Located within walking distance of the historical market town of Machynlleth, we're a great base for exploring all that rural Mid West Wales has to offer. We're on the Glyndŵr National Walking Trail and the Wales Coast Path. There are many cycling trails of all levels nearby - from the Lon Las and Dyfi Bike Park to Ystwyth and Elan Trails. A short bus ride from us are the Snowdonia National Park, Cader Idris and beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay. Our guests love the outdoors but like a little relaxation at the end of a day's activities, so we offer a some home comforts in the communal camping facilities barn which has a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, microwave and washing up area as well as an indoor seating area on the mezzanine level. Hot showers and toilets are available in the wet rooms also situated in the barn. You can unwind under the stars in the communal campfire area next to the camping field. There's an outdoor sink on the camping field for cleaning muddy gear and a place to clean your bike if needed. The nearby town offers independent shops, an art gallery and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, grocery shops and a petrol station where you can top up on supplies. You'll get the best of both worlds at this secluded campsite which overlooks the Dyfi Valley's stunning scenery whilst being within stone's throw of local amenities.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven. Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements. We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests! We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay. Litter: You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible. Pitches to be left as you found them. Noise: Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning. No loud music is to be played at any time. Children: Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area. Dogs: Must not to be left unattended. Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. A fantastic place to camp. The facilities were great the welcome was lovely and the views amazing. Will definitely be back for a longer stay. Linda and hubby were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and modern. The directions were clear and easy to follow. We enjoyed the fire pit and listening to the owls late into the evening. Will recommend to anyone looking to visit the area, and the eggs were delicious too.

Weekend Trip to Celtic Woodland Holidays

This was our second time staying here, and it was even more special than the first time. Every second is something to cherish. Hosts are lovely, warm and very welcoming. Facilities are outstanding, with communal kitchen and games rooms with had a pool table, air hockey and the means to play table tennis. The pod was warm, comfortable and homely. We cannot wait to stay again. Perfect getaway.

We have just come back from a campervan 2 night trip to Panpwnton Campsite. We had a lovely time, it was very quiet as we were the only ones staying…. Probably due to the weather! This meant we got a great spot right next to the river which was perfect. The facilities were good. The location was great. We did a walk straight from the site on to part of Offa Dykes path and along to the Knuclas viaduct, great views along the way. We had thought we might get the train back just for fun, but they don’t run very often (would have been a 2hr wait) so walked back instead. Site also easy walking distance to the local pub for an evening meal which was good too. Very Dark walk back that evening meant for some great star gazing:-)

Lovely field to camp in, beautiful views around the farm in the morning, great building to chill out in, useful facilities to store and heat food. Also loved the honesty shop with delicious pastries. Ian was very helpful with recommending local walks, and checked in throughout stay. Would love to visit again next year!

Panpwnton Farm is a lovely campsite. Very clean toilets and wash up facilities. I didn't use the showers as I only stayed a couple of nights, however they were spacious. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay. It's a lovely walk from the campsite to Knighton, alongside the river. Trains do pass right along the side of the site but it didn't bother me or my dog. Easy access to Offa's Dyke.

we went camping in nic and leighs site and it was beautiful, we was the only ones on the camping site but either way it was peiceful and amazing facilites including the comunal fiepit. my kids and my dog loved the area and rubnibg through the trees. the toilets,showers ,game room, the park and the kitchen, was amazing. will 100% be comming again and recommending to others. amazing place to be

The pitches sits on a raised slate plateau, nestled under the treeline...separated from the other pitches by shrubs... (picture taken in early spring before a lot of the green leaves have grown back after winter!)

The site is really lovely close enough to town to walk in and great location by the stream with walking paths for our dog. The toilets and showers were clean and maintained and Roxanne was very friendly.
