We stayed at site 2 for a few days and loved it. Skye is a very friendly host and we were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. Great campsites, spaced apart and two drop toilets to share was ideal. Kids loved seeing the cows and horses. Only a short 5 min drive down to the bridge for a swim in the river. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back for another stay in the future.

A really nice, quiet campsite, and handy for not being too far from Sydney. Skye and Owen were friendly and made us feel welcome, and it was easy to relax with the privacy the site offered. Worth a visit if you're after some peace and quiet.
Amazing campground. So peaceful. We had the place to ourselves (aside from the cows) all weekend. Great hosts. Well maintained campground and facilities. Sites are really generous and well spaced out. Loads of birdlife - even saw a lyrebird. Great walks on the property. Perfect for a close to Sydney getaway.

Site 1
Shared site 1 with friends and had a fantastic time, despite it raining most of the time. Plenty to explore which kept our kids entertained, and it was always fun seeing the cows each day.
Site 1 is such a peaceful place to camp. Lots of birdsong to listen to, with a fire pit and even a bbq! Owen introduced himself and made sure I had everything I needed - top bloke!
I would definitely camp here again ☆☆☆☆☆

We stayed at Site 6 and had a great experience. It was easy to access, nice and quiet, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. A peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.

Absolutely amazing time here. So private, clean and peaceful. Perfect with our puppy too! Will definitely be returning again and again!
We loved our stay at the Last Post. We had site 2. Skye was a very attentive host meeting us as the gate to the back paddock as we arrived after dark meaning we could fine our site easily. Beautiful big field with cows roaming around and plenty of space between campers. Loads of bird action. Campfires at each of the sites and half gas bottle bbq’s too! Clean long drops. Probs one of the best hipcamp’s we have been to. Would recommend highly.
We stayed at Site 1. It was sublime. Secluded and by a little creek surrounded by unspoiled bush. We loved it and would go back asap. The drop toilet was great too and Skye was very helpful and good communicator. The $10 bag of firewood was much appreciated

Skye and Owen we're incredible hosts. They helped us out with a late booking (on an ANZAC weekend no less) and made sure we were situated comfortably and had a plentiful supply of excellent firewood. Being greeted and welcomed to such a beautiful space was just the icing on the cake.
While HipCamp is the conduit, It's generous hosts like Skye & Owen and beautiful places like The Last Post that should be celebrated
This is a fantastic place to camp! Stunning scenery, can see the stars and very peaceful. As an older solo female camper I felt very safe. Cannot wait to go back!

Brilliant campsite, we stayed at site 1 which was the most private. A big plus was there was a makeshift charcoal style bbq/grill that was provided on site which we made full use off. Cooked all our meals on it. A real unique selling point for this campsite. Owners Skye and Owen greeted us on arrival to make sure we were ok. A lovely couple who left us to our own devices for the rest of our time there. Highly recommend The Last Post!
Skye's camp ground is definitely a camp site you need to experience. Lovely host and a beautiful setting . Very private and easy access for all types of vehicles. We had an on road caravan and access was easy. Would highly recommend.
We had a terrific long weekend here again on Site 3 @ the last post, with brwstj taking morning views of the valley to quiet peaceful afternoons where we could relax and separate from the outside world, and with a near full moon and a bit of fog the night time views were breathtaking
Amazing site, lovely hosts who dropped by to say hello and have a little yarn! Hope to he back soon!

Lovely hosts, the camp sites were well spaced out, it was quiet and the bonus of some friendly cows to chat to. Perfect chill weekend, I loved it
My husband and I had a great stay at Skye's property :) We booked last minute and were lucky to get a spot! Our campsite had a fire pit and views across the valley it was absolutely perfect for our weekend away!
I was there with a good friend and a small tent. It was magical! Skye and her husband welcomed us very friendly and shared some nice stories about the local area. There is no mobile reception, which is the best to truely disconnect for a little while. Site 5 has power which we didn’t use but good to know. Firewood and fire pit and toilet is available. The sound of the birds at first light is unreal. Never heard so many different birds at the same time. 100% recommended. Thanks for an amazing stay ❤️
The campsite was awesome, big expansive field with plenty of flat ground to comfortably camp on. Comms from the owners was awesome, super responsive, perfect directions. They came
and talked us through their property (we went for a bit of an explore of the acreage and when we got back they had provided us with a fire pit, it was perfect for the rotisserie! Legends!
Will definitely be back!

The Last Post is a truly beautiful and picturesque campsite. Skye and Owen were incredibly friendly, making my son and me feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The cows grazing in the paddocks added to the charm and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended—10/10.
We stayed here for a couple of nights in April 2026. Absolutely lovely property and area. Beautiful. Owen and Skye the owners were great. Cows friendly too. You'll need your own drinking water and washing up equipment but firewood was able to be bought at a good price. Recommended!
A more private site away from the other guests was perfect for our Easter weekend, we had a funny surprise visit in the night from the cattle on the property and would highly recommend the amazing scenery!
Skye's Campground was amazing, nice well taken care of campground, pre laid out fire circle, amazing location with some awesome views and surround wild life! We have never heard so many birds before! It was truly a treat.
Entry into the campgrounds was easy even with a trailer, the spots were well laid out and far enough from each other that we didn't even hear our a neighbours and with some strategic car parking, we didn't even see them!
The toilet was well cared for, with plenty of TP, and even a airfresher to help combat any odours left behind.
Skye was a amazing host, stopping by to say hello and have a quick gossip during the day, which was greatly appreciated, especially getting a feel for the area and generally just saying hello!
We will be back, we had a absolute ball
We really enjoyed the weekend unplugging from the Internet with no reception. Directions given made the site easy to find. Lots of room even with other groups. Not far to the Colo River swimming spots. Hosts were welcoming as were the cows and horses. Will be back 😀
