We loved staying at Wendy’s! It was quiet, clean and easy to get in the space. There was a grassy area and trees by the space also which was wonderful after being in the desert. We woke in the morning to birds chirping and a cow mooing in the distance. We would most definitely recommend this place!

Seriously such a lovely place! The birds singing make it feel like you are in the jungle and my dog loved being able to roam around in the completely fenced yard. Wendy is an awesome hostess. I will definitely stay again when my travels bring me through Phoenix area!

Rural environment close to Phoenix

This is a great Hipcamp! First, the spot is great. You have a very large, private environment behind their house. Wendy has set up a lovely seating area, picnic area, and recreation area. You are near their barn, there is a large grassy area and a nice tree for shade. Wendy sent very clear instructions on YouTube that show how to access the property. While to have access to Phoenix and Scottsdale, you are in a quiet, more rural environment (although there is development going on all around them). The birds in the morning were delightfull! I would highly recommend for a short or long term stay in the area.

This place is great and perfect for what we were needing. Well kept and clean. Our dogs are free to run and don't need to worry about them wandering off, the land is fenced and gated. Wendy is very friendly and kind. We will continue to stay here when in the area.

What a nice space to stay for a few days. Steve & Wendy were very accommodating, but also gave us our privacy. The neighbors have sheep that were fun to listen to. The Great Tailed Grackles serenaded us all day long. Our dogs had free run of the property as it is fully fenced. We didn't build a fire, but their fire pit area is outstanding. The location is close to Phoenix and Goodyear. We had the opportunity to walk several trails, and visit Goodyear Park, where our Guardians do their Spring Training.

Stayed for three nights over Easter weekend. Neighbors had a large party with live band that played till two in the morning. Next evening the same house started up again with the loud music for a few hours, when they stopped, the neighbors on the other side started up. Last night it was finally quiet. Nice place but way too noisy when we were there.

My wife and I stayed at Wendy's Heart and Soil Ranch for a week and we enjoyed every day. She keeps the property clean and is really nice. We really loved that our dogs could run free on the acre of land that is fenced in and didn't have to worry about them taking off. I am new at the RV camping and my awning broke and was not sure on what to do. Wendy's husband was very kind and helped me take it and down and secured it for the tavel back home. Thank you for the help. We will be booking with them for sure when we go to Arizona to visit our grandkids. I recommend staying at this place, we loved it.

We just loved camping at Wendy’s spot. We were greeted and they were so welcoming. The spot was super clean, easy to pull into and set up. The spot was in a rural area of Avondale, AZ and the morning roosters were an added plus! We had some fun weather (we don’t get the lightening in So Cal) that we sat and watched for a while and had a really great night’s sleep. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short and leave a day early. It is a great little spot and we can’t wait to go back.

We only reserved this space for one night and then ended up parking the camper and sleeping in a hotel due to the extreme heat wave. However, the site was nice, easy to back into, easy to find. Wendy went above and beyond by texting us later that night when a wind storm was coming and offered to put in our awning for us. Very friendly host and was an easy spot to 'stay' while visiting Phoenix.

Steve and Wendy run a sweet little sanctuary outside of Phoenix. Great people, beautiful cottonwoods, great grassy area for our pup to run around in a safe place. We had an event in Phoenix and this place was perfect to safely keep our airstream and to come back to after long work days. Highly Recommend!!

Great place! We stayed in March and the views were beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the facilities were pristine. The owners were so reliable and helpful. The peace and tranquility of this place was just what we needed and we will be looking to stay again the next time we’re visiting Phoenix in an RV.

Big easy space for first time RV users to park in. A little off the beaten path but it was a good hub for us for a couple nights. Loved having access to water and a hookup. Sheep next door were a little loud in the mornings (4am), so recommend ear plugs.

Wendy and her husband have a wonderful, rural spot to relax. We loved hearing the neighbor’s goats! We stayed for a week in March. Although we were gone most days, we came back to quiet evenings on their property. We would definitely come back to stay here if we are ever in the area again.

Such a great location. We were there for spring training and it's super close to Camelback but I'd come back for anything on the west side of Phoenix. Beautiful property. Easy access (even in the dark). We had a blast watching the goats on the adjacent property.

We stayed at Wendy’s place for the month of November and wished we could have stayed longer. The space has a beautiful country/farm feel with plenty of fenced in grass for our dogs to run and play. This is a rare amenity for Arizona. Wendy is an amazing host. She and her husband invited us to Thanksgiving dinner with their family, which was a very thoughtful offer. She is a great cook. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if we’re ever back in the area.
