It had everything on our check list and more - nearly flat land, convenient location, but also twice the acreage, a roadbed, diversity, Monarch butterflies everywhere, access to a big lake.....and it was littered with logs!! They were in piles and scattered everywhere. But this particular land was being placed in my hands to steward and to reveal the creativity and loving nature of Yahweh. And that meant not bulldozing or burning the logs. Instead, the task was to breathe life into the logs and the land through gentle stewardship to protect the biodiversity and build good soil. Breath of Life Farm is being regeneratively developed to cultivate elderberries, vineyards, peaches, mushrooms, and small plantations of trees for wood or nuts. My sister, Pam, and I hope that visitors will come to enjoy the seasonal changes of flower colors, watch for foot and hoof prints of wildlife, enjoy the songs of the birds and the frogs, see how many different native mushroom species they can spot, and be marveled by the stars as they sparkle in the dark night sky. I really enjoyed this campsite. The drive in was very straightforward (especially if you watch the YouTube video). The creek was low since we haven't had any rain lately. It was extremely private- some occasional far off car noise and dogs barking but otherwise a wonderful spot in the woods. Plenty of room for multiple tents or vehicles. Thanks for sharing it with us.

This was our 3rd or 4th trip to the site. It's a beautiful location and the road in is an (unmarked and unlabeled) adventure. I would ignore Chelsea H's advice- she clearly knows how to drive her 2wd CRV! We had a lifted Tundra in our group that took on so much mud it did an alternator on the way home and we had to have it towed....

Argo’s was great! So peaceful, close to river and lake access, National Forest all around, and plenty of space on site to have our private site! The sunrises were gorgeous and the openings through the tree tops were a gateway view to the moon and stars! Close to has stations and grocery stores but felt far from civilization! Highly recommend!

First, Jimmy was there to greet me and show me around his beautiful property. It is at the end of a very quiet street in a very quiet neighbourhood. My van was in an open area with plenty of space for dispersed camping. My pup and I took a short walk through the wooded area surrounding the main camping field. It was such a perfect setting. This was just an overnight for me but I hope to be back and spend a few days. A great place to kick back and relax. Charming and generous hosts.
