Our large, open camping field means you're not confined to small marked pitches—you can choose where you'd like to set up (subject to ground conditions and guidance from us), giving you the freedom to spread out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Guests have easy access to our on-site facilities, including portable toilets and fresh drinking water, all within a short walk from wherever you pitch. The campsite is designed to be simple, spacious and stress-free, allowing you to enjoy a traditional camping experience in the heart of the Lake District. Looking for adventure? Activities couldn't be easier to access. Our on-site archery and axe throwing are just a short walk from your tent, making them the perfect addition to your stay. If you'd like to experience more of the Lake District, our sister company, Genuine Adventures, offers paddleboarding, ghyll scrambling, rock climbing and guided mountain walks, all just a short drive from the campsite.
