We have 4 camp sites total, all with with river front access. Each site has its own stone patio, fire ring, and picnic table, with other amenities also available. With one canoe livery within two miles of us (Little Miami Canoe), you can drop your canoe or kayak in upstream and make your campsite a pit stop before getting picked up downstream by their shuttles. You can also rent a tube from us and go up and down our property or hang out on your tube anchored by the beach. We can also shuttle you upstream on Saturdays and Sundays. You can hike on our property to get scenic views of the Little Miami River Valley or spend time exploring Halls Creek (just down the street), the Fort Ancient Mounds, and others. We know other special local spots we can let you in on, too. We are just a 1/2 mile from the Little Miami Bike Trail and close to Caesar's Creek, Cowan Lake, YMCA's Camp Kearn, and Camp Joy. Sweet Spot by Yellow Springs

This is a primitive site with no amenities, just a lovely meadow. We make an effort to keep it mowed but there are times in the year the grass gets out of hand, please be aware. Ticks and chiggers can be present depending on the season, so be advised. The campsite is in an open meadow on our 5 acre property, next to the ruins of what was one of the oldest barns in the county (there are still some beautiful stone walls left). You will be surrounded by trees and the spot is completely private. Directly across the road from our property (a 5 minute walk) is the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the third longest paved trail in the US (amazing for biking). The unique village of Yellow Springs is only a 5 minute drive away with a great local grocery store and several cafes. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BOOKING. Notes: 1) (no RVs or trailers) cars need to park at the entrance of the meadow where there is gravel. Campers got stuck in the meadow due to rain/mud (which is why we do not allow RVs or trailers). 2) If you need to go number 2 please dig a cat hole at least 6" deep. There is an open public toilet in Yellow Springs and several businesses with open bathrooms. 3) The campsite is right off of Route 68. You cannot see cars from the site but you can hear them. The amount of noise from cars is lower at night. 4) The meadow is ideal for tent camping, though it is NOT a built campsite so it is on a somewhat steep slant at spots.

20 acre property with large and small barn. Just off of Interstate 70 and Rt 41. (approximately 1/4 mi from highway). Paved parking areas on each side of the barn with available water and electricity hook up on each side of the barn. Wooded lot with 1 mile walking trail on property for guests and pets. NOTE: Maximum stay on north and south BARN SITES is 3 consecutive nights. UNLESS we discuss the situation prior to the dates. For the TITUS RD DISPERSED SITE, I have a 30 day limit (longer is possible if OK'd before stay) Note, we have a rear patio porch and deck on the back of the house that we use and is in sight. 6 dogs between daughter next door (South side of barn) and us but both have fenced in yards that we try to keep the dogs in when campers are present. Dogs are harmless but do bark when they do not know you... City of Springfield is less than three miles away. A Sheets and Loves Truckstop are 300 yards away with the Loves having a dump station. Next door to this property is a BP Station and Carryout. The Loves Truckstop has a Wendys, Subway, and dog park. Sheets also has a food court. All within walking distance. Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west. 13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S. I 71 N/S Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus... NOTE: Little over a quarter of a mile off of Interstate 70, and on a State Route, If looking for absolute silence and desolation, this is not for you. Back off of the road but all the sounds carry.....

Our beautiful 1800’s cabin was moved to the property in the 1970’s by a former neighbor who owned the property at the time. The same neighbor also had a historic train depot moved to the property where she sold antiques out of for several years. It is not sure what the cabin was used for at that time but it certainly added charm to the antique store property. When we acquired the property years later, the cabin was in need of work. It sat for a few years until we decided to restore this lovely cabin back to it’s beautiful charm and character. Jim spent a couple years on the project working in his free time and added the porch using old wood in keeping with the natural look and feel of the cabin as well as some interior areas. Upon completion, we opened the cabin as a gift shop selling unique items including antiques, primitives and decor for a few years. We decided to transition the cabin into a place of retreat for traveling guests and still keep some of the goods we sold in the shop available for purchase. We hope that you find the cabin and property a place of peace and tranquility and will want to return. Whether passing through for a night or a few days stay, you’re always welcome in our neck of the woods. Learn more about this land: Make a stop back in time to our quiet woodland retreat with an updated 1800’s log cabin nestled on the property. At Cabin and Company, you will be parked beside this beautiful cabin and will be allowed access at your leisure for a place to sit and relax. We will have a few items available for purchase inside the cabin including local honey (when available) apple butter, coffee, hand crafted walking sticks and you won’t want to leave without some of these goodies. This semi secluded property is a gem and we hope you will enjoy this piece of history as much as we do. You may see wildlife such as whitetail deer and of course, there are plenty of birds and squirrels around. You won’t be disappointed in this cozy Midwest retreat and will want to make this one of your places while passing through our beautiful Ohio. Most of all, relax and enjoy.

Cabin and Tent Camping On The River

Pack your essentials and escape to the Little Miami River Valley's best kept secret. Our off-grid cabin and tent campsite is situated on 14 acres along the National and Scenic Little Miami River. The cabin is included in the site rental, offering the flexibility to bring your own mattress/bedding or have it provided as an add-on. Once here, you'll park near the farmhouse and take a 4 minute hike over the creek, through the meadow, and into the woods. *Driving to the site is an option if you have 4WD and the ground is not too wet. Exceptions for 2WD can be made if the weather forecast and ground conditions permit. As you approach the cabin and campsite, the trail opens up to an acre of green space shaded by large Sycamore, Walnut, and other native trees. Take a dip in the river, enjoy people watching as canoeist pass, or take part with a canoe or kayak rental from a nearby business (within 3 miles). The Little Miami Trail is also less than a mile down the road so bring your bike! The composting outhouse is serviced between each stay, meaning it's emptied, sanitized, and like new for each new guest. *Depending on your group size, the host may need to service/empty the outhouse once daily. There are two established campfire locations and a picnic table is provided. *This is a family residence. The hosts live onsite and although you will not see them from your site, you will likely hear kids/adults playing outside and possibly weekend tasks such as mowing/weed eating/etc. Other "noise pollution" may come from canoeists passing by or the gun/ATV riding club which is a 1/4 mile down the river. Grew up on this lake. Something everyone should know... the lake may not be sutable for swimming as it has a long history of high levels of e-coli. Which the park has no plans to combat. 30 years ago it was the place to be, the beach full of people. Now few go there to swim because they know. However, the park itself is beautiful clean and relatively safe. You can check water quality alerts in Ohio by going to https://publicapps.odh.ohio.gov/beachguardpublic/

Mostly open concrete pad type sites. A few walk in sites back in the trees. Campers' beach, horse/snowmobile trails. Well stocked camp store.

You need to walk almost 2 "blocks" to get to a restroom . . . Don't wait until it's urgent! 😆

The beach isn't handicap friendly, as it's a long climb down from parking. It's also the rockiest water you'll ever cut a toe in. A very pretty park, however, with a great marina.
