Amazing views! Staying at Wesley’s property “Wilbur’s Shed” was incredible. It was so nice to be able to plug in the mini-fridge in the shed to keep our food and drinks cold. We will be back!

Camping with littles
I took my 3 and 7 year old daughters here for a night to experience tent camping.
We had a great time!
Beautiful view of the mountains, some nice, easy trails for the kids and our older dog, who loved being off-leash the whole time.
No people around made it so much less stressful, as the kids could make as much noise as they wanted.
Tons of firewood around to gather.
The port-a-potty was convenient and located nicely out of the way.
Also had cell service which was nice to be able to text my husband, so he knew us girls were ok.
I felt safe and relaxed the whole time (well, as relaxed as one can be camping with 2 little kids and a dog!)
We will definitely stay again!

This was our 1st Hipcamp experience and we loved it . Such a beautiful site . Very relaxing with everything we needed . Our 18 and 22 yr old tent camped and we had our travel trailer. So nice to unplug and spend quality family time together. They even asked when we could go again! Thanks

Wilderness shed getaway
I had a wonderful stay at Wilbur’s Shed these last couple of nights. The access road leading to the shed was a little sketchy, but still completely doable without 4WD weather permitting. The property and the views from the shed were beautiful. Cell service was kinda dodgy the last 30mins before arriving at the property, but once you get to the clearing where the shed is at there’s enough signal to make calls or send texts. Plenty of outlets in the shed to charge phones and other appliances. Also lots of tables and chairs available at the property to accommodate a large group. Every night I drifted to sleep listening to the serenade of owls in the surrounding wilderness, and come morning I woke to a large group of deer in the clearing about 50-100yards from the shed. Overall an absolutely wonderful experience and I would love to stay here again!

A++ beautiful views peace and quiet
Absolutely perfect for our party of three plus dog. The views off the ridge were stellar. Property had grill, power and firepit available. We used the power and firepit :) well water was clear and clean and easy to access. Very clean (new!) portopotty being used as a dry toilet easily accessible but not "in view". Beautiful woods with some existing atv trails made walking the pup fun and easy. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back! No issues with accessing the hunting road/driveway.

Nature lover’s paradise!
My family and I stayed at Wilber’s shed for a long term tent camping trip it was beautiful the stars are breathtaking! We booked our trip when there was a meteor shower so we were able to watch it ever night after viewing the deers that frequent the area in the evening. We were surprised to wake up and see the deer visiting again every morning too, with all the private acres or wildlife sanctuary your able to hike throughput the property, that gave us the opportunity to see a variety of flora and fauna, even eagles! A perfect place to take wildlife photography and videos! If your looking to get away from city life this is the place to be, secluded and extremely private.
The hosts were amazing so friendly and helpful we couldn’t have asked for better hosts that recommended amazing activities for our family to enjoy, the farmers markets are awesome!
We even heard coyotes on a few nights which added to the magic of this property! There’s lots of activities to do on and around the property so your never wondering what to do!
A fabulous place to unplug and get back in touch with nature, family and friends! Our dog enjoyed being able to run freely off leash! This trip will always be treasured!

Peaceful Get Away from the World!
This is the place to go to get away from people. This spot is located along a ridge overlooking a field, a small & lightly used backroad, forest, mountains, and some hiking trails. Just enough signal on a Verizon phone to have contact with the outside world - if needed. Our WeBoost RV65 also worked well. If you use Starlink, there is quite a bit of open sky.
We chose to park along the trail. This provided the closest to level ground we could locate. It only required the use of some small blocks/ramps. We were in the sun for 45% of the day and shade for the rest. If you need more shade, you can pull in next to the shed and have shade most of the day. It is a bit tougher to get level in there, so make sure to bring all your leveling blocks, ramps, and jacks for that one. Note: 1 each of a 50-amp, a 30-amp, and a 15/20-amp are on the outside of the shed.
There is a fire pit dug into the ground and plenty of seasoned deadfall just past it - in the woods. We had no issue finding firewood of all sizes that burnt well. This may change as more people adventure here.
For RV campers, be warned about the culvert at the entrance to the dirt road, especially if you're pulling a trailer. If you take your time and find the right approach and departure angles, you should be good. We knew about this ahead of time & Wesley did mention he is working on grading it to be more level to help prevent this in the future.
All in all - we highly recommend this location and our host Wesley!

Wilbur's Shed
This was such a beautiful campsite to enjoy our weekend with friends! We had more than enough space to set up three tents and multiple hammocks. The view was beautiful, the stars at night were spectacular, there was a lovely walking trail in the woods that was perfect for our dog, and we also found an amazing creek only 5 minutes away to cool off. We additionally found a small town (Spring Run) about 15 minutes away that had a dollar general if you need supplies, a market, and a place to grab food/ice cream! The owners were extremely responsive and helpful (they even drove out and helped us unlock our car when we locked our keys inside on the first night!!!) The shed was also very convenient for storage and use of the outlets. We had an incredibly refreshing weekend at this campsite and I would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic secret spot!
This is a fantastic spot to get away. It's a flat ridgetop with a gorgeous 180* view of the ridges/valleys in front of you. You have open space and sky in front of you, and a forest to your back. I was lucky enough to see some deer and turkey during my stay. The place is very easy to find, right off a hard road (but still very private and secluded), primative but still homey feeling. I used the place as a random tenting spot. It looks like it would be great for backpackers if there is a trail near by, anyone who wants to tent, or bring an RV. Nice bonfire pit too! I had fun walking the woods and picking up brush to burn, and having a bonfire.

Room with a view!!!
We loved this site, the views of the mountains during the day and stars at night were amazing.
The picnic table with umbrella was a wonderful surprise and perfect place to sit and enjoy meals.
The site is private and a great place to rest and relax while watching deer grazing in the field.
If you’re into astronomy then this is a great place for stargazing, we even watched the ISS fly directly over us.
We hope to visit this site again during the different seasons.
