Gorgeous and Peaceful Campsite
Marlisa's site was absolutely incredible. Located on a river with salmon running through, very clean and nice bathrooms, showers, and complete with a kitchen and laundry it felt like a home away from home. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the natural beauty and sounds all around the area.
Marlisa and others on the site were extremely friendly, allowed us to fish on their private property, and were helpful to local tips and tricks. We even enjoyed playing with a friendly pup some days!
This place is magnificent and we hope to have a chance to visit again.

Camping by the River
I loved the space we were placed at, it was remote right by the creek. Marlisa was extremely helpful with advice for fishing and walking around the property! We accessed the restrooms and showers across the road, but the walk was beautiful and not long so we didn’t mind! Marlisa checked in on us to make sure everything was going great and even offered to bring firewood! We can’t wait to stay again next year!

Lovely park-like setting, and Marlisa will let you roam additional private grounds that are quite lovely.
Marlisa is a warm and wonderful host. Her husband and her friend Barb were also quite welcoming.
The location is a bit noisier than you’d expect. Logging trucks come past at night. If you have an RV, you probably wouldn’t notice, but with just a tent, it took some getting used to.
Marlisa and Barb built a lovely campfire for us to share.
Overall, a great stay. 😊

Wonderful river-side camping!
I rarely ever leave reviews, but this time I feel utterly compelled to. This was by far the best Hipcamp (and possibly camping experience) my family and I have ever had! Marlisa was an absolute gem of a host. Very communicative and friendly. She gave us a brief but very informative tour, let us know where everything was, some tips on how best to enjoy the property, and set us up for a successful camping weekend.
There were some people working at the property that were very friendly and helpful as well. Overall, I didn't feel like we were imposing ourselves on someone else's property. We felt quite welcomed.
As to the property, I usually find myself leaving most campsites during the day, but this was the first one that was not only big enough, but also beautiful enough, to warrant sticking around until it was time to leave! The walk along the river out into the flood plain was my absolute favorite.
My son and I tried our hand at a little fishing, without any success. Part of that lack of fishing success might have been thanks to the harbor seal that had swam up river and poked its head up right between our lines.😄
My only trepidation in writing such glowing review is that I almost don't want to have to share such a wonderful place! We just got back a few hours ago and we're already looking up dates to go back next year.
