It is just a cool little place! There is a giant Saguaro cactus on one of the sites! They show movies every night on a drive-in theater style screen that they have above the pool! They have an amazing lounge area by the pool! Oh man, it's just awesome!!!

Incredible location, attentive and friendly hosts! Just a cool out of the way place. Restored old Motel with a lovely clubhouse, nice bathrooms, and a fun pool. Need to come back to try the food truck/concessions for the outdoor movies on weekends!

We loved everything about our stay at El Pais! The hosts were genuinely nice and had great recommendations for things to do with kids. The location was safe and the amenities were awesome. I wish we could’ve stayed longer but we will be back!

We absolutely LOVED this little spot!!! Very nice and friendly. Adorable clubhouse! We rolled in after dark and they had food, a movie playing on a big screen, felt like we were at the drive in! Hot coffee in the morning. It was all absolutely wonderful. Easy to find. Best spot we’ve stopped so far!

This is such a great spot - the decor is fun and they host events and music so people can mingle in the spacious outdoor lounge next to the pool. The location is by 2 major thru-ways and I found it to be pretty loud sleeping in my van, in a tent would be even louder. There was also times were someone’s multiple small dogs were yapping on top of constant music from the lounge - so just be aware that the sound environment can be chaotic.

Toni & Karl’s property was safe, clean, and FUN. Wish I was in more of a social mood when I arrived, but I was ready for bed! There was a little something for everyone. They had Dirty Dancing projecting onto the wall over their pool when I visited & a few tables of smiling faces. I was worried about finding a spot to rest my head with the annual Tucson rock & gem show being in town, but Toni & Karl pulled through for me last minute. I arrived in just a SUV, and they made room for me. Very kind & welcoming! 10/10 recommend!

We have stayed at dozens of RV parks, hotels, and AirBNBs. This was our children’s favorite. Great vibes, very welcoming, the common areas were second to none. A fire and a movie and a place to play board games in beautiful weather? Yes, please.

Extremely friendly folks! Very cool concept and layout. There is a company next-door that gets to work pretty early, but that didn’t bother me because I’m an early riser. I just noticed it when I was leaving to go on an early hike. Community areas were kept impeccable. I car camp so the space allocated was perfect for me. I only used location as a base for a national Park visit, so I can’t really speak to the surrounding area too much more. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The pictures are beautiful and eye-catching, but they barely scratch the surface of the alternate universe you step into when you arrive at El Pais Motel and Campground. From the moment we pulled in, it felt like we were part of something special. The drive-in movie night with popcorn, the food truck and snacks, on-site laundry, and the welcoming community space all made the stay incredibly comfortable and memorable. Add in the creativity woven throughout the property, and it easily became one of our favorite stays to date. Huge thanks to Jade and Karl for creating such a fun, thoughtful, and unique experience. We will absolutely be back!!

This was our second visit to El Pais and it was a wonderful as we remembered ❤️ We stayed in the tent spot which is awesome. The vegan food truck/movie night on the weekend was great. We love all the El Paisians!!! The coffee is always great and sunbathing poolside is relaxing. So many cool spots to relax inside and out.

What a great spot. Very welcoming staff, and great vibe that they've obviously put a lot of work into creating. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The common area is a great spot to hang out, watch a movie, and meet fellow travelers. The general area has some great food trucks and a fun neighborhood dive bar right across the street. Looking forward to coming back through.

The hosts were excellent and went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. The outdoor movies were fun and popcorn was available. Morning coffee came with the stay which made it nice . The common areas were comfortable and nicely decorated. Although it was in the city limits it felt like it was in a world of it's own. It was secure by locked gates so I felt safe.
