We had such an amazing time at Anderson Lake! The Yurt was cozy and comfortable, the outdoor kitchen made cooking so easy and scenic, and the property was absolutely breathtaking! It is totally worth the drive and such a cool way to experience the area! Absolutely book the sauna, and bring your paddle boards if you can! Can’t wait to come back next year! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Anderson Lake. The yurts are beautiful, spotless, and well organized. It’s the perfect place for a peaceful getaway, and the lake itself is absolutely stunning.
A few important tips before you go:
• You must have an off-road vehicle — ideally 4WD or AWD. A sedan will not make it.
• After navigating the rough road, you’ll park and then hike down a narrow path to your yurt. Carrying luggage, coolers, and gear can be challenging, as we had to make multiple trips.
• The lake is about a 5–6 minute hike down from the yurts.
• There are only two yurts on site. If the other one isn’t booked, you’ll be alone in the forest and campground — which might feel too isolated for some.
Overall, it’s a beautiful and unique experience with plenty of hiking involved. Just be prepared for the physical effort, and you’ll have an unforgettable stay

What a fantastic glamping spot! We had a great time and were so happy that our dogs could be off-leash and enjoy the semi-private beach. The lake is crystal clear and the whole vibe is incredibly tranquil. The site is well-maintained, the dry pit is clean, and the outdoor shower with hot water was a highlight. The solar power for basic lighting worked perfectly.
For future improvements, a portable fan would be a huge help, especially on hot summer nights, as it got a bit too warm inside the yurt. We also found that cooking inside wasn't realistic; the detached kitchen on the other yurt is a smart design.
Be warned about the roads! An AWD vehicle is a must from either D'Arcy or Lilooet, as some slopes are steep. The beach is a short walk away, but it's a 70m altitude change, which is tough with gear like a paddleboard. Lastly, be prepared for biting flies, which are naturally occurring and not a reflection of cleanliness.

Our stay on Anderson Lake was incredible! The Yurt was super cozy and cute. We enjoyed a fire in the yurt and late nights star gazing from bed while we watched Harry Potter. The lake is so clear and blue which was perfect for swimming the day away and kayaking, and when we weren’t in the water, we were lounging on the beach in the sun. Plus the sauna took our trip to another level! This was such a lovely getaway, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere with so much privacy during our stay. Propane fire was available to buy and the outdoor kitchen came with pretty much everything you’d need. The only thing to note is that the drive in to the Yurt was definitely a little scary at times (I wouldn’t feel comfortable driving in a 2WD) and the walk from the parking lot to the yurt and the walk from the yurt to the beach were mini hikes in their own right! Short walks but steep. Totally worth the effort though, would come back.

My experience here was wonderful! The yurt and outdoor kitchen came equipped with more necessities than I expected and the lake and mountain backdrop was so beautiful. The beach access felt quite private and a was great spot for a morning dip and reading a book. The sauna experience was very worth it. The host was very kind, helpful, and responsive. Look forward to returning one day!

We had an amazing time at the yurts! The location is very beautiful and quiet. The yurts and grounds were well kept and the bed was very comfortable. The outdoor kitchen was great for cooking and they include most of the basic cooking equipment you’ll need. Our host was very communicative and helpful for a few small hiccups that occurred during the trip. There were also zero mosquitoes at this time of year!
The road was definitely an adventure as some other reviewers have pointed out. The conditions were dry when we went and we drove our 2000’s 4runner with 4x4, with no issues getting there. But I can imagine if the weather was worse it would be a different story. The road is actually relatively smooth gravel, but there are some sections that are very narrow and/or steep. I’d say 4x4 is not just recommended, but required.
Since the yurts are on the side of a mountain, you will need to hike a bit to bring equipment down from your parked car to the yurt, and also to get down to the beach. They are short hikes but you will repeat them frequently, so I can’t recommend this to people with mobility issues.
Overall we had a great stay: a beautiful location and great hosts. If you have a 4x4 and are in physically good shape, you will have a great time here.

Mixed feelings due to how strenuous it was to get to. Roads were pretty treacherous, and once you get past what you think is the worst of it, you get to the driveway ! And this is coming from experienced drivers, who frequently drive on back roads and forestry service roads.
Do not recommend taking a large vehicle. And be prepared to do a lot of hiking up and down to your vehicle (which we were physically okay doing, but unprepared for how far it actually was from the parking spot to the yurt) and down to the beach. You definitely get a good work out in !
However, the location and the lake was GORGEOUS. Super private. Definitely made up for how awful it was to get to.
And over all, if we had a different vehicle situation, would most likely go back to !!!
Only other downside is it was incredibly hot in the yurt, and with the little windows open at the top of the structure, I got destroyed by bugs in the night, as it was too hot to be under any covers…

We stayed for 2 nights on this beautiful property. Our host was very accommodating to us and my girlfriends dog. Definitely reccomend 4x4 for access. Would reccomend to others.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Mongolian yurt. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the yurt was very cozy with an amazing view overlooking the lake and mountains. You get to experience a quiet there that you don't get many other places. The outdoor kitchen was set up perfectly and cooking outdoors was amazing. We would also highly recommend booking the sauna experience!! We will definitely be returning again in the coming years.
One thing to be mindful of when you go is that you are in the wilderness and there are mice. It didn't really bother us but we did unknowingly take home a few tiny stowaways in our truck motor so do ensure you do not keep any food from your road trip in the vehicle!

Glamping Yurt on Mountain Lake
Beautiful location. Shower with hot water available and compost toilets. The green yurt is a little bigger with the cooking set up inside and the Mongolian yurt is a little smaller with cooking set up outside under cover. Both are really nice. No mouse problem when we were there. Not a far distance from the parking to the yurt or yurt to beach but it is steep if you have mobility issues.

I was really looking forward to this trip for
my birthday and drove 6 hours to get there but sadly there was not great communication stating that the road was closed due to a fire. Once I got ahold of them they said “ they should have let you through” when there was an active fire? The conservation officers who had stopped us and didn’t allow us access to the road said we should have never been told to pursue this and that the owners should take this more seriously. I was told we would get a refund but have yet to hear back when it will be processed. This was not a good experience for me whatsoever and I hate to complain and know that they are probably dealing with a lot at the moment. I just wish the communication was a lot better or that the severity of the fire was taken a bit more seriously on their end. I really hope to hear back so I can receive a refund, for somewhere I did not stay.

The instructions on how to find the place was very complete and easy to follow. I appreciated the orientation video that was sent with instructions.
Beautiful accommodations, everything you need to get off the grid for some R&R. Lovely secluded private beach and cozy bed

We had an amazing time paddleboarding and enjoying the vista. Our pup also loved the beach and the woods.

The sauna and beach experience was amazing! We brought our own paddle boards and had a great time.
However, the yurt experience was pretty terrible. The solar power didn’t work so we had to use our own headlamps to see when we arrived and there was a huge mouse problem which kept us awake all night so we were exhausted the next day. From the moment we checked in, a mouse would run past the bed ever 5 minutes or so, there were two dead ones in a traps when we arrived and another got caught in the middle of the night which was quite traumatic. This could be fixed with the addition of perhaps a bear box outside for guests to keep their food in. We kept all our food in our car overnight and didn’t eat in the yurt at all because we didn’t want to encourage the mice. We would love to stay here again if the mouse problem is fixed in the future

The location was beautiful and quite out of the way, the private beach was a great spot to relax.
However, the real problem came with the mouse infestation. There was a family of mice living inside the yurt that would scurry throughout the night and leave droppings all over the food prep area, floor, and even the bed. We tried very hard to keep everything off the floor and away from the mice, but they were scurrying through the insulation and the entire place ended up smelling like rodent urine as well. Not nearly as relaxing a getaway we hoped for.

This glamping yurt was a lovely little escape for our honeymoon. The private sauna experience was a really nice add on, especially with the colder weather. We loved the skylight in the yurt on the clear night we had, and the wood stove kept us warm while adding to the ambiance. The view of the lake and mountains was amazing!

This was a magical place that I don't want anybody else to know about!! :) We left feeling at peace and so grateful for the opportunity to experience this little slice of heaven, take in its beauty and the quiet. Paddle boarding in the morning, hiked in the afternoon, sauna in the evening... The group was so accommodating, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything (and more) to ensure a wonderful stay. The sauna is an absolute must. The pups would never leave if they had the chance. We hope to return. Thank you, Zenith, for creating this sanctuary.

I had such a wonderful time here... I can't say enough positive things! You truly are surrounded by nature. The location is quite remote so you have complete privacy. The yurt is very warm even without the woodstove. It has everything you need (cutlery, pans, plates, stove, etc.). There's also a sink with potable water right outside the yurt. If you're booking, you have to get the sauna experience! It's completely private and such a nice way to spend the day. The lake is right there so it's more of a sauna and cold plunge experience which was amazing. The directions that are sent to you are VERY clear. Although you will lose service, if you screenshot the directions you will have no problem finding the place. Although you can't park right at the yurt it's a quick walk. We arrived late at night and had no issues with this - just bring flashlights if you are arriving late! This truly was a one-of-a-kind camping experience and I can't wait to come back.

The yurt was very tranquil and a nice place to unplug for a few days. We walked down the train tracks to Seton Portage and to Seton Lake which was a very pretty walk. There is a pub and a small country shop in S.P. as well, if you're into that, with internet if you want it. The yurt itself was nicely equipped with mostly everything we needed, although I would recommend bringing a proper knife if you are planning to do any actual cooking as there is only a paring knife there. The bed was comfortable and Peter was very friendly. He popped in right as we arrived to welcome us and then gives you your space after that. The sauna experience was lovely and it was a lot of fun having that beach to ourselves and jumping in the cold lake between sweat sessions! The walk down from the truck and to the beach is really no big deal at all - packing on the lighter side is definitely the way to go, but the "hike" is very brief and very doable with a few bags/a cooler so do not fear. Probably about two little switchbacks and a three-minute walk from truck to yurt from the main parking spot. The logging road in is stunning and not a big deal at all with a 4x4. Enjoy the scenic drive there, it's all part of the adventure :)

The weather wasn't nice enough to paddle across the lake to the waterfall, but the sauna and cold dip into the lake were just what we needed.

Great spot- super private and serene with stunning lake views. The wood fireplace did a very good job at heating up the entire yurt on rainy October evenings. Would just call out that the FSR leading up to the property is quite rugged and I wouldn't recommend traveling in precarious weather or at night! Overall a great stay, would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay here. The location could not have been more beautiful and was worth the trek. The weather was amazing so we got to go kayaking and use the sauna (sauna experience is a must!). Do note that it’s not exactly an easy walk to and from your car so taking your cooler and supplies isn’t super easy. It would be difficult if you have any type of mobility issues. Also, the google coordinates will tend to take you a bit further down the road as it doesn’t account for distance down the hill so remember to turn down the road where the gates are. There’s also no cell service, so if you’re into it it’s a great way to unplug and just enjoy your surroundings. It’s a stunning location.

This property was just magical! From the moment we walked down the trail to our yurt, to the last moment of taking in the sun rays after our sauna experience and having a wonderful chat with the yurt caretakers. We left feeling rejuvenated and absolutely content from our yurt experiences. The scenery is so peaceful, the sauna is an exceptional experience, and the quietness is pure bliss. We recommend this organic escape to anyone who wants to connect a little deeper to nature and take time to ease their mind from the bustle lifestyle.

We had a wonderful stay here. It is an spacious yurt equipped with a decent stove and kitchen items.
To get down to the yurt and down to the beach from the yurt is a quick walk. Going up did get a bit tiring! The beach is so beautiful. Unfortunately only one kayak was available during my stay so we didn’t end up trying out the hike to the waterfall. The location is definitely a positive. Getting here was a bit of a journey but nonetheless I would recommend this place. I wish I stayed for an extra night.
I saw a bear cub on the way so be safe. The toilet was better than I expected. There was an issue with cleanliness which the host later compensated us for.

Me and my husband stayed here for 2nights and it was my birthday getaway. Peter was very responsive of our inquiries. We drove all the way to Seton Portage we missed the driveway going down to the property. I advised to put a visible sign so the camper will not be worried that you're entering a private property :) We brought our small car and we managed to get to the yurt but we had a bumpy trip :/ We had a great stay 100% privacy in the yurt. Basic needs are provided, kitchen tools and beddings. We went kayaking and enjoyed the private beach minutes walk down from the yurt :) We didn't stayed much in the yurt because the time we went were heatwave, it was so hot that we just stayed in the beach :) Didn't have much sleep in the bed, felt uncomfy in the bed or maybe just not used to it. But the place was so peaceful and stress free from everything- city life. Very romantic getaway! Simon the cat was very sweet. Also the unforgettable moment was when we're about to leave. Because we have a small car we had a hard time going up the driveway because of it's steepness. We tried and almost fall on the cliff (our nerve-wracking moment) But Peter is to the rescue and he drove our car very fast going up! Unbelievable! For sure we'll go back we love the place but we'll bring a large vehicle 4x4 next time. Not recommended for small cars because of the unpaved road of Highline Road from D'Arcy. Peter was very welcoming and accommodating. When we arrived he made sure to show us around and answered any questions we had about things to do in the area. He also offered us his kayaks and canoe to use. The sauna add-on made the experience even more special as we had it entirely to ourselves! You have 100% privacy in the yurt and on your own private beach which is beautiful. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend!
