Less them 3 hours from Los Angeles, this private property is 2 acres of the secluded desert for you to enjoy! Just outside California City, there are miles of roads for the off-road enthusiast and some of the best stargazing in California. (As the Mayor once said, you can see more stars in California City then you could in Los Angeles). There is also great rockhounding and hiking opportunities! Campers can set up camp anywhere on the property but we also have an area cleared off for tent or car camping. There is also a firepit - enjoy and have a huge bon fire!
Fires are allowed but must be completely put out, and campers must bring all their own supplies. All off-roading must get permit before hand - contact host for details.

The whole trip, starting from the comms from the host, directions to the site as well as the state of the site was amazing. We had such a great time being out in the vast desert and the night views were incredible!

The site was a perfect place to watch the stars. Would definitely recommend showing up before dark so that you can find the blue painted items.

I wasn’t able to stay overnight because the winds were too high on the day I went, but I’m looking forward to booking this site again in the near future. It was a little challenging to find just because the site itself is set back away from the dirt roads, I’d recommend possibly for the hosts to install some sort of flag or maybe small sign at the entrance from the road where to turn in. Other than that, I’m in love with that area as it’s very secluded and I didn’t come across a single other soul while I was out there. I love the privacy. Hosts were great and very accommodating!
