This is a spacious, beautiful and private RV site. Bob and Cindy went above and beyond by providing a welcome kit. It’s located in quiet neighborhood next to a preserve with walking trails. The full hookups worked perfectly. The offered 30 amp service would be challenging to keep our RV cool in the warmer months, but was plenty adequate for January.

They have a ton of trees and we were able to pick as much as we wanted. They have a nice pool with hot tub. We liked that the land was fenced and gated, where our two dogs could run free and play with the other dogs on the property.

Weekend Trip to City Camp Spot

Michaelette and her husband Owen are The Best Hosts! Communication before we arrived was excellent. Michaelette and Owen welcomed us when we arrived and helped us back in our travel trailer on a paved pad beside their home. Power, water, sewer and wifi are all included at a very reasonable price. Michaelette gave us a prepared handout with recommended restaurants and places to see in the area, which was very helpful. Thanks so much for having us! We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this great location again if we return for a visit to Tucson.

29 nights at Wild Burro Desert Retreat

We truly enjoyed our 28 day stay here. Bob and Cindy were available when needed yet they did not interfere with our stay. The site gave us plenty of room as well as all the requirements for a full hook up. One word of caution would be to make sure and supervise your children walking about as it is a desert and many cacti in the area. They have placed some creatures throughout and finding them was a surprise. Do visit if you can and we will certainly do so again if in this area. Thanks Bob and Cindy for creating this awesome space.

The surroundings are surreally beautiful and the site is gated so we felt very secure. There has been slight issue with electricity hookup because the opening at the box is too small for our plug, but the host is very responsive and offered converter. Overall would recommend

We have been traveling full time in our RV for 6 months and this was one of our favorite stays. Bill and his family are great hosts, and made us feel right at home. Our kids loved the in ground trampoline, the hot tub and the playground, and there was plenty of room for them to run around. The equine experience was a highlight for our family, and we learned a lot about horses. Couldn’t recommend Double H Hacienda any higher.

I stayed at Site #1 and was immediately impressed by how thoughtfully everything was set up. The space is huge with wide-open views, and the little details—like the soft nighttime lighting—make it feel both beautiful and functional after dark. It’s just bright enough to see without taking away from the calm, peaceful vibe. Even though I never met the host in person, he was absolutely amazing. We texted back and forth quite a bit, and when I ran into an issue with my 30-amp plug, he walked offered to let me come up to his property to use his own plug adapter. That level of support really meant a lot. I highly, highly recommend this place. It’s quiet, calming, and incredibly relaxing—exactly what I needed.

Weekend Trip to City Camp Spot

We needed an RV site in Tucson’s midtown area for a couple of nights and this spot was perfect. Such a pleasure meeting Michaelette and Owen, who are friendly and helpful. Upon arrival they helped us back our truck and camper into their nice shady site. Michaelette provided an outstanding list of local area restaurants and things to do. We enjoyed riding our bicycles over to Ried Park and walking our dog in the surrounding nice quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this spot and will return again when we need a stay in Tucson.
