This site offers a unique opportunity to observe a nearby Bald Eagle’s nest, where these majestic birds return each year to raise their young. Watching their activity is a true delight. A seasonal creek flows by the campsite from late September to June, adding to the natural charm. A short walk further down the trail brings you to the year-round creek. My New Favorite Hipcamp

Site 7 drive-in large shaded.
Best Hipcamp I've stayed at so far, and wow, they've set the bar high. Sites are truly big, and truly spaced apart. And, they are pretty level. Make sure you know how far you want to transport your gear. Two sites are drive in and the ones that say adjacent to big parking lot really are an easy transport. There are a couple that are farther and require you to truck gear down a small incline. There are wheelbarrows to help if you want one of those. Fanciest compost toilets I've ever seen. Spring water available for use. Chickens, goats, cats, and even a pig up near the house if you want to visit. And while I was there, fresh plums off the trees! Easy to find, although Google turned me one driveway too soon coming in from Amboy direction. Host has put up a big wooden sign with the street address so look for that. Lovely country roads, waterfalls, a scenic river, and hikes in the area. This place is so much better than the bigger traditional campgrounds in the area. I hope to camp here again, just for those bathrooms alone! Thanks Mike for creating such a lovely space!!

This is a beautiful, thoughtfully developed campsite. The property is large, and the sites are spread out enough that you very much have your own space. Having potable water available was a big plus, and although we visited during a burn ban, the firepits that are set up at the campsites look great. As someone who sometimes feels cramped at established campgrounds, but doesn't always have time to go searching for disperesed camping, this was a wonderful option. Definifely exceeded my expectations and I hope to return sometime! The host was very friendly, too.

Campsite #4 was worth every step of the trek. It feels like stumbling into a secret kingdom, with giant trees standing tall like ancient guardians. The creek is pure magic...perfect for dipping your feet, listening to the water sing, and forgetting the rest of the world exists. Secluded, serene, and just a little wild...exactly how camping should be.

We really enjoyed our time at this HipCamp. They have a lovely little creek along the back of their property, spacious campsites that have privacy, and a pig who is desperate for pets & attention. The hosts were very friendly & helpful. There is a grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurant/tavern near by providing convenience. We would definitely recommend this site to others.

We absolutely loved this campsite! It's set in a gorgeous and well maintained forest with this wonderful creek. There a ton of great relaxing places and little spots to discover. Also great view of the stars. The host is the perfect host, very friendly and great to talk with. Just like the host the animals are also very friendly! Perfect for everyone who would like to get relax, explore and have fun. All of the campsites are really good sized, enough for my dog to have room to run around plus more and the bathrooms were really clean. I really cannot say enough good things about this campsite, we'll absolutely be coming back!

Lovely spot next to creek! A bit of a hike from parking so plan accordingly, but worth it to hear the river at night and also have a spot with a little beach nearby to hang out for the day.

Site 3 at Nature Camp was perfect! Very spacious and private and you can drive your car in. We enjoyed walking down to the creek and the small trail to the main house to collect potable water. The host was very friendly and the other campers were super nice as well. There are also a lot of more serious hiking trails within a 10 minute drive.

The Glamping Cabin
Our stay was absolutely perfect. The cabin's private outdoor shower and tub are a lovely, relaxing touch, and the cabin itself is outfitted with everything needed to have a restful couple of days. The property is lush and a pleasure to stroll around. Michael strikes the perfect balance of being attentive and leaving guests to enjoy the privacy that the space affords. We'll definitely be back!

Kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at site 3. The camp site was large, private and well kept — amazed that the open areas remained opened with the dense foliage creeping in on all side. One can tell that the caretaker Michael does yeoman work here to keep the site clear. The well-shaded picnic table and level site was a bonus. We originally planned on excursions outside NatureCamp and the kids (5,7) didn’t want to leave which made things easy . Initially hesitant, they took quickly to the woods and berries and stream and didn’t want to leave (racing leaves down the creek, watching salmon smolt dart, playing cards, walking to the farm and picking blackberries which was a big hit). Was fun to watch them get more confident leading me on the well-marked paths (other camp sites also looked great) and making sandwiches with the blackberries. The feel of NatureCamp reminded me very much of unstructured summers as a kid in coastal WA playing in the woods which was the sort of introduction I was looking to give my kids to Washington state.

We loved this remote private location. Campsite 7 had a great set up and location conveniently across from the compostable toilets which were impeccably maintained during our stay. The creek was great to splash around in and cool for us and our pup! Michael was a great host and our stay was very enjoyable.

We just loved camping here at nature camp. Large clean site with so much shade from the tree canopy. Nature camp is great explanation to this place. So many different plants and trees to look at while exploring the trails around and creek. Bathroom is very clean and Michael the camp host is just a hoot! He made the visit even better by checking in and giving great information. Would come again!

Gorgeous & relaxing in PNW Nature

The campsite was AMAZING. Much larger than a regular state campsite. We stayed at site #2 and it was very secluded as it was the last in the line. Parking is about 100 feet away. Nice mix of sun and shade, so even during the heat of the day you can find a shady spot or get some sun. There are 2 composting outhouses and they are GORGEOUS, custom built, and amazingly clean. You can't smell anything and the host has hand sanitizer, a little light, mirror, and shelf to help you out. Such a beautiful spot in nature and the other campers were respectful also. Be aware, some *ss**** neighbor across the way had some fun shooting off a gun for about 10 minutes when it got dark. If you have a reactive pet or person that doesn't like this, it could happen. The entire camp was so chill and quiet, just some idiot on their adjacent property making noises for a short period. I doubt it will bother most folks out in the woods. The beautiful and relaxing scenery around was more than we could have hoped for - truly magical spot. I would love to come back. We live in Vancouver and it's perfect bc you feel so far away but can be home quick at the end of your stay. The camp host is awesome. Water and trash are available (not at the site, further towards entrance), but we always bring plenty of our own and pack up our trash so we don't have to walk so far - do what works for you. Camp host also has a wagon by the sites for general use - super helpful when dragging heavy gear. THANK YOU!!

The area was gorgeous and Campsite #1 was huge. The compostable toilets were so much better than a porta potty. Michael the host was hilarious and very welcoming. Loved exploring the area and the little creek, where we spent a peaceful afternoon. The only negative was the walk to and from your car is not far but there is a small hill. It’s big enough to get you huffing and puffing:) so come prepared and enjoy the beautiful nature you are surrounded by.

What a charming little retreat in the woods! We had a lovely stay in this clean and beautiful retreat. The compost toilets/restrooms were clean and well kept. The hosts were very attentive and ready to answer questions and help us settle in. We will be back!

Fantastic campsite! A big picnic table, fire pit with log seating. It has a good mix of open sunny spaces and shaded ones where you can setup your tent. I would estimate you could have four 4-6 person tents, so it's a large one. It's a short walk to the creek with a few places to bring chairs and enjoy the sun and water. This site is not a drive into one so there are multiple wheelbarrows available that you will have to use. We'll easily come back here in the future!

We loved our 4 night stay in site 4 at nature camp! Michael, Holly, and the farm animals were wonderful hosts. We felt very secluded and the dogs loved being able to roam a bit off leash without running into other people. We will definitely be back! The cabin site also looked very enticing and everything was tidy and clean.

Nature Camp was such a treat! The camp has several sites, all spaced out enough to give you a feeling of solitude, but still see friendly faces when walking around the camp trails. The creek on the property is a real treat, especially if you don't want to battle the crowds at nearby Moulton Falls. Plus, the composting toilets are immaculate, a really great setup.

Thoughtfully curated camp experience, stunning surroundings, stellar host. 10/10 do recommend - we will be back for sure! Easily accessible, clean and well-cared for. Other campers were all respectful. Water source is spring-fed, recycling and trash bins available on your way out. The morning light here is incredible 🌅

Site 7 drive-in large shaded.
We booked both site 7 and 3 for a big group trip, but we had a few people drop out last minute, so we mostly ended up mainly using only site 3. However site 7 was also really nice. It was shaded and although it was smaller than site 3, it still had plenty of space that would have fit two big tents and two cars easily. We would definitely come back and consider either site 7 or 3 to come back to. The composting toilet and small creek made it a very pleasant stay.

Site 3 drive-in large site / sun
We had an absolutely lovely time and would definitely come back! I booked this spot for a group camping trip during the 4th of July. We were looking for a quiet place to reconnect and chill away from party campers, which is exactly what we found here. The site was large and easily accommodated a few big tents and cars. The other campsites are well spaced so every spot felt private and secluded. We occasionally saw our neighbors while walking to the toilets or down by the creek, but other than that everyone had their own space. The owners were friendly and gave us the a rundown of the place when we checked in and invited us to check out their farm animals. They were very responsive to messages when we had questions and maintained the compostable toilets so it was clean every day. Besides that they gave us plenty of space to enjoy our stay on our own. Thank you and we can't wait to come back!

Site 5 park adjacent large trees
Very nice layout of the property, beautifully maintained facilities, and really well thought-out amenities. We enjoyed playing at the creek, exploring the forest trails and spending time with the goats and pig. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The camping sites are large with a picnic table, fire pit (although expect a burn ban during the summer months), hammock and several flat and clear tent sites. Neighboring sites are within earshot but it still felt fairly private. It's a gem!

Beautiful little cabin
The Glamping Cabin
Nature camp was perfect! We loved the visiting animals and the outdoor tub/shower was amazing. The area is also full of great outdoor activities. Thanks :)

Site 1 walk in/small seasonal creek
Michael the host was super welcoming and available if needed! Site 1 worked great for us as it was close enough to the creek, which our Labrador LOVED, and to the porta potties. Site 1 also had a shady section and a sunny area - bonus! We drove 10 min for a hike in Moulton Falls Regional Park which was super accessible and a lovely place to hang out.
