Convenient stop for the night or a few days for RV’s or Tent campers and a good place to get a hot shower - only a easy mile a half from I-20 exit 173 ( Eastaboga - Talladega Superspeedway Exit ) also a good base camp to see Cheaha State Park - bike at Coldwater Mountain- see the Talladega Superspeedway , Combat Park Flea Market , Oxford ballgames or other area Activities - I reserve one RV site and two tent sites for hipcamp and rent the other five RV sites at the top of hill on a monthly basis - these hipcamp sites are wooded, shady with woods between the other sites to give some privacy while still not far from the unique showers made from the old chicken house feed bins -these showers are very functional and I have been complimented that they are the best showers on the east coast

300 acres of family land since 2000. This area was called Boot's Bottoms growing up and the name stuck. There is a rock wall close to the campsite that was a old grist mill site. Plenty of wildlife, bird watching, wildflowers and creek walking. Some old ATV trails for hiking as well. Very remote and quite!

It was quiet and private. The dogs felt at home. Really couldn’t get wet on the property. Plenty of area to fish. All in all, I would stay again, but it would have to be earlier in the year or later in the year because there’s no way that you can swim out there really which is important to us.

We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, and serene escape for our weekend! Dusty has created a beautiful oasis in the forest, and we are lucky that he shares his amazing space! Cell service is extremely limited, giving you the opportunity to truly unplug from the world! I can't wait to go back!

Loved this place will be coming back soon. Great hiking trails, the A-frames were very comfortable. Very clean bathrooms and shower areas. The camp store is a nice touch for getting firewood, ice and even smores.

What a beautiful glamping spot with great accommodations and service. The bed was super comfy and the coffee better than most I have at hotels. Loved being able to hike with my dog all around the trails, see a waterfall and even canoe. Will definitely be back!

Got to take advantage of a couple unseasonably warm Feb days so I headed up to Bug Tussell. What a great camp spot. Loved the drive down the gravel road. The side of the mountain was cool and saw a nice size buck. Then driving thru hay fields was fun. The hay field was wonderful to just go find a cleared spot and look up at the sky.
Even in the dead of winter, the trees & creek were beautiful.
Looking forward to booking in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

P3 was great! We had an amazing time and definitely going back! The entire place is beautiful, trails are very well marked, everything was very well kept, the host showed excellent hospitality, was quick to respond to any needs or questions we had!

20 ft pop-up camper
Brian's location is a perfect 10. I arrived in sub freezing temps. Brian insured that I had a hookup for small electric heater. Grounds are very relaxing and plenty of room for my dog to run. Hope to make this an annual stop as I travel.

Dustin's land is absolutely beautiful. We camped at FF3 hollow (yurt), it was well secluded and has a waterfront. This was an amazing experience! Only downfall I would warn future guests is, there is a hike down to the camp sites. As someone not in shape, it took my breath away each time we had to hike back up to the parking area. We will most definitely return but we will not be camping at the bottom of the hill next time.
