Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Set on an 80-acre working farm, close to the Phillip Island Nature Park, pristine surf beaches, and wineries. The four spacious campsites are set on a sheltered rise overlooking Phillip Island and the Peninsula. Share a private spot with the local wildlife, birds, and wallabies. Phillip Island Winery is less than a 500m walk and the Phillip Island Nature Park Penguin Parade is a short drive We only cater for self-sufficient motorhomes, campers, and caravans. You must have your own toilet facilities, and take all waste with you. Dogs are welcome, must be on-leash.

Get spot, super comfortable, hosts are very welcoming people although didn’t get the chance to properly meet them.. I sent a message and they were very kind. Will definitely be going back when I need a spot to camp on the island.

Site 2 - On the Hill
We camped on Wayne and Deb's farm over a busy long weekend on Phillip Island and it was wonderful to have such a quiet place to come back to, away from crowds. Close to Berry's beach for walks and rockpools, close to Phillip Island winery for drinks, food and music. A short drive to a local cafe and a great base for exploring the island. Wayne and Deb were friendly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Paddock was spacious and we had lots of space to spread out. The water tap close to our van was handy. A great stay and would recommend for a quiet getaway on the island.

Site 4 is an amazing spot! Wayne was very kind and made sure we were ok during our stay. Will be our go to spot when returning to Phillip island

Instructions Online were excellent. We had campsite number three and the Outlook was amazing ocean to the south and beautiful Outlook to the north. Both side of our campsite was protected by tree lines if there was any wind however it was so peaceful no wind plenty of sunshine a little rain overnight and beautiful fresh crispy morning. It was so good we staying another night

Site 3 - Top of the Hill
As we were the only ones booked over the weekend Wayne let us know that we could choose whichever site we liked on arrival. We chose site 1 for better solar charge and it was more level and didn’t need to use ramps. There was a small amount of traffic noise during the day but very peaceful at night.

Really central spot yet feels like you have plenty of space around and not in the hustle and bustle of life. Was lush grass with great view over the orchard. Really lovely stay.

Amazing place to stay, we stayed over a public holiday weekend and it was nice and quiet, Loads of room, super friendly owners Great for our dog! Surfed every day and easy access to whatever break is going!

Exactly as described and just what we needed. We were on site 3 which had wonderful views of the ocean and even some cows. The site is on a slight slate but easy to level. The kids loved all the open space to run around and we didn't have to worry about annoying anyone with the noise from them. Wayne came to say howdy the first day and explained everything we needed to know. Thank you Wayne & Deb, we will be back 🙂

Fantastic hip camp - we have a large vehicle and there was plenty of room for us. Super quiet , beautiful sunsets and cows in next paddock , 8 mins drive to shops … Wayne was incredibly helpful and had excellent communication …highly recommend

Great little spot! We stayed on site 1 in the orchids which was a nice grassy level spot and had access to water if we needed. Such a good location being close to penguin parade and Phillip island winery and just overall easy to get to everywhere from there. Wayne was lovely. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

We ended up staying on site 1, the orchard site. It's a bit more protected from the wind, and the site is flat in the area where we could optimise the use of our solar panel/blanket based on the direction of the sun/tree line. It's also the most private site. The wind was blowing in the wrong direction, particularly on the 2nd night, so the traffic noise was exaggerated. Nice spot to stop for a few nights. Directions/information messaged by owners, about site location, and general area were very succinct.

There's a lack of free camping and low cost caravan sites in Phillip Island. Wayne and Deb's site ticks all the boxes. Low cost, quiet, central in the middle of the island and the penguins just down the road. Great stay!! Cheers
