Barbara was the utmost great host, fun, warm and generous. Her property was beautiful with Mountains on one side and green cow pastures on the other. There was a campfire each night and an area to lounge with her lively family and guests, plus games to play. I was happily surprised as I wasn't sure what to expect from a Hip Camp. I will definately recommend to friends and return again.

It’s not the land so much as it is Barb!! She is the most welcoming and caring mama bear there is. She treats every single camper like family and makes sure that everyone is well taken care of.
But if we were to talk about the land, it’s beautiful. In pristine shape with all the amenities you need. It is clean, welcoming with great decor and the best outdoor shower. Barb is one of a kind and her hospitality makes you feel like you are home away from home. When you are at Ache n Acres, you feel like you are part of a little family. Everyone who camps there shares the same awesomeness.

Camping at Barbs is such a treat! From her big smile and kind heart to the beautiful setting and amazing facilities this was our second summer and we will be back next year for sure! Barb takes care of everyone like they’re family!

Wow Barbs place is a little slice of Montana heaven! She goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, safe, taken care of and basically like part of the family! Such a beautiful site!
Barbara went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable for our stay.
Shady site with a large fire pit and picnic tables. Quiet and picturesque.
I will totally stay again! Highly recommended!

An amazing property with an amazing host. I camped here for 3 nights in a row and Barb was extremely welcoming and inviting and really went above and beyond for all of her guests. I would recommend this campsite to anyone going to this area.

I loved staying on Barb’s land. She really makes you feel like family while you are there. I stayed for Under the Big Sky Festival and tent camped under a shady area. There is plenty of room/spaces to choose from. Barb was gracious enough to have hamburgers for the campers to eat after the festival. She has a little shop where you can buy ice, drinks, etc for very cheap prices. Barb even went to the extent of having transportation arranged for a cheap price to get to and from the festival. I would highly recommend staying here especially as a new camper (like I was ) thank you Barb and family for making me feel so welcome

We had a great weekend camping in our trailer on Barbs land! She made us feel right at home, came around to check in on us and introduced us to her family and neighbors around a campfire every night! We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and accommodating this site was! We were very comfortable and Barbara checked in periodically but didn’t hover. We thoroughly enjoyed the shower, the fire pit, and the overall beauty of the site. Everything was well maintained and the complimentary ice was a huge blessing!! Thank you, Barbara for making our Glacier Park experience a success.

We absolutely loved meeting Barb!! We loved the area we stayed in. She has thought of everything and has everything you need. She had a great area with a fire pit and family games. Just 20-30 minutes from glacier and a nice break from an RV Park. Close to downtown Columbia Falls. Quiet and private. We will stay again if in the area.

We loved our little corner next to the cows! We came with friends for the Under the Big Sky Festival and Barb was so sweet and offered so many amenities. We were able to fill up on water and have a fun spot to hang out. Hope to return next year!

Barbara's property was beautiful and her Hospitality was nothing less than exceptional. What she has created is a small community for travelers to feel comfortable and if they choose to get to know one another in a community setting where her primary goal and service is to make you feel welcome and to take care of you whatever your needs may be. We stayed during a musical festival that was taking place in the area and Barbara stayed up late and woke up early to ensure the safety of numerous groups of younger individuals who might make youthful mistakes during their stay at Barbara's camp. I would suggest Barbara's place for anybody young and old, we brought our three-year-old daughter up to her main house to see numerous farm animals up close and personal, she loved it.

Barb and her family were amazing!!!! We loved our stay. She welcomed us and let us choose our favorite spot. The land is beautiful and well taken care of. She had clean potties, community fire pit and a “general store” . The store was full of things you may need like a bag of ice for $1 or local artist earrings and even hot dogs and buns. She is close to many things in the area. Barb is the best!!! She even had a corn hole tournament for the people sticking around camp. Thanks for making us feel like family.
