Here are the three bunks available in this cabin. They are more like cot sized bunks, rather than true beds. We have mats and bedding that fit each one perfectly. Each rack has a cubby and power outlet too. Very cool handmade "ladder" at the foot of the beds..Photo 1 of 6 of Rosewood Farm and Agripark

Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine! This is the first of 6 cabins to be built at Rosewood Farm and Agripark! It will ultimately be a check-in or "Rendezvous" station for all Hipcampers, but for now will be rented out until the other cabins are completed. It is a super cute cabin, nestled beside a small pond at the bottom of a hill. Trees surround the cabin and it is also on the the entrance road to our park. This cabin boasts all kinds of southern charm with its wood floors and simple rustic decor. We predominantly built the cabin with wood from our sawmill that came from our farm. It has a bathroom, shower, full size bed, 3 rack bunk beds, and a beautiful cedar counter! Fridge, coffee pot, toaster and electric cook skittle on the counter. Propane heat and electric a/c in cabin too! All linens included in rental.

  • Review summary

    Generated from real Hipcamper reviews

Katie's cabin offers a serene retreat surrounded by nature, perfect for unwinding and enjoying simple pleasures. Guests appreciate the privacy, the cozy and clean cabin, and the opportunity to interact with friendly farm animals. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some guests noted limited kitchen equipment like pots and pans. Overall, it's a well-loved spot for those looking to disconnect and enjoy a peaceful stay.

Katie's cabin is the perfect oasis to recharge and she is a very gracious host. We loved listening to the birds in the day and the frogs and crickets at night. We can't wait to go back and spend more time than this trip allowed. The cabin has the basic essentials, the bed is comfy, and it's super dog friendly. Don't pass this place up, book it!

Katie's cabin is cozy, inviting, and clean. It sits on a beautiful plot of land that is nothing but relaxing. It was the perfect stop off for us and our dogs and we look forward to staying again! Katie was excellent at communicating with us and even left the light on since we were coming in late.

My family loved our overnight stay in this charming cabin! It was easy to find thanks to Katie's excellent directions and was just as advertised, right down to the horses in her pasture. We enjoyed stargazing, watching fireflies, and being serenaded by four species of frogs & toads in the pond: Cope's gray treefrog, southern cricket frogs, Fowler's toads, and green frogs.
