We do offer horse back rides, cattle penning, cattle drives and shooting at our shooting range. You have to call reservations to book any of these activities. Tranqvillium was purchased in 2016 with the intention of creating Gaia Earthen Technologies Sustainable Living Educational and Research Center. Construction started in 2016 and now we have our first temporary building and working on the others. The daily operation is run by Tranqvillium, an intentional community of people who don't like to spend their money on rent and utility bills.Learn more about this land:The location is about an hour west of Las Vegas in the California Mojave Desert. Even though the lights of Vegas are visible on the Eastern horizon, above Tranqvillium there is no light pollution and the entirety of the visible part of the Milky Way is shining down on us. Tecopa Hot Springs is 30 min West from us, along with China Ranch date farm. From China ranch it's a 40 min hike through Mars like terrain to a swimming hole complete with a small waterfall, where the Amargosa River comes above ground. The ancient lake bed where Tranqvillium is located is surrounded by medium height mountains, which are perfect for rock scrambling, and the world famous Red Rock climbing site is nearby too. The place is very rugged and is recommended for experienced campers who are not taken aback by wilderness living.

Weekend Trip to Sandy Valley Ranch

We enjoyed our stay and we can't wait to go back! It was so peaceful and it was so nice to get away from the city. Loved being able to walk around and see all the ranch animals! It was the perfect getaway. The camper is charming and cozy. It got a little warm during the day but it wasn't unbearable. They have a mini swamp fan. There are plugins for a fan if you wanted to bring one. We cooked breakfast in the morning and made smores in the campfire at night. We brought our portable hammock/ w stand to star gaze. They do have meals and other activities available. We plan to do it all next time and hopefully stay a bit longer. We stayed one night and even though it was short I would do it again! We will keep an eye on events so so we can drive down and enjoy from time time to time. Thank you for everything. Would recommend SVR!

This place to park and rest in Newberry Springs, CA, has a beautiful view, beautiful sunrises and sets, friendly, helpful host. Water and electricity available but we didn’t need either. Thank you, Matt, for the quiet respite!

Weekend Trip to Holistic Happiness

We had a great overnight stay. Our host was a great communicator and extremely accommodating, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The site was absolutely perfect for a quick overnight stop – level ground made setup easy, and the bonus mountain view was a beautiful surprise. The location is conveniently close to the highway, which made access super easy for our travel trailer. Plus, our host had fresh chicken and duck eggs available – the best! We love fresh eggs, and these did not disappoint. We had no issues at all during our stay and got a great night’s sleep before heading out on the next leg of our trip. Highly recommend for anyone passing through that needs a no frills stop!

Everything went extremely well. Check-in was smooth, we were greeted by a cowboy which was cool. He was very nice as you'd imagine. We admired the horses in the afternoon, and the sunset at night was really nice. The stars were bright and the firepit was great! Airstream was clean, bathroom was easy to use. Loved the vibes all together. 10/10
