Spring lake retreat on the farm
Perfect getaway space!
What a beautiful piece of property! A well kept farm, (no offensive smells, even on a hot day!) with mowed areas for easy access! You can camp in a bunch of different areas, wooded or full sun! The host was helpful and considerate. He made the stay very inviting. I highly recommend staying here. It’s a gem!

Wonderful- kids loved it
Camping on Tommy’s land was amazing. The property was very well maintained and he had multiple spots to choose where you wanted to camp. Tommy was unbelievably accommodating and a wonderful host. He couldn’t have been more hospitable and welcoming. In addition to all that, the farm was beautiful. The fireflies came out each night. It was such a memorable trip. Thank you Tommy.

Spring lake retreat on the farm
Beautiful farm, and Tommy went over n beyond to make our stay wonderful..he greeted us at the barn and showed us where to camp.. He gave us grain to feed the cows, brought the kids up to see us with a bag of veggies. He brought up Bonnie the horse and let my daughter ride her bare back. Very private and well taken care of with trails on the property to walk. Even a bathroom to use. Thank you Tommy for making my birthday weekend fun! Definitely will camp there again.

Second Time Visiting
This is the second year we stayed at Tommy's farm for my partner's birthday trip and it was just as wonderful as the first time! He is always so accommodating to our group and his place allows for secluded camping with a great fire pit and access to a private bathroom. Not to mention he helped us find local firewood and this year we even got to see a new born baby calf which was adorable.
Cannot recommend enough for a hassle free weekend getaway.

Spring lake retreat on the farm
I did go really early in the season, so getting up on the hill was very very muddy! Early March was when I went, but I’ll definitely get around to go during a dryer season. The host was very generous and helped my car up the hill! It was really nice and secluded. You can see the barn and a great view while by the camp site. Lots of room and plenty of space. So many dear at sun down! My dog and I had a really good time. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful place, nice host!
I can't praise Tommy enough how nice he is. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves there. The farm and trails are beautiful and nicely mowed. He brought his horse Bonnie Blue to us and let our baby sat on her! All animals are so friendly. Our friends who visited all had a great time there! My only regret is not staying long enough. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Super chill dude made it cool
Tommy was super kind and providing. Tommy provided paper, scrap wood, and a lighter just because he was so nice and had time. Super chill dude.
The campsite itself is simple and pretty, with limited walking trails nearby. Would stay again. Perfect for what we wanted.

Amazing people, amazing views!
I cannot say enough good about Tommy, and his amazing farm! He was an amazing host and was so very helpful!! There is a lovely horse and adorable cows that great you on your way to your campsite! I highly recommend staying here! The views from the campsite are spectacular as well!! I most certainly am coming back to stay here again!

We had a great stay at Tommy’s place. The animals are super cute and Tommy went above and beyond anything that can be expected amd was a fantastic ambassador for the area. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Spring lake retreat on the farm
This spot was so great, and Tommy was very friendly. He showed us around his land, introduced us to all the animals, and let us pick some ripe cherries. The spot itself was beautiful, lush and dense forest with well maintained trails to walk during the day, and twinkling with fireflies at night. A short ride from Fair Haven State Park, too.

Welcome, this is a farmhouse...
Thank you Tommy for a great stay. We booked this on the whim, 10 minutes away while driving thru...on the fourth of July...Not only did Tom make time to accept our reservation and meet us upon arriving, he let us fill up our trailer with water, set up, and then took us for a ride around his lands...Our only regret was that we didn't have more time to soak it all in as we had to head back to "reality" to soon.... Thank you again Tom, hope to see you and your farm again in the near...

Fireflies
This was a great place to camp. It is lush and green and the fireflies were really fun to watch. Tommy was friendly and helpful. He even started the campfire for us. He also brought the horse to the campsite so my daughter could meet her. It was close to Chimney Bluffs State Park and we found a pretty good Pizzeria nearby. I would defintely stay there again.

Wonderful stay
Our stay this campsite was a great. Tommy was a wonderful host and we couldn't have asked for more. He immediately met us, short us the options for sites and made us feel welcome. It was such a treat to be able to visit and watch the cows, goat and horse. The two baby calves were so cute. Tommy even brought the horse up to our site so we could pet and visit with her.
The bathroom was clean and easily accessed.
He was so kinda to let us follow him 15 minutes up the road to show us a spot we could swim and put our kayaks in.
You can tell Tommy really enjoys opening his space up to you.

Wonderful! Warm and welcoming host
Tommy was a wonderful host! I booked last minute, and he rushed home to tidy up and welcome me. The farm itself is beautiful and has a lovely view, as well as some nice trails through the woods. Tommy was very friendly, helpful, courteous, and warm: he suggested places to see in the area, and offered to show me a cherry orchard nearby in the morning. We went cherry picking first thing at dawn in the rain — what a wonderful memory of the stay!

Tommy is an excellent host and made us feel very welcomed!
The site we stayed at was a carve out in the woods by the hay field. Nice-sized area with picnic table, homemade bench, and oversized boulder for sitting. The smell of fresh-mown hay was wonderful! We stayed two nights and the second day, Tommy stopped by to see if we needed anything. Gave us excellent advice on some tourist things in the area we wanted to see the next day. The use of his bathroom, connected to the house but accessible by an outside door, was very convenient and appreciated.

Great Stay
Tommy was awesome!
He mowed us a little patch, started up the fire for us and welcomed people in our group before we even got there. We stayed here for a socially distant birthday camp out and it was perfect. Adorable animals greet you on your way up, he has trails you can walk, a fire pit, a clean bathroom. I cannot recommend it enough. Definitely would come back!

Tommy was a great host. It was a beautiful place. He gave recommendations of places to see nearby and he let my daughter have a little ride on his horse. He has some cute animals and there are hiking trails on his property that we didn’t end up having time for, but want to do in the future. We will definitely be back in the future.

Perfect stay with a wonderful host!
We were impressed with Tommy's lovely place and with his above-and-beyond kindness and generosity. Tommy's property was peaceful, quiet, well-maintained, and beautiful, and Tommy himself couldn't be friendlier. He went out of his way to help our trip go smoothly and to help us feel as comfortable as possible. We stayed for just one night on a long road trip, as a way to avoid staying in a hotel due to Covid. When we told Tommy we would be coming in late, he waited (hours later) for us to arrive, showed us his property, and then let us camp close to his house and barn so we could be close to the bathroom and have the easiest possible setup after dark. Tommy helped us with directions on the way there, had a fire pit and a picnic table set up for us when we arrived, and even generously offered to let us use his grill to make dinner. Tommy insisted that we could ask for help at any time if we needed it, but also gave us space. My son was interested in the animals, so the next morning Tommy came out and let him feed the goats, and even let him take a ride on his horse! Tommy is clearly a soft-hearted animal lover, and all his animals seem to be rescues and hand me downs in their new forever home. There was a very calm and gentle horse named Bonnie, four cute and friendly goats, a bunch of cows, and an extremely sweet and gregarious barn cat who followed us all over the place. They were all calm and friendly and because of Tommy's grandkids, they have extensive experience around children. Overall this is just a great place to stay with a kid. More practical matters: The bathroom was heated, private and clean, with toilet paper, liquid hand soap, and hot running potable water that tasted fine. Safety: We asked about covid and he said he disinfected the bathroom each day, and we were the only people who had stayed there for over a week. Tommy wore a mask the entire time he was around us, without us asking him to, and was definitely respectful of social distancing. Overall, we were just delighted with our stay. It could have been a tough night to set up a tent after dark and hit the road the next morning, but Tommy made it feel like a real treat. My kid liked it there so much and was so happy to see the animals that he cried when we left. I'd love to come back and actually see more of the property - we didn't get far but from what we could see, both the hayfield and the woods on the hill were lovely. We'll be back!

This was a fantastic experience. Tommy was so welcoming and attentive. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We wanted to go to Lake Ontario but both state parks were full. Tommy showed us an amazing gorgeous spot right on the lake that had tons of space. He gave us many ideas of other places to go that only a local would know. The bathroom for campers (attached to the house) was spotless. We loved the sweet animals roaming around. Tommy even offered us use of his grill when our stove crapped out. There are several beautiful trails available at his place; we did not have time to check them out. I highly recommend this place; we will come back again!!

A nice getaway at the farm
It was an amazing stay!!! TOMMY and his wife are so nice and friendly. My kids enjoyed a lot the animals and loved to ride the horse!! Also Feeding the goats was a very good time!! Thanks a lot! I definetly recommend that place !
