Escape to a private campsite in rural Alabama. The property is surrounded by forest and wildlife. There are several places to hang a hammock and plenty of room for outdoor games like cornhole. The city of Columbus is about 25 minutes away and offers white water rafting, zip lining, axe throwing, a river-walk, and other activities. There are plenty of lakes and rivers to go fishing. Auburn is about 40 mins away. The site offers an outhouse, fire pit, fire pit grill rack for cooking, platform (which can be used for small/medium tents, or to hold a table and chairs) and a hiking trail that is about 1/3 of a mile. Small cars are able to access campsite and park at site pretty easily. The property also has natural wildlife like coyotes, snakes, spiders, ants, etc.. Alabama can also get very hot during June, July, August. Please prepare accordingly. Meeting at the front of the property is not needed, just drive to your hipcamp and set up 🙂 Please message me about any concerns! About us: My wife and I bought this property in 2020 with the goal of turning this land into a homestead. We plan on building a home eventually and have cleared out our homesite. My mom and stepfather live at the front of the property and can help you if needed. My stepfather is retired and my mother works as a nurse assistant in town. We have visited this site before and it was clean , well stocked , and the host was very responsive. Sometime you find something very special and in my opinion , this is special. Lots of time and effort has got into this site. The grasss is always cut, there is a trash can at your finger tips, a outhouse that has bug spray, stink spray , toilet paper and other items. The trail to walk your dog around is well kept and inviting to walk. The host takes pride in his site and truly wants to see folks happy at his place, they even left us a nice campfire treat.

My wife and I love the outdoors, but we love the feeling of being isolated, and for the most part Williams land feels just like that, we have no kids so I can not say if kids would like it but we do... the directions were fine and being near a family dollar and dollar general within 15 miles makes it 👌 to forget something and run up and get it. Love the lights at night, William did a very nice job on the site.

Loved the very private campsite and the farm is amazing. Can explore anywhere on the property and don’t have to leave for anything if you just want to explore and hike. Will definitely be back when I want to just unplug and relax. All amenities provided. And while it’s a bit expensive for camping it’s more like having your own private cabin. Highly recommend!

The trip was so pleasant, it was our first trip in hipcamp. The Site was clean and gave the feel of isolation, which was very nice. This site had WIFI and a potty. It also was very secure, with a gate at the road access. The host was there to meet us at our request, they help get us started and settled in. Super nice folks, heck they even loaned us a couple of fishing poles to fish with, now that is above and beyond.

What a beautiful property! I had the whole place to myself for the week. Idyllic is certainly appropriate. And the owners were wonderful, kind folks. If your a big rig just be careful, as the sites are on the side of a hill and it's all grass. If you have 4 wheel drive you'll be fine.

Pine and Oak is absolutely beautiful!! The site is a clearing in the woods that you can drive to. We easily made it in a sedan. The spot is completely secluded, so extremely private! The trails were well maintained, and it was lovely to take a stroll and commune with nature! There is an outhouse that is exceptionally clean, and well stocked!! The camp site is quite large, and very well maintained! There is a very nice deck you can put your tent on, a nice picnic table, and a lovely fire pit (with a grate). There is only very limited light pollution out there, so you can see a night sky loaded with stars! We even saw some meteors! They have solar lights that come on as it gets dark. There is even one by the outhouse! They definitely provided a wonderful getaway from the city! We ended up sleeping under the stars, and it was magical! I can't wait to go back!!

PondviewAcres is a very beautiful spot. Quiet and serene place to listen to the birds and frogs serenade you as you take in the beauty of nature. Set on land that once was a farm that supported the surrounding community. On your way, you will drive through beautiful back country roads, passing heards of cattle, goats and other farm livestock. Rolling hills of hay and hardwood forests. Enjoy beautiful sunsets reflecting off the water sending rays dancing on your campsite. The hosts are very friendly and will help with any needs you have. Unexpected storms were approaching and the camp hosts helped me tremendously as I quickly broke camp to get out from under the trees with my first time camp out with a teardrop camper. In the dark the host set my camper on high level ground while his wife assisted and walked with me across the grassy area, making sure I arrived safe!. You can camp off grid with a tent or teardrop or come with a small camper for water and electric. Either way you can enjoy a disconnect from the hustle of everyday life on this quiet pond and enjoy connection with nature while you sit by the fire.

The owners were very nice and welcoming they bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. This is an actual Texas Longhorn cattle ranch the tour was very informative and fun, and you can purchase their frozen beef. Had a steak which was out for this world bought some ground beef. I would stay there again.
