We have 7 spaced out pitches, 6 on the main field, and 1 woodland pitch where you can relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the local are with its many beaches and beautiful country walks in the Snowdonia National park. We are a dog friendly site with a designated field for dogs to run off their leads. We don't allow dogs in the glamping cabin or bell tent. We also allow barbeques and campfires in the provided chimeneas.

The lodge and cabin are set on the banks of the Afon (River) Colwyn by the edge of Beddgelert Forest, a short distance from the centre of the picturesque village of Beddgelert in the very heart of the Snowdonia National Park. The lodge and Cabin are within the grounds of the property Hafod Wydr.
The property nestles between the mountains of Snowdon and Moel Hebog, with the river literally on your doorstep.
Full and direct access to the forests mountain bike routes and footpaths, which make it a very special destination; it provides a quiet and private secluded experience and the ideal base for your holiday.
The accommodation comprises of self catering lodge/Cabin set in their own private gardens. We have two places to stay Colwyn Cabin a Rustin 1970’s woodpecker caravan sleeps 2 and Snowdon Lodge a more modern static caravan sleeps 4. They are both set in their own private gardens next to Colwyn river, surrounded by trees with views of Moel Hebog and Snowdon mountains. There are acres of forest to walk through on the doorstep.

This is the perfect mix of luxury and the outdoors. Charlie was amazing from start to finish and couldn’t do enough for us. There’s nothing better than sleeping under the stars (in a proper bed!). We can’t wait to return. Thanks for the perfect break ❤️

Weekend Trip to Cae Ddel Country Camping
We really enjoyed staying at the cabin, it's in a very private woodland with a fire pit and bbq. Cabin is very comfortable but you still get a camping like "back to nature" experience.

We had a lovely and peaceful time at the bell tent on Frances's land. The BBQ and kitchen area were very well equipped so it was easy to drop our things in the tent and get cooking as soon as we arrived. The washing facilities were excellent too which made for a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend.

Weekend Trip to Cae Nant Glamping
Fantastic stay with lovely personalised attention and details. Great quiet tucked away spot and perfect for getting out and about... we had outside hot tub baths on both nights, made pizza on the terrace one evening, and enjoyed movie nights in front of the wood burner (with our nephew with special needs). We were out for pony trekking on the Sunday morning (30 mins away) and then Sunday lunch overlooking Lake Vyrnwy (10 mins away). Lovely cooked breakfast supplies and generally fabulous hosting. Highly recommended.
