This was our first time in a travel trailer so needed somewhere that had easy facilities. We didn't think we would find anywhere since it was Labor Day weekend, but then found River Ridge. The campground is very easy to get to and each site is a pull through. The grounds are very well kept, sites clean and level. Bathrooms were spotless. They had water slides for the kids and bingo for the adults. Will definitely visit here again.

This is a great spot for a private camping weekend. We have a reactive dog and really wanted to be able to take him camping for a weekend where he could enjoy the water and this was the perfect spot for that. We didn’t see a single other person except a few neighbors driving in and out. It was very quiet and peaceful. The spot is very flat to park on and has a great view of the lake. We really enjoyed our time here and would come back. The only downside is the ants, which the host was very forthcoming about ahead of time so this is really more of a “come prepared / nice to know” than a con for this site. The host was also very communicative before and during our stay!

We recently spent the weekend at this campground and had a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. If you're looking for a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle, this place is perfect. The sites were well-spaced, allowing for privacy and minimal noise from neighbors. It was so refreshing to wake up to the sound of birds instead of traffic!
The surroundings were beautifully maintained, with lots of trees providing shade and a sense of seclusion. The staff was friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
Whether you're camping solo, as a couple, or with family, this is a great spot to unwind and recharge. We spent our days reading, walking nearby trails, driving along the lake's winding roads, and enjoying the calm atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic 4 day stay. The site was huge, private but close to town. The lake cove was quiet with an occasional boat or jet ski. The trees provided shade but don't block the view of beautiful Weiss Lake. We will return as it is almost too good to be true 😃

This is a beautiful location overlooking the lake under large shade trees. Perfect for those that want a break from the sun. There is plenty of sun to be had down on the docks if the weather cooperates. Easy to navigate as the site is set up as a pull through with two entrances. Hook ups were in great shape. I have no issue recommending this spot.
