Welcome! We want to note on the front hand that if you decide to stay with us you will be staying in a pasture behind a gate. This is especially important if you are tent camping, because your things will be safe while you explore Hot Springs and surrounding areas unlike a State Park or regular campground! Our land is home to a plethora of animals that you can visit with or just watch during your stay. There are our cattle (their names are on their ear tags), horses, goats (working on getting collars with names), Pickles the mini donkey, and our chickens (when they go out to free range). We also have a stocked pond that you can bring your fishing gear and fish! There are bass, catfish and bream! The horses names are Vivian and Bonnie and they normally stay in the pasture with our campers. Vivian is the larger of the two white horses and she loves attention. Bonnie is also white, but she is a bit smaller. She is Viv's sister! There is also the opportunity to see several species of wildlife while here. Part of our land is cleared for pasture and the rest is undisturbed forest. Two different creeks and hundreds of cedars adorn the land, hence the name "Cedar Creek Farms." The gates will be open to Williams Rock Area by noon of your arrival. It's primitive camping, so find your own "spot" on the property, respect the privacy of others at their "spots". First come first serve on each spot. The camp spots are not graveled, leveled, etc.. just the bare earth. The majority of this property is the woods, open fields, rough terrain, etc. So you will experience all Nature has to offer. Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. The camp host from April 27 - July 1st is on call for guests needs, but is not on site. Checkout time is by Noon. Check in is at 2:00 pm. If you'd like to stay another night, you must reserve another night online.

I felt like my dog and I had the entire beautiful property to ourselves. I was traveling across the country and arrived late at night after a long day of travel, but we were able to still easily set up for the night based on the instructions. The sky of stars, without any light pollution, was spectacular! We had a great time and would love to come back!

We loved camping at Michelle’s land Rocky Creek Campground! The grounds were immaculate and the views were simply spectacular. From the mountains with river view, to the lake view, to the trails. Something for your eyes!!! Michelle and her husband were very nice and welcoming with us. Michelle greeted us at the entry and showed us around. The amenities were great! We camp with a 13ft travel trailer and usually set up our own bathroom/showering tent. However we found the outhouse very charming and fell in love with the outdoor showering rooms! Very quiet and peaceful campsite. Great for star gazing. Campsites are spacious and the lake is something to behold. We cannot wait to book again and spend more time!!!

We stayed here some nights when we first purchased this magnificent property. We fell in love with this view and the almost constant breeze.

We loved the tiny off-grid house on this gorgeous property. It had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend getaway including a cozy bed, kitchen basics, and outdoor fire pit with chairs. We also enjoyed exploring the land and creek close by. Rob showed us around upon arriving. He was friendly and made us feel quite welcome.

Weekend Trip to Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch

This was one of the most beautiful camping spots I’ve had the pleasure of using. It’s located in the Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch & Adventure Park so you can look at the camping spots online. I did not know this but in calling, Rick guided me through the whole thing with so much patience. We ended up at Sunrise Knoll and it was incredible! Great stone fire pit, 360 view of the hills and valleys, 30 yds from the outhouse. We had neighbors but couldn’t see or hear them. Dogs had the best time running around and the stars were out of this world. Even saw the buffalo when leaving the park the next day! We will be back and can’t wait to try a different spot to experience even more of this treasure. Can’t recommend enough

Weekend Trip to BJ Ranch

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful views of the pond and pasture, land, cows, and calves. We rowed across the pond several times, and even caught a few fish. The host was super friendly and helpful. He was very quick to respond. We will definitely be back.
