Such an ideal camping spot. Comfortable, clean and quiet
Sue's place was very convenient and easy to find. We tent camped for two nights, and appreciated the low cost, the kind host, and the awesome firepit and ample supply of firewood. The water was also an amazing perk! Clean well water with a spigot and hose right at camp.
Unfortunately for me, I am allergic to the chemical air fresheners used in the outhouse (which was clean and well stocked). The smell kind of permeated the whole camp space, so it was hard to find relief. If chemicals don't bother you, it shouldn't be a problem.
There is tons of level space to set up tents, but it is very close to a noisy road, so earplugs are a good idea.
Overall we were grateful for this spot! Thanks Sue.

I was in town for a five day class and this spot met my needs well (short commute to downtown Vancouver). It’s spacious and there’s room for a small trailer. It is within eye and ear shot of a very busy highway though so bring your earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
This was the perfect spot under the trees for us to park our RV while visiting friends in Vancouver. It was peaceful and private, with a picnic table under a canopy, a fire pit, a couple of chairs, a fresh water hose, a long extension cord providing 110V power, and an outhouse. Sue was a wonderful host, too! We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.
Sue has a beautiful and quiet spot all set you for you . It’s a piece full place I wish I could have stayed longer . I would love to come back
Oh my, a perfect place in the city. Not too far of a jaunt and the environment definitely felt camping and what a beautiful place. The trees were fragrant, the grassy areas were well maintained and the wild kittens were a treasure to pet.
Our family felt very connected to nature and we loved being close to home. To top it off, the neighbors were very quiet.

Sue was a gracious host and the site was outstanding for our stay.
My husband and I parked our bus for Valentines weekend and loved it. My dog was happy to run around and we had fun making smores!

My husband and I enjoyed a great stay at Sue's place in our travel trailer. The location feels private with nice trees, grass and a picnic table with canopy. We were close enough to Portland to visit family and then got to come back to our peaceful cozy spot each evening. I highly recommend.
The spot was phenomenal they were great hosts all around a great experience would absolutely recommend for a getaway that's not too far away

It was very easy to find and she had power and water access for us. The spot was relatively flat with shade but our starlink was still able to connect.
She communicated with us quickly.
Would definitely recommend.
Sue is an exceptional, thoughtful host. This spot is roomy and scenic; I highly recommend Spacious Woodland for your stay in Vancouver, WA!

Camping on Sue’s land was exactly what my family and I were hoping for! There was eight adults and two little kids and everyone had a great time. The campsite was clean, with plenty of space and having the covered picnic table was super helpful since it rained the first night. Sue was also such a great host! She let us use a propane fire pit since there was a burn ban which definitely added to the camping feel. This will definitely be a campsite we plan on returning to!

We had a great time. This a a beautiful shady spot, comfortably cool even on a hot day. The covered Picnic and cooking tables were very handy. Easy access to power and water.It was convenient for us to visit friends and relatives in the Vancouver area, some of whom enjoyed coming to the site to visit.
Cell service is good. We'll be back!

This was a great overnight on our way south on I-5. Easy to find, and very comfortable, thoughtfully done - table, electric service with extension cord, clean site, and an attractive outhouse!
Felt like we were in the woods. Close to a major road, but did quiet down at night. Close to major grocery stores. The local meat store was fabulous! Very private. Would recommend. Fabulous fire pit and firewood added to our stay. Everything I was looking for! I actually miss it, now that I’m back home

We really enjoyed the proximity of Sue’s place to Portland. We just wanted to get away for a night with the kids and this was easy and comfortable. The site is spacious and there is plenty of shade and a very clean outhouse. While you are indeed in site of the house on the property, we never felt uncomfortable with that. Thanks for the stay, Sue!

I have stayed at Sue’s campsite many times and we keep coming back because it is close enough to town but quiet enough to feel like you can relax. The campsite is always clean, has a canopy over a picnic table, a large fire ring with extra lawn chairs, and an outdoor (vaulted) bathroom nearby. Whenever we stay, we feel at home and comfortable. Sue and her family are very kind, thoughtful and give you space to enjoy your time.

Great site and close enough to Vancouver and Portland but far enough to feel secluded. Great host make sure we had access to water and power and even came to make sure everything was great! Would definitely go again!
