Master has a queen bed, while the 2nd bedroom has 4 twin bunk beds. We also have a firepit! Been coming to this magical part of the San bernardino mountains since I was a little girl. I learned to ski here when there was an old ski hill and tow ropes! Lots of mountain trails to hit right out the front door! My Father and Grandfather both spent time here and nothing has changed! It is single story with all open beam ceilings, wood floors throughout and hiking right out the door to miles and miles of trails! Stunning sunsets, a cute town with lots of live music quaint coffee shop. Explore snow shoeing, San epic sled hill, stargazing, off roading, hiking, kayaking, fishing, cross country skiiing, and our local downloading and skiiing mountains! 🏔️ You will fall in Love with Green Valley Lake!

Even though Deep Creek has never had any known cases of amoeba outbreaks, be advised that the warm waters around hot springs can carry a sometimes fatal amoeba.
*Although children are permitted at most sites on the property (children are not permitted at the cabin or spring pool sites), we do not recommend bringing them due to occasional nudity that may be seen in the area and the degree of difficulty for the hike. This place is really incredible, the photos are accurate, it’s tucked away enough that it feels very private, and still convenient if you wanted to head out for dinner. Beautiful facility, you don’t need to be self contained, because everything is there from the amazing outside shower, restroom area, outdoor kitchen, and awesome patio. And having a secure area for my dogs was perfect
I was planning to tent camp, but was offered the use of a teardrop trailer to sleep in. The fire on the patio under the stars was just what I needed to relax. I’ll definitely be back again.

Had a great visit this past weekend! Friendly staff was there at check-in who gave me the run down of the campsite. The hike to the springs is a must! Make sure you go early so that you have plenty of time to spend in the water.

Weekend Trip to The Engels Nest Cozy Cabin
The cabin is so cute and easy to find/access! It was less than a 5 minute drive from the lake and there were lots of trails nearby. The trails were a bit tricky to navigate with little signage so we didn't venture too far but the views were still great. I would recommend bringing essentials (shampoo, body wash, coffee) but the cabin had pots, pans, toaster, dishes, etc. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing slow paced weekend away!

I loved my time at deep creek it was a great hike and there is a rec tent with activities in the evening. A hit tub a sauna and a pool table. It was a wonderful experience. I look forward to coming back and checking out their glamping tents.

We had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful cabin, was very hard to leave!
Really did feel like home, so cozy and comfortable.
Just a few minutes from some very special spots, such as inspiration point where you can witness a truly spectacular sunset, also the very cool Black Dog Social Club, had a lovely time listening to live music there, sipping on a beer overlooking the lake… just perfect. Thank you to Jodi and family for opening up this unique and beautiful home, we’ll be back!

Such a remote and beautiful spot. The winter air so crisp and clean, the hike absolutely gorgeous and the campsites clean and simple! The canyon where the hot springs are is stunning and rugged. The hosts were friendly and informative. We felt safe and relaxed. Would go again in a heartbeat—but probably not in the summer! Loved it

There are many good, flat places to set up camp. Each site has a picnic bench and a fire pit. Bathrooms are ok. Bring your own toilet paper. Get to the site early to pick a site. The place filled up in the afternoon and people were driving around looking for places to set up. You can purchase firewood on site. The hike to the hot springs and back was good. The way there is down hill and it’s pretty steep coming back up. The hot springs were packed with families and dogs and lots of naked men. You need to cross a cold stream to get to the hot springs. I wasn’t impressed with the hot springs. Definitely not relaxing or peaceful. But the camp site was exactly what I was looking for.
