Weekend Trip to Marbury Camp and Lodge

Lovely quiet and well kept site. Would definitely recommend. Nice and peaceful location with private pitches for tourers and a large fairly flat field for camping. The dog walking field was an added bonus. 2x toilets and 2x showers for male and female visitors - were clean and modern. Washing up facilities and our touring pitch had electric and water. All good - would stay again. Good location for visiting different attractions and plenty of places to eat nearby.

Our first time camping as a family, which was all very ad hoc because we had bought a 2nd hand textbox classic on the same day and were looking where to try it out on the way back to mid Wales. Gorgeous views, and James was so lovely and approachable and we felt very welcome. He even spent time after we left searching for our daughter's lost gingerbread man toy (which has only just turned up safely at home!). The views over the plains and hills were astonishing and the toilets on site really clean and nice to use. Lots of lovely places to walk nearby as well. Thank you James for making our 1st camping so great!

Loved my stay - the view is incredible and worth it for that alone. It was a last minute booking to make the most of the sun but I’ll absolutely be back for a longer stay. It’s a small field with pitches around the perimeter, and as a solo camper I felt extremely safe. James was lovely too!

A peaceful site close to Lampeter. The pitches are grass and fairly level and there are two small, but beautifully clean toilet and shower shacks with a washing and fresh water area behind. Great communication from the hosts.

We have stayed at 68 Degrees West a couple of times now. It’s a great campsite. There is plenty of space in the field, so even with other campervans there, it feels like you have privacy and room to enjoy the beautiful views. The shower and toilet block was spotless. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Location is excellent. The views are stunning despite our stay being on a more overly cloudy/misty day/night. Close to Brecon town centre and easily reached by taxi both ways. Craddock Golf Course nearby was also very welcoming where we watch the 1st half of the rugby before heading into town. We did message a couple of times via Hipcamp about the pitch but didnt get a reply. However, when we arrived we were happy with the pitches available. We just picked our own and set up. Overall we were really pleased and would definitely return.

Absolutely stunning site and location with incredible views. The showers and toilets were immaculately clean (and warm!). Would absolutely recommend this site, and definitely planning a return later in the year. Perfect for exploring Brecon!

Weekend Trip to Baldwins Brook Glamping

The site is very peaceful on the banks of the Severn within walking distance of two good pubs that do food. The site is well maintained with easy hookups for our camper and plenty of space between pitches. Picturesque Saul junction is five minutes drive with lots of narrow boats and a decent cafe.

Disposal for Elsan chemicals and Grey water. Fresh water and Solar Eco Generated Eco 6A and 16A points around the field. FREE WiFi broadband covers the site. Shelter POD for all to use in bad weather with TV and Phone charging points. We now offer Pre-Booked options of early arrival from 11am on your day of arrival and late departure on your last day up to 6pm. A micro "Eco Friendly Site" with a low carbon target. Back to basic camping with some modern touches. FREE WiFi. All power here is generated from Solar-PV and distributed to our camping field. The camp has open plan pitches to enhance the views and you can generally choose your preferred spot. Families and children very welcome. Well behaved dogs (Max 2 per pitch) MUST be on leads at all times. All Weather Hardstanding pitches with hard road access. Great for winter or bad weather. If the weather turns bad you can upgrade after arrival (subject to availability) PLEASE NOTE; Due to recent incidents Private Owned Fire-Pits/BBQ will no longer be permitted to be used at the pitch. Hire a canoe from James our Camp Host for that special River Severn and Attingham Park river experience.
