Weekend Trip to Bombay Beach
There are so many reasons why The Nest is a great place to stay!
The decor is awesome so it’s just a nice space to relax and enjoy.
The location is amazing - right next to the beach and The Institute (museum and events).
Because of the large egg on the roof (that is lighted at night) this place is always easy to find.
Tao is a great host and I would stay on any of his properties!

Gerry was a great host! We got a huge parking different plenty of room to hang outside. He was very generous and even blew up his bounce house so my son could play in it. He also let me use his printer! This spot is about 15 minutes from the Mexacali East border crossing making it a great option on the way down to Baja. Would highly recommend!

This was our second stay at Coachella Lakes. The spaces are huge and the park is beautiful. Great amenities including an 18-hole putting course, pool and spa, pickleball courts, playground, dog park clubhouse and game room, and lots of open space. The grounds are clean and well-maintained. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. This is by far one of my favorite places to stay. We live an hour from the park, which makes this an easy choice for a weekend getaway!

The host, Jerry, was such a gracious host and our stay was perfect. He welcomed us as we drove up and was so warm and generous the entire time we were there, sharing tacos and stories with us like old friends. The grounds were nice, flat and safe, and with farm animals to include a cute pug named Ceasar. I’d definitely recommend staying here. It was the perfect launching point for our trip to Baja.

Place is brand new, everything nice and clean. Fun mini golf course and nice gym. Probably a bit more freeway noise than I would like but very convenient to be so close. We only stayed one night so we did not make use of the clubhouse and pool. Would stay again if the opportunity arose.
