The property is 100' x 100' and the house is 1,050sf. Everything in this house is brand new and was completed in July 2023.
A large mudroom/gear room/laundry room sets the stage for your endless adventures in the Cooke City - Silver Gate area. We've done our best to set the kitchen up with everything you could need to make most standard meals - pots, pans, baking sheets, and coffee supplies. YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN MILK/CREAMER, which you can get at the Sinclair or Cooke City General Store, a 3-minute walk away. Sugar, spices and cooking oil on hand.
For dining out, Cooke City has several summer restaurants. Easy to get basic provisions at The Sinclair and The Cooke City General Store - actually, you must visit the General Store, it's AWESOME! You can make a full meal from what they offer, but for more variety, shop in Cody, Livingston, or Gardiner before arrival. We keep cooking oil and spice at the house.
Whether you are renting to work remotely, need a basecamp for a month of wildlife viewing, or want to provide your family with a unique summer experience, this house will cover your basic needs with ease - shelter, kitchen, internet, and a shower.
WE DO NOT HAVE A TV.
THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE IN COOKE CITY and many places in the park and to the east into WY. You will want to use "calling over wifi" to make phone calls when you are in wifi, and using this option, your phone works as normal.

We built this with our own hands, just the two of us! Thousands of hours of sweat, sometimes tears, a LOT of hard work, long days, missed skiing, and sacrifices. This is our home away from home, and we hope you treat it with love and care so we can enjoy the newness of it too :)
