Wonderful site wonderful people. Super friendly and accommodating hosts. Campsite was clean and beautiful. Beautiful property to explore and enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the brook. Would definitely go back. Thanks for a great stay.

The campsite was huge and the host was awesome. The property had so much space to explore and the 1 mile hike to the viewpoint did not disappoint! Great spot to see some late season foliage and we even got a chance to see the aurora borealis too. The no burn notice across the state of NH was a bummer but the host offered a portable propane fire pit instead which was amazing! Overall a great experience

Sweet Song Acres/Shady Grove
Second time staying at Sweet Song Acres, this time we camped at the Southern Most Point and loved it! Great communication from Tina, gorgeous private scenery, and a wonderful outhouse. There was even a little bit of water in the river adjacent to the site. Camped in October during the state-wide fire ban and it got down to 40° overnight but we had a propane heater in our Go Fast Camper than kept us warm. Pups loved being able to explore and we loved the trail up to the top of Perry Mountain- took us about 20mins going a slow pace while carrying a 16month old in a baby carrier too. Highly recommend this campsite, can't wait to return!

Sweet Song Acres/Shady Grove
Shady grove: Amazing, sprawling location with a somewhat primitive feel. The hosts make extra effort to make the site welcoming and make sure you find it okay. Very well maintained outhouse a close walk from the site, freshwater stream directly on site to splash around in, 5gal drinking water and 5gal handwashing provided, large fire pits with cooking grates. No complaints and would love to return.

Beautiful campground, super welcoming, huge, great parking. Nice fire pits with grates for cooking. Probably the nicest outhouse I have ever seen in my life. Would love to stay there again, highly recommend.

Sweet Song Acres/Shady Grove
We had a great time at Sweet Song Acres. We actually split our time between both sights. Shady Grove is a great spot for a big group. You have to park at the top and bring your gear down to the river but there’s a gentle staircase for you to utilize.
The Southernmost Point has easier access and can handle overland rigs and teardrop campers.
The pit toilets are immaculate and handwashing water and soap are provided. At each site is 5 gallons of potable water.
Firewood can be purchased by the bin for $10. If you want a larger amount you can reach out to the owners Chiefy and Tina. They can arrange a wood delivery for you if needed.

What an absolutely beautiful camping spot! From Tina and Chiefy welcoming us when we arrived, to the beautiful campsite right along the river, we will 100% be back and recommend it to all of our friends looking for a quiet, secluded spot to enjoy the outdoors.

Southern most point a great spacious location. Very private amd right on the water. Loved being next to the stream and listening to the babble of the water flowing over the rocks. Camp hosts left flowers, and water (if needed) Would go back again, in a heartbeat and highly recommend staying here!!

Sweet Song Acres/Shady Grove
We had a wonderful time at the Shady Grove site for a long-weekend camping trip. We found everything as described by Tina and Chiefy. We were welcomed by flowers on the picnic benches. There was plenty of space for our tents, drinking and well water was provided in 5-gallon jugs, and the outhouse was very clean. Although there is road nearby, the place is quiet and the gurgling of the Little Sugar river lulled us into our sleep at night :-). We definitely will be back.

We made the best of it! As soon as we pulled in and down to our site, we realized how close to the road we were. We come from Burrillville RI, which is a rural area and from photos were not expecting the road to be that close. We even went to check out the other site to see if it was more secluded, but both are close to the road.
About an hour or so after we arrived we were warmly greeted by our hosts. They were more than happy to tell us about a swimming hole with a waterfall several miles away after they explained the river is at a lower point. We mentioned we didn't realize the road was that close - they told us we wouldn't really notice with the sound of the river. Before leaving, they let us know if we needed anything to feel free to message them. I showed them a photo of the dirty pan left by previous campers (not a big deal to us as we had our own cooking utensils/pans/setup - just didn't want to be held accountable for it).
We setup our tents and tried settling in. Since the river was at a lower point, we DID notice all the traffic. The headlights passing through woke us up many times. There was a lot of tree work going on and loud noises that began at 7am and went on til just after 11 for a short lunch break and then back at it. Our peaceful vacation was NOT very peaceful.

Perfect shady spot on the river for tenting and relaxing. Parked a tube in the river and lounged and read a book in the sun. Our 3 dogs loved exploring our X-Large site! We loved the mason jars of fresh flowers! Just the weekend we needed =))

Perfect spot to get away with the family. The site was huge, bring the whole family and enjoy some quiet time together by the stream. Chiefy and Tina have it set up great amd we'd love to come back again some time.

We did enjoy ourselves! The spot was beautiful and well kept. The compost toilet was a bit far of a walk but not too bad and kept amazingly tidy. The river was beautiful and our hosts were generous with fresh flowers, supplied water for washing and cooking, hand soap, and offered their assistance in any way needed- they were also quick to correspond with and answer any questions. They had a nice farmstand selling fresh garlic, maple syrup and firewood. Their firepit had the BEST cooking set up we have ever had offered to us. I wish I took pictures of it! That’s what you guys should advertise- thank you for providing it.
The only downfall was the road was closer than we expected and a good amount of traffic travels by daily but that mostly stopped at night.
Beautiful spot! I’d recommend!

This is our second time at Chiefy and Tina's space. Last time we came it was winter and I loved it so much that I knew summer would be special, and it was. The Southernmost Point site has such a special place in my heart. I had the most relaxing weekend in the river reading and enjoying the sun for 3 days.

Great spot for a weekend trip with a few kids and a black lab (he’s going to need a week of rest to recover from all the off leash fun!). Hot summer weekend but kept nice and cool in the shade and with the refreshing river water.
Tina and Chiefy were excellent hosts giving very detailed information about the site and how to get there. Highly recommended!

We had our second stay a Sweet Song Acres - Southernmost Point and it was amazing! It is so private and full of magic! Being right on the river is a huge plus and with the provided directions there is a waterfall spot that’s is only a few miles down the road that is really nice. Our two dogs could be comfortably enjoy our site with no distractions other than the beautiful butterflies. Highly recommend if your looking for a good getaway in nature :)

Southern Most Point was a great camp site!
We loved the privacy, and being right on the river. This site was secluded and very large, plenty of room for our 2 dogs to run around and play in the river. The outhouse was very clean and well stocked with hygiene supplies and bug sprays. This property is so beautiful, we hope to return soon!

This was the absolute perfect place for my first solo getaway. The little details really made it special, including the fresh picked flowers on the picnic table, firewood, garlic, and maple syrup for sale at the main entrance, and a clean outhouse a short walk from the site. I didn’t plan on tent camping during an excessive heat warning with temps in the low 100’s, but my goodness was the river a saving grace for my dog and I. We had fun wading in it most of the day. I built some great fires in the well placed fire pit using sticks from the area for kindling, and had fun exploring the area. The whole experience was so peaceful, and I would absolutely stay there again. Plan on no cell service at the site and unplugging from the fast paced world for a while, which we all need now and then. Very thankful for this campsite!

This is our 4th year returning to Tina and Chiefy's Camp and it's perfect every year! Everything's always clean, communication is great and the host's are the nicest! It's become one of our favorite places to disconnect every summer and enjoy the outdoors!!

Huge site, perfectly shaded for a 90 degree heat wave. Close to outhouse. They extra touches they leave you, flowers, water jug, handwashing jug with foaming hand soap, etc etc.
the river is truly magical! Soothing to hear.
My only complaint is the constant traffic noise, didn’t realize the road was so close. But it wouldn’t stop me from going back because it’s perfect otherwise!

This is our third time at Shady Grove and we will continue to be back! Tina and Chiefy were super responsive when I learned my group would be bigger than I thought and Shady grove fit 7 families just fine!

It was an amazing place and will definitely be going back. The fire wood was well seasoned and burned great. There were newts everywhere which were very cool and the view and sound of the river was peaceful.
