If you are traveling through or base camping in the area for a bit, my lower gravel driveway is set up as an easy -access private parking area with string lights, tables and chairs, and space for your outdoor kitchen. Enjoy fresh mint, grapes from the grapevines, plums, west- facing sunsets, chickens nearby (no rooster, no worries), and wonderful afternoon shade. It's a perfect spot for a van or two, a small to mid-sized bumper pull, or small RV. Tents are also welcome in the back field. The property is about 10 minutes from the Britt Music Festival and the Forest Park off-leash trail system, as well as dozens of local wineries. It's also about a one-mile walk to downtown Phoenix via either the railroad tracks or the Greenway. The site is just two blocks from the Greenway bike path. Cross the hwy and follow East Glenwood rd down the lane until it intersects with the bike path. It's a safe, peaceful space to spread out, dry your gear after a wet adventure, relax, listen to the birds, and enjoy a sunset without having close neighbors. Basically a convenient beautiful spot along your journey. There is an outdoor sink, shower and outdoor toilet. The shower will not be available during freezing temperatures as it has exposed piping. I also host a Sniffspot on a separate section of the property, which can be added to your reservation through their app. Their motto is ‘like Air Bnb for dogs by the hour”. There, your dog can run free in a fully fenced and landscaped private dog park that they don’t have to share with any other dogs nor people. In summary, Orange Dog Acres is a dog friendly parking spot for the night with the option to reserve a fully fenced Sniffspot to let your pup tire themselves out. Farm stand, dog pool and plenty of toys available . This 200 acre property is located within the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument, a land bridge where two mountain ranges meet, creating immense biodiversity and natural beauty. Soda Spring is a bourgeoning community tended land located on the unceded territories of the Shasta, Takilma, Latgawa and Klamath peoples, just 10 minutes from the south end of Ashland, Oregon. The property is primarily oak savannah and pastureland, with adjacent fir/pine and madrone/manzanita forests and hillsides. The land sits in a valley where both Soda Creek and Carter Creek enter in to Emigrant Creek as it flows onward to Emigrant Lake, just a mile away. The land is being stewarded by a small group of humans and large community of wildlife and insects. Together we are slowly creating something special... including community event and classroom spaces, gardens, orchards, holistically managed ranch lands, campgrounds and wild places. Please note that we are a working farm with sheep, cattle, horses, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, pigeons and bees. We ask that you are considerate to all the life happening on the land, observing animals at a distance (except the cats, who will not allow for that) and being aware of electric fences. If you bring dogs to the land, (an option only with RV sites) do so at your own risk. Dogs will need to be leashed at all times and cleaned up after meticulously. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe and the land well cared for. Currently there are two vintage trailers and two RV sites available. By summer of 2026 we hope to also offer walk-in campsites by the creek!

Welcome to adventure in far north Siskiyou County! Firebird Ridge presents a fantastic secluded camp station in a beautiful semi-wild setting with huge open sky views over 50 miles of the Klamath River and Siskiyou Crest. Just 10 minutes off the freeway and a little ways up from the river, a handful of thoughtfully laid out sites afford comfy car, tent, or compact RV camping with ample privacy. At an elevation near 3000 feet, the Ridge gets lots of sun, with cold nights and hot days in winter and summer respectively. The mountainside location generally offers clean fresh air with stunning sunsets and excellent stargazing. Best to arrive in daylight to orient and take in the scene! Count on fair to good cell service, plus limited central wifi and power on request. The land contains over a mile of trails with vistas, rock features, gnarly old 'bonsai' oak trees, native plants and wildflowers. Your stay here directly supports ongoing conservation, watershed protection and fire mitigation work around the site. Birds and wildlife are prolific, mostly the friendly sort however visitors should be mindful to avoid unwelcome encounters, and any children or pets kept under close watch. Your host can address questions or concerns. The property is not a park, playground, or big backyard, in fact probably not much like anyplace you've been...prepare for a novel experience! Come as a guest, not a customer, and find yourself at home in the wild. Activity and development on site are minimized to enhance natural habitat and ambience. It's a slow and steady work in progress, not a polished product, so input and feedback is certainly welcome! Guests are advised to minimize disturbance of other occupants and lifeforms--it's fine to have fun and make some intermittent noise but disruptive or damaging behavior will be curtailed. This location is not set up (yet) for people with mobility challenges, or people with no prior wilderness camping experience. Small to medium size (5-15p) groups may combine sites and enjoy some shared space and amenities, please inquire.

Welcome to Juniper Spur Ranch! Directions: GPS Juniper Valley Spur....this is a short culdesac road with a road sign at the entrance off Juniper Valley Drive. There is a green pipe rail gate at the end. This gate has a combination lock. You will receive the current combination code 2 days before your arrival. If you are turning onto a dirt road without a sign....you are on the wrong road. Juniper Valley Spur is my short culdesac road with a road sign and a locked green pipe rail gate at the end. FIRE BAN IS IN EFFECT ALL YEAR ROUND. This includes NO USE of camp stoves, jet boils, bbq grills unless inside your van or trailer. Please plan on picnic foods. Thank you. This is a high desert terrain highly volatile and afternoon breezes can come up in the summer. There are 3 RV and/or camping sites available for campers to book. Please note that there are no RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are relatively flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message. There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses. There is no shower available but you could wash off hands and feet if desired with the hose. Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times. The property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer. Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake.

One beautifully landscaped acre with a goldfish and tadpole pond, waterfall, large grass area and view of Mount Shasta from some areas. This is my private home. This is an extremely quiet and peaceful spot with access through a private gate. It is a one minute walk to the Gateway Hiking and Biking trailhead and right on the way to Bunny Flat and further up the mountain. I do not have bathroom facilities, but I do have electricity and drinking water. There is a covered kitchen area with a cold water sink available to wash face/hands/dishes or to obtain drinking water. There is also some counter top area, with electricity. There are no streetlights; we live in the country. There ARE lights at the property entrance gate and in the kitchen area. The vehicle camping/parking spot is on level gravel under a large oak tree and commands a generous view. The tent camping area and the covered kitchen are a short walk further, on a paved road. The tent camping area is again under giant oaks, on soft ground, nestled in a hidden cove amid the landscaping. and conveniently near the covered kitchen area. You will sleep peacefully under a multitude of stars and awaken to a chorus of early bird song, including quail, robins, finches, jays, audubon warblers and many others who may be migrating through. We are on the Pacific Flyway. Take your coffee to the pond sitting area and let the sounds of the waterfall wash over you.

Trillium is a wilderness community and retreat center tucked into a vast valley of the Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. From ridge-top to riverside, guest are immersed in pristine nature, breathtakingly fertile and rugged landscape. The land is teeming with plant and animal life. The nights are very dark so stargazing is a treat! The property includes 1/4 mi of river, numerous ponds, big open meadows and close to a mile of property road, plus a forest trail. With 1/2 mi on the main road are a number of trailheads which access a large trail system. In the larger area, there are numerous lakes and trails. Each cabin has easy access to a composting toilet and bath or shower. Firewood is included at each cabin for the wood stove. The tap water is drinkable, otherwise there will be bottled water for you. We cannot have open fires and don't allow smoking on the property. We prefer not to have dogs. There is no cell service at Trillium. Internet is available on the south end of the property. This is an active retreat property, so there may be groups or other individuals there as well. If you are interested in hosting an event at Trillium, let us know! Ruch is our closest town. It has a bar, hardware store, grocery and other basic necessities. Jacksonville is a cute rustic town with a number of eating and shopping possibilities. Medford, about 10 minutes further has the big box stores and more diverse food options. Ashland is an artistic and creative town worth visiting. There are always lots of events.
