Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for $20 a night. The resort is next to Empire Park which has lots of fishing spots, a playground, a disc golf course, and walking trails. The resort is 16 miles from The Branson Landing. You can get there by car or boat. Ask me about adding a boat slip to your reservation or about getting a discount for a long-term stay. This river is fishable with flat bottom jet drive boats most of the spring and early summer and floatable year round. You can float to your campsite and relax instead of waiting in line at the boat ramp. Also we are located about 13 miles from Crane Creek, A blue ribbon trout park. You can camp here and fish there.

The site is very private and peaceful in the river-backwoods, where wildlife abounds. It will be your option whether to keep the gates open or closed during your stay. Please keep in mind the site is just off a county-maintained gravel/dust road. During the dry season, the road dust could affect certain persons with breathing issues. Also, there is, a very high concentration of Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds flying about. About a mile east of the double gates, is beautiful Red Bluff Overlook, Sand Hole river-access, and further down these many dirt-roads that parallel along the river, you can get to the North Maumee access point of the Buffalo National River. Hiking trails are found at Gilbert and Tyler Bend, intersecting with other trails that lead beyond and along the river. Swimming holes can be found at:; Gilbert gravel bar 2.5 miles, Grinder’s Ferry 7.7 miles, Shine Eye 7.8 miles, Tyler Bend 11 miles, Baker Ford 11 miles, and - 4WD or AWD vehicles are HIGHLY recommended to get to the river-swim-float accesses.. Both the stove and refrigerator are full size, there is also a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and the kitchen table seats six. Bed linens, towels, pillows and blankets are supplied. The bath is a tub and shower combination. There is a charcoal grill in the yard, but please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Enjoy our screened deck, covered picnic area, and outdoor fire pit and there is ample level parking for vehicles, canoes, and other outdoor gear. We offer Satellite TV. The cottage is air conditioned for your comfort, and gas heat assures comfort year round.

Weekend Trip to Riverdream Camps

This was our second stay at Riverdream, and we love it! Beautiful sky without light pollution, no noise from traffic or what I guess you'd call "city life." My husband & I stayed in a tent both trips, and we were comfortable in each site. Toilet/showers are extremely clean and always stocked. Water flow and temperature is great. Kings River is a short mosey away from camp. Berryville on one side, Eureka Springs on the other. The Hosts have always been kind and quick to assist when we needed it. Their land is perfect for a quick weekend getaway, or a lengthy stay. (You won't regret either one.)

Valley of peace was a perfect place to unplug for the weekend! The host was very helpful and kind. He stopped by each day to see if we needed anything. He had plenty of fire wood to purchase. He has a beautiful piece of land and we enjoyed saying hi to the farm dogs! We got to hook up to the WiFi once but don’t depend on it for the whole time it’s a little spotty. I’d definitely download an offline map.

We had a wonderful stay at Enchantment Ozark Fairy Tale camp. The property is remote while only being a short distance from town. The sites are well spaced so even if you have neighbors you still have plenty of privacy. Mizzy was very friendly and helpful with check in and answering any questions we had. She brought a rake to clear up all the walnuts that had fallen from the tree so we would have a flat and smooth spot for our tent. She also brought us a trash can to use. The best part was how quiet and peaceful the whole area was. She is blessed to own such a beautiful piece of property and we're thankful that she shares it with campers like us. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

It was a great spot with small falls nearby for sound, because what better way to sleep. There was a meteor shower the night we were there and it was spectacular for views of the sky! We were able to order firewood and have it at our campsite upon arrival. The host was also kind enough to bring us a table as well. No complaints and would definitely recommend

Weekend Trip to Open-air Meditation Sanctuary

Perfect place to watch the sunset and view a starry sky. Plenty of firewood for the fire pits due to the generous and kind stewards of this amazing space. It's relatively quiet, even with other guests dotted around nearby. The privacy of landscape and bamboo thatch is thoughtfully done and makes you feel safely secluded . They really understand community living and the conscientiousness shows even with their hot tub setup. I would say that it's trauma-conscious because the guest instructions show intention they built in lights and strategic plantings and fencing making sure that privacy was a main feature. A safe container to rest, restore, and commune with nature. Sacred land that's well tended and naturally enhanced with the meditation path.
