Welcome! We want to note on the front hand that if you decide to stay with us you will be staying in a pasture behind a gate. This is especially important if you are tent camping, because your things will be safe while you explore Hot Springs and surrounding areas unlike a State Park or regular campground! Our land is home to a plethora of animals that you can visit with or just watch during your stay. Depending on the time of year and where we are at in our pasture rotation will dictate where the horses and most of the cattle herd are at. If you message me I can let you know! Our goats and a couple of our cows are at the end of the road on the right! The animals you can see are our cattle (most of their names are on their ear tags), horses, goats (working on getting collars with names, Pickles the mini donkey (he’s with the cows), and chickens (when they go out to free range). We also have a stocked pond that you can bring your fishing gear and fish! There are bass, catfish and bream! If you want to love on a cow then Pepper the Holstein is your girl! She is at the end of our road to the right with our other very sweet mini jersey Penelope! Pepper knows her name and will come to the fence to talk to you! The horses names are Vivian and Bonnie and they sometimes stay in the pasture with our campers, but they are at a different pasture for now! Vivian is the larger of the two white horses and she loves attention. Bonnie is also white, but she is a bit smaller. She is Viv's sister! There is also always the opportunity to see several species of wildlife while here! Part of our land is cleared for pasture and the rest is undisturbed forest. Two different creeks and hundreds of cedars adorn the land, hence the name "Cedar Creek Farms." Come enjoy the sounds of Ouachita Mountain nature and farm life with us!

Mark's land is excellent, and Mark was an incredibly supportive host when I landed there with a broken down vehicle. He gave me a ride into town and gave me ice from his personal freezer for my cooler. I love the communal area on the property - I made some friends the first night. The lighting at night and the pond are wonderful, and the bathroom is well-stocked and well-kept. Every time I needed something, Mark was very responsive. The bird sounds in the morning are absolutely wonderful, and I enjoyed wandering around the property <3

What a breath of fresh air this family + space was! Got to meet animals as well right away and feed some goodies to the goaties, with an affectionate hello from their pup, mocha. They’ve been evolving & expanding so I got tucked amongst the top of the property where it was level and had a peaceful, starry night. Great, wholesome chats..excellent value system, and a basic level spot for me to park overnight on my cross-country trip. Kindness like this is another form of fuel.

11/10. I loved my stay here. The hosts were amazing. Just genuine, kind people. I’m not much of a people person, but I can honestly say I enjoyed every conversation I had with them. Jen even helped me when I got a flat tire. I felt safe at all times which is huge as a solo traveler. The land itself is beautiful. Tons of animals. The sky at night is so clear and you can see all the stars. It’s only an hour drive from Hot Springs National Park which is super cool. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Amanda was detailed and helpful in providing arrival instructions and welcomed us in the evening with her family after we found a place to pull our van and set up camp. They were accommodating for a last minute stay. We found wood around the cow field and had a wonderful fire. Beautiful to wake up with the sunrise and see the beauty around us. So many animals to see! Unfortunately we had to leave but Amanda offered to show us around. Would come back! Thank you!!!!
