Check in between 2:00 and 8:00 p.m., unless prior arrangements with owners have been made. Known as the Nature Coast and one of Florida's greatest hidden secrets, this property is private, yet just minutes from civilization and manatees! Your cabin has a full bed for two and a pull out couch that will accommodate two more. We have to let you know, it is a bit of a squeeze with four but do-able. The cabin is located on private property with owners and security on site, yet plenty of privacy. Join us on the weekends for our Farmstand & Bakery where you’ll find all kinds of goodies like jams, honey, herbs, plants and homemade cookies and specialties! During the day, paddle your way to the beautiful Three Sisters Springs for a swim. You may see some manatee, turtles, and dolphins along your way! Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too. There are also several Diving with the manatee tours available. We also highly recommend for the sportsman in you, the newly opened Mallards Guns. Located only one mile down the road!. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at the camp. Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore Crystal River. We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year. Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, Mexican restaurant, Brother's Pizza and Beef O'Brady's. Firewood is available on site. We also have brochures on all kinds of other great places you'll want to experience while staying in beautiful Crystal River! Oh, and don't forget to stop by Grandma's gift shop before you leave. We really enjoyed our stay at Eddie and Colleen’s place! Super nice and accommodating hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the area and all it had to offer. Everything is very convenient. Close to everything, yet very private. The cabin is super cute with all the essentials provide. My husband really LOVED the outside hot shower! If you’re looking for a great glamping experience in the area, this is the place! We’ll definitely be back!

    Doesn't recommend

Please read the descriptions VERY carefully before you stay here. The accommodations are extremely small, there is no porch light so it is pitch-black outside and so hard to see, there isn’t even a microwave or toaster to use, and the toilet and shower are outside while the mosquitoes endlessly attack you. But worst of all, the portable toilet is extremely disgusting to use and the most antiquated and old-fashioned toilet I have ever seen. You have to manually pull out the lever and dirty your hand then push it back in to shift everything to the bottom. Once you are finished, the stench is awful and lingers for many minutes. The area is also swarming with mosquitoes. I must have been bitten 20 times The host herself was lovely and accommodating and the bedsheets were clean, but these are the only two upsides of staying at this place. We made a mistake booking because we did not properly read the description. In my opinion this was not worth the money, nearly $90 per night, and I would much rather book a hotel or motel elsewhere. Please know what you are getting into before you stay here. I booked this because I wanted the cabin experience, I used to book a cabin and it was a very memorable and positive experience for me in Montana, which is why I chose this accommodation.

My son and I had such a great time in the cabin! Colleen and her mom were wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend a stay at their place. The accommodations were clean, AC made for a very comfortable sleep during the hot summer days. It was the perfect place for a quick drive to Crystal River and the surrounding springs that made for an unforgettable mid-week camping trip. I look forward to staying there again in the future.
