Cwmwye Camping is a small greener camping club site based just outside builth wells. The River Wye is only a short walk from the campsite where you will find the wye valley walk that runs north to south. On site we have communal fire pit, washing up area,gas shower and two compost toilets. Price of pitch includes firewood for fire pit.
We have lots of lovely walks around us and cycling routes including cycling route 8 which goes right passed the campsite entrance.
We are a greener camping site and it is £12 for membership which can be organised on arrival. Only one person needs to be a member with in you're group.

This was our second time staying here, and it was even more special than the first time.
Every second is something to cherish.
Hosts are lovely, warm and very welcoming. Facilities are outstanding, with communal kitchen and games rooms with had a pool table, air hockey and the means to play table tennis.
The pod was warm, comfortable and homely. We cannot wait to stay again. Perfect getaway.

we went camping in nic and leighs site and it was beautiful, we was the only ones on the camping site but either way it was peiceful and amazing facilites including the comunal fiepit. my kids and my dog loved the area and rubnibg through the trees. the toilets,showers ,game room, the park and the kitchen, was amazing. will 100% be comming again and recommending to others. amazing place to be

2 nights at Cuddfan - The Hiding Place
Thanks Mark for the lovely stay! The area is secluded and picturesque, which really gave us the feeling of living a nomadic life with just the basic amenities.
A few tips for future visitors:
Bring a hanging light or headlamp, as it gets very dark and there’s no lighting provided.
There’s a gas stove and cooking area, but you’ll need to bring your own utensils.
Pack warm duvets and thick jackets if you’re visiting in autumn, as nights can get very cold.
🚗 Important: Do not drive your car down to the tent. Park just after entering the gate and walk down instead. I missed the host’s message about this, got stuck trying to drive back up, and had to be rescued by a farmer with his tractor (thankfully the host responded quickly and was super helpful!).
Despite that little adventure, I absolutely loved the stay and would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a unique experience without the hassle of putting up a tent yourself.
