We are located 1.4 miles south of Interstate 40 (Exit 193) in Hazen, Arkansas with easy access. We have had many great guest come and stay on our property and have been able to recharge for the next days journey. We have 13 RV hook ups and plenty of room to boondock and camp to get a safe and quiet nights sleep. It’s not fancy but is safe and quiet with close proximity to Interstate 40 and Hwy 70. Please add this as an extra (located at the bottom of the listing) for $15 so we can get you setup with the best site available. Hookups are $20 + $15 for $35/night. We are in the heart of deer and duck hunting in the state of Arkansas. It’s a perfect spot to get a good nights sleep to get refreshed to hit the road the next day!

Enjoy the beauty and peace of 40 acres on Ridgewood Farm for the 2024 Great North American Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. We welcome RV and tent campers. Ridgewood Farm is nestled in the heart of Searcy, Arkansas, just 3 miles from Harding University. We have 50+ free roaming chickens and ducks, and Nubian goats and Dexter cows. You are welcome to help us with farm chores including milking cows and goats, collecting eggs, working in the flower and vegetable patches or in the greenhouse. A variety of wildlife make their home here including deer, hawks, Pileated Woodpeckers, Great Horned owls, quail, small birds, armadillos and more. There are two ponds on the property for catch and release fishing. We have an art studio near the main house you are welcome to use. There are grocery stores, a Walmart and restaurants all within 3 miles. There is a treasure trove of vintage shops, flea markets and antique stores in all directions. In addition to campsites, the original farmhouse built circa 1886 is available to rent, as well as two bedrooms in the main house. Cell phone service is good with 4G and 5G. Although individual campfires are not permitted, we will have a community bonfire and fire pits going near the main house. Pets are welcome, and must stay on leash with their owners at all times for their own safety from natural predators, and to protect our chickens, ducks, other farm animals and wildlife.

Learn more about this land:On our five acres, we have a sectioned fenced (approx 2 acres) where we once kept our horse Johnny Cash. Now it just sets with blackberry bushes which are mowed around for easy picking. A very small pond that fills when we get lots of rain and has never gone completely dry is in center of field. Trees keep all of this private from our gravel road. We are located only half a mile off a payed road, by the way. It’s rustic. We don’t mind you coming up to the house and using the water hoes, though.
