1 night at Smoky Bottom Farms

Nice, quiet spot in a rural setting. Rocky was a great host. He had a fire ring and wood all set up for us. And he let us fill our water tank before leaving. The campsite was flat and easily accessible in our Transit campervan.

I had some last minute free time to go camping and Rocky’s site was a perfect fit. It was fairly close to home and a fantastic value. Rocky was super nice. He had the fire pit, wood, and a trash bag all set to go. I had a very enjoyable stay. I felt very safe. There was minimal animal or road noise at night. I will definitely be back.

2 nights at The Hideaway

Lynda is a sweetheart! She was super hospitable, answered all of our questions, and has lovely energy. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and dog-friendly. The full hook-up was much appreciated, too. If we’re ever back in the area, we’d be happy to stay here again!

Sunset Hill Farm was great - exactly as advertised! The hosts were very nice, informative, and accommodating. All the animals were interactive and the field provided for camping is large, set back away from the main house/off the road, and has a huge fire pit. 10/10 would definitely camp there again/recommend others camp there!

We had a great time! It was difficult navigating in the dark but Brian was understanding and helpful, and even gave us a hand with the fire since it was wet outside.

We enjoyed parking our travel trailer and sleeping peacefully in the quiet, spacious field. We woke up to views of towering oaks hugging the hillsides. Arriving after dark was not a problem as Brian's description of the sight was accurate and his instructions were easy to follow. Would stay here again.

Great private spot in a fenced in field/pasture area. Utilities were located at the back corner so you had the whole field to yourself. Our dog loved running around off leash. We were welcome by Brian shortly after we arrived and he was quick with all communications. We did require 4WD to pull our travel trailer up the somewhat steep gravel drive way. There were some muddy spots and some ant hills to be mindful of. We would definitely stop here again. T-Mobile home internet was about 170 MBPS.

This was a great overnight spot. Beautiful property and the host was really awesome! A little tricky for a large rig like ours on turning around but he was very helpful in getting us turned around.

My friends and I stayed here during the season’s first freeze, camping in a tent. After leaving for the Alabama game, we returned to find a fire pit, firewood, a propane tank to keep the fire going, and a grill grate all thoughtfully provided without us even asking. Brian was incredibly responsive to any questions, and the campsite was peaceful and well maintained. In the morning, we had the joy of playing fetch with their friendly dog, which added to the charm of the experience. I highly recommend staying here it was truly wonderful!

It’s a cozy plot of land. The owner is very welcoming and helpful caretaker. The neighbors were being odd, but the owner was very open to help out and resolved the situation. Would recommend!

Brian has great RV and tent camp sites on his property and was very kind. We also loved petting his goats! We enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back!

Brian, his dog were very hospitable and all the farm animals were a treat. The upper gravel area overlooking the goat field was perfect for us. Found a level spot hooked into power and we were set to enjoy the quiet interspursed with the nighttime noises from the nature all around. Definately stop here again when journeying through.

We loved staying here! So convenient to the highway. Level sites. Best shower I’ve had at an rv park. Great laundry facility! Overall a great experience.

A homestead occupied by my wife and I, Hipcampers ourselves, consisting of approximately three acres of beautiful property in a low lying bottom of the surrounding topography. Only 2 miles from "Buckshot Speedway", dirt track fans can enjoy the ultimate weekend. Campsites are approximately 40' x 40' allowing plenty of room for tents, car or hammock camping. Extra amenities, depending on availability, at additional cost, such as towels, all natural bug deterrent body wash, all natural bug deterrent laundry detergent, firewood, fire pit, fire starters, bbq grill, etc. Additional options are subject to change and highly recommended to submit request ahead of arrival to help better assist you. We accept Venmo, Cashapp and Facebook Pay. Check in after 2:00 p.m. and check out is 12:00 p.m. Early check in and late check out available for a small fee if available. We will work hard to assist you any way possible and we are very flexible.

Sunset Hill Farm

We are a small Homestead in Parrish, Alabama. We have lots of silkie, polish and large chickens as well as 8 nigerian dawrf goats and two adorable ponies. All of the animals are friendly and enjoy being pet. We have a large fire pit in the back property for campfires and fun as well as a composting outhouse for guest use. Come pet the animals and have a nice campfire while looking up at the stars!
