely be coming back but with friends this time. Thank you Harmony & team for this amazing campground!

Camp Arroyo Grande provided a wonderful experience for our family. We stayed in the Rooster Mason cabin, which, while not having an in-cabin bathroom, was located just steps away from the restroom facilities. The convenience made it feel no different than walking down a hallway at home. The pool was well-maintained, safely chlorinated, and stocked with beach balls and a basketball hoop that added to the fun of the afternoon. The grounds themselves are beautiful, with plenty of space to explore and endless opportunities for great photos. Our cabin offered plenty of room, with clean and comfortable beds that suited our needs perfectly. Overall, Camp Arroyo Grande is an affordable and enjoyable place for families, and we would happily return.

We loved our time here! My husband and I brought our 2 dogs and 7 month old baby and everyone had a blast! We hiked to the waterfall and it was even more gorgeous than the pictures. Worth the moderate hike in and out of the creek, and rock hopping. We went prepared with water shoes and were baby wearing, which made it easier & we just took our time and it was no problem at all. The amenities were awesome, & Harmony was helpful and responsive when we needed to reach out.

Where to go
California's Central Coast
The stretch of coastline between Ventura County and Monterey Bay offers some of the most fantastic scenery in the state, if not the country. Here you'll find sandy beaches, windswept rocky cliffs, and tons of little beach towns, plus miles of beach-facing and inland hiking trails.
The Santa Ynez Valley
If you're up for a bit of wine tasting, the Santa Ynez Valley won't disappoint. This area—located between the Santa Ynez and San Rafael mountains—is full of vineyards and tasting rooms, with the largest concentrations found in towns such as Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, and Solvang.
Ventura County
South of Santa Maria, Ventura County offers many public beaches—many of which have tent and RV sites. The county also encompasses the Channel Islands, five of which are protected as part of the Channel Islands National Park. Ventura County also features plenty of inland spots to visit, from the new-age town of Ojai to the rugged Simi Valley.
When to go
Santa Maria offers good camping weather year-round, with mild winters and hot summers. Temperatures are highest from June through September, but if you plan to spend much time at nearby beaches during this period, expect some summer crowds. If visiting in winter or early spring, it’s wise to be prepared for rain. Those who like strawberries should come in spring, when the annual berry harvest is celebrated with the Santa Maria Strawberry Festival.
