Wealderness is a small, low-density glamping retreat set within 25 acres of rewilding land in the High Weald of Sussex. Our accommodation is scattered across woodland, meadows and streamside clearings, with plenty of space between pitches and a strong focus on peace, nature and privacy. Stay in a romantic Showman’s Carriage, a quirky Palm Springs-inspired motorhome, a shepherd’s hut, tiny caravan or one of our unique tree tents suspended among the trees. Guests come here to slow down: cooking over firepits, relaxing in hammocks, spotting wildlife, exploring woodland paths and watching heritage steam trains pass through the landscape. Every pitch has its own character, but all share the same sense of space and connection to nature. Wealderness is ideal for couples, friends and families looking for something more personal than a holiday park and more comfortable than traditional camping. Expect birdsong, campfires, dark skies and room to breathe.
