The master bathroom adjoins the bedroom and has a skylight over the double length tiled shower. A second bedroom downstairs has a murphy bed with a queen size mattress. There is air conditioning in the living room as well as in the upstairs bedroom and 2 fans are provided-- although generally temps are not above 85 degrees on a hot day and generally drop into the 60's in the evening. Upper and lower decks offer lovely views of Mt. Pinos and the San Emigdio range. Relax on the sunny decks or in the Adirondack chair near the pond surrounded by pine trees. Plan to do some bbqing--it is so pleasant to do some grilling on the upper deck bbq and dine outdoors. Our cabin is clean and well-kept. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people. This gambrel cabin was one of the original homes built in PMC in 1976. The 70s vibe is still alive with cork floors, shag rugs, wood paneling, record players, an 8-track player & an orange Malm fireplace. The space Our 1970s chalet-style gambrel cabin is located at an altitude of 5500 feet above sea level. Both bedrooms are equipped with organic latex mattresses (queen downstairs, full upstairs) and ROKU smart TVs. There is also a TV with basic cable, a VHS player, and classic video games in the living room downstairs. Upstairs we have a projector for watching movies on a big screen. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, oven/stove, Nespresso machine with milk frother, blender, waffle maker and fondue pot. We have board games, puzzles, records, 8-track cassettes, VHS tapes, a projector (for VHS or streaming movies), a guitar, keyboard, and a working fireplace. Towels and linens are provided. The washer and dryer cannot be used by guests, but there is a laundromat in the village and another in Frazier Park. Keep in mind this is not a hotel, this is a privately owned cabin in the middle of a National Forest. The water may take a little longer to heat up, the electric heaters might smell a little dusty the first time they are turned on after a long summer, spiders might rebuild their webs less than 24 hours after the space is cleaned, there may be dirt on the outdoor furniture, you might need to wear insect repellant in the summer or shovel the driveway and deck in the winter. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not it, but if you want a fun, comfortable getaway in the mountains, please submit a booking inquiry. You are expected to complete a checkout checklist which includes washing your dishes and putting them away where you found them, making sure all wall heaters are off, etc. Guest access You'll be in walking distance of the PMC Clubhouse which houses a restaurant, bar, recreation room, community swimming pool and hot tub (SUMMER ONLY), tennis courts, and a golf course. If you'd like to use the pool, please send names of all guests so I can register you in advance. There is a fee of $5 per person, per day, for the temporary pool passes to be paid at the pro shop on pickup. We're also close to hiking trails and the village where you'll find the Pine Mountain General Store, Bear Claw Bakery, The Perch, gift shops, and more. During the WINTER months, there is a chance of snow and/or ice on the roads. You will need 4WD/AWD or tire chains on hand. The CA Highway Patrol is often checking cars before allowing access. You may also need to show confirmation of your reservation. We have a snow shovel on the deck in case you need to shovel the driveway or deck. Parking on the street is not allowed. We've had several guests say they grew up on the East coast and know how to drive in snow, only to comment about the curvy, icy road into the forest which is no joke! Even if you are prepared, someone in front of you might not be, so have warm clothes or blankets in the car, a full tank of gas, and some snacks in case you get stuck. Other things to note There is an outdoor security camera on the property. The cabin is not in the middle of nowhere, we have neighbors on all sides. Please be respectful. The wi-fi is pretty reliable but as we are in a rural area, it can be slow and it does go out from time to time. If you absolutely must have internet access guaranteed, this may not be the place for you. No shoes in the house Rules The two overriding rules are 1) Leave the home the way you found it and 2) Respect the privacy and quiet of our neighbors. - NO SHOES IN THE HOUSE - Please do not rearrange the furniture. Use coasters on wood surfaces! Be gentle with everything - most items are vintage. - Basic cleaning up after yourself is expected, including washing your dishes and putting them away. - Trash and recycling must be taken to the transfer site when you check out. - We provide a checkout checklist so you remember to turn all heaters off, lock doors and windows, etc. - Commercial photography/filming is not allowed without permission. Please send details in advance and we will get back to you with the rates for your project. - No outdoor fires of any kind - Quiet hours in PMC are 10pm - 7am - Smoking allowed outside ONLY. Please keep doors and windows closed. If the house smells of smoke after you leave you will lose your deposit to cover the cost of odor removal. Dispose of butts properly - not on the ground. - Pets are not allowed. We had to change our policy after a bad experience. - This is a forest, and bears (and other wildlife) are frequently sighted. No food or trash should be left outside the cabin unattended. All doors and windows need to be closed if you're not in the room. There is an air horn in the downstairs bedroom closet, and whistles near the sliding glass door. If you see a bear, make a lot of noise to scare it away. - Missing items will be deducted from your deposit plus a $50 service fee per item. - NO fireworks or guns of any kind (including BB and paintball) - No parking on the street. If you have a RV please contact me in advance to discuss options. - Any additional guests beyond the number stated in your reservation must be approved in advance. - Your name and contact information will be shared with the Pine Mountain Club Property Owner's Association, in case of emergency or neighbor complaints. - You must provide your email address in advance of your stay. Weekend Trip to The White Lodge

We loved our stay in the Tinned Ham Camper! The property itself was amazing with kitschy and fun decor, beautiful views, friendly hosts, and adorable cats. My favorite part of our stay was the hot tub just a couple steps from our door. We also loved that even though we’re in the middle of Eagle Rock it felt like we traveled to somewhere secluded and romantic. I can’t wait to return here!

Everything from the bathroom decor and the interior of the teardrop trailer, to the small details around the yard that made the experience live up to its name. The hosts hospitality and responsiveness to our delays in arrival was very earnest and friendly, and their service was overall wonderful. Very cozy, very pampering, amazing hot tub. We didn’t get to use the beautiful pool with waterslide and grotto. And I haven’t even mentioned the great view, the awesome cave shower and the many kitties roaming around. A perfect getaway. Weekend Trip to Harmony's Glamping

We had such a great stay at Harmony’s Glamping! It’s incredible that you can feel completely tucked away in nature while being just 20 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. The property is beautiful — surrounded by trees, with a creek running alongside the sites — and the yurts (we stayed in the Luxury Yurt + Creekside Fairy Dome) struck a perfect balance between comfort and adventure. Harmony was an excellent host and made sure we felt well-prepared before arriving, especially with helpful notes about the drive in and things to bring. Definitely make sure you bring pots/pan and foil for cooking, and headlamps for light. Harmony had alot of the other essentials there for us such was, silverware, soap, sponge, shampoo, lighter, instant coffee, and paper towels. This spot is ideal for anyone looking for an easy, nature-filled getaway without going too far off the grid. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about when we could come back!

1 night at The White Lodge

This spot is absolutely amazing. It's super hidden but only two minutes from the city and anything you may need, that said it feels like a world away. The property, pool and everything else were great. There is so much cool hidden art to discover and the retro decor is awesome. Morgan and Brooke were super nice and helpful giving us a tour and we had everything we needed for the night. The camper was super comfy with warm bedding and it is literally one step to your private hot tub. Some reviews mentioned tight spaces, and it is a small camper but I'm 6'2 and big guy and me and girlfriend fit totally fine and the bed was more than big enough. I can't say enough good things about this spot! I would just make you you bring what you need. We had takeout delivered and brought our own drinkware. A small mini fridge was provided which was perfect for us, but they have a giant outdoor kitchen you can add on if you need more than that! Can't wait to come back to stay, and to rent the pool in the summer! Awesome cute cats too!

Harmony was very accommodating and even allowed for an upgrade to a different site. The drive down to the site is a little sketchy, but well worth it. We had the entire site to ourselves and was one of our best experiences camping/glamping ever. The dip in the water was refreshing and the nights were peaceful. We didn’t make it to the waterfall because of small dogs, but it didn’t bring our experience down. The ping pong and freezbie golf was a high light as well.

As soon as you step foot on the property you feel like you’ve left the hustle and bustle of LA, the outdoor space has a 60’s Yosemite National Park vibe. The decor is adorable with lots of fun things to discover. Everything is perfectly laid out, great landscaping with ambient lighting at night, paths to multiple sitting locations and a cute little smoking area. The bathroom is a short walk from trailer. Plenty of nice clean towels! The pool is beautiful with a cool little grotto sitting area, water slide with water fall. Cave shower that was a fun experience. Morgan and Brooke created something special with this place. They were both kind and helpful with questions. Morgan is a fascinating guy and he even invited us to his dj gig which we loved. They have an amazing catio for their sweet cats. The camper is adorable! The mattress was very comfortable, we slept well! Loved watching the funny horror movies streaming on Night Flight! There’s cozy extra blankets, gorgeous wood interior, adorable dining area. Lots of storage space for our carry ons and supplies. Many windows, a fan for air flow, kept things cool. Outside the camper Morgan set up a refrigerated cooler. The hot tub is perfect for two people with a lovely view. It was so relaxing and had a secluded feel to the space. Loved it! There’s a trashcan next to the camper, ample recycling & trash cans throughout the property. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, parked car close to the property with street parking.

It was my first time Glamping. And boy was this an amazing spot and experience. Shirley and Matt are so nice and attentive. We had everything we could need. They even had extra blanket and towels. I couldn't believe how large the tent was and it also had an island on the side where we could make coffee (which they were kind enough to provide) and prepare food on. Weekend Trip to Canvas Under the Oaks

Great location tucked in the hills above Santa Barbara. Pretty close to both downtown and Goleta, about 15 minutes from site. The glampsite itself was extremely cozy and running shower with hot and cold water in the shack next door with an accompanying toilet. Little sink right one the outside for all bathroom sink needs and doubles as dish washing sink. Right next to that is the freshwater spring tap which might have been my favorite feature. Tasted so clean, better than any water you could buy in a store. The tent was very clean and tidy, a few bugs here and there but that’s nature for ya. Bed was very comfy and comfortable, and rest of tent area was reasonably spacious. Refrigerator was a lifesaver, as was the fan with the temperature reaching high 80s while we were there. Some cookware is provided, but did not use it as we got sandwiches in town to bring back for dinner. Deck right out front of the tent was awesome, set some chairs up and looked straight out into the foresty area and felt like we were in a tree house. Did have service up there surprisingly, but WiFi provided as well. Very satisfied with our experience and will be coming back.

This spot is incredible. Truly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my life, and it's 15 minutes from the City's swirl. Saskia and Fallon have made this such a soulful special haven -- the stone cabin is something out of a different era, the decor is so spirited, and the Canyon itself is literally jaw dropping. You'll be blown away and you won't want to leave! So many thanks for the hospitality and the chance to get away from it all ❤️🙏🎶

We stayed in the yurt and we absolutely loved it! The campground itself had plenty of things to do for all ages. The waterfall trail is a must! Harmony and her boyfriend were super helpful and even sent us a recommended packing list. This along with the maps, pdf guide & equipped campsite made the trip so much more easy to plan and relaxing. We booked during the week, lucked out and got to enjoy the entire campsite to ourselves! We will definitely be coming back but with friends this time. When I tell you hands down this was THE trip of the summer, I mean it! Lisa is incredibly kind, and her campsite gave everything it was supposed too! She is such a PHENOMENAL person, with a beautiful heart and spirit! My son and I had a blast, and her recommendation for the Sunday Brunch spot exceeded expectations! We had a wonderful family getaway in Debra’s cabin! This home was clean and comfortable, and well equipped for a relaxing weekend. We particularly enjoyed the large board game collection. The deck has amazing views and great spots to relax and enjoy a book. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful place to enjoy quality family time. Debra was easily reachable and provided helpful tips, recommendations, and other information about the area. We would love to come back someday!

The whole property is fantastic. We stayed in the yurt and pretty much had the entire camp to ourselves. One thing to note: bring some extra light with you. Harmony stocks the place with lanterns, and there are solar-powered string lights, but the location limits their charge somewhat, and their run time is a bit short.

Weekend Trip to Canvas Under the Oaks

The tent was amazing, lots of space and everything was super clean. The nature was marvelous with stunning hikes nearby. There was everything needed to cook and clean. The outdoor toilets and showers were amazing, the hot water with the cold nights were so relaxing. When we arrived, the host gave us a full tour of how to use all the amenities and answered all our questions about nearby hikes and places to go to. I would definitely return and recommend others to as well for a getaway weekend to the mountains. I only have good things to say.
