With fields, woodlands and a stream running through the middle, there's space for family, friends and dogs too, find your spot and get exploring, there are no designated pitches here. Nestled between Dartmoor National Park to the south and the dramatic Cornish coastline to the north you will not be short of a story to share around the campfire.
It's not just people, as neighbours to a County Wildlife Site, we are very excited to discover the wildlife that also calls our patch home and help protect some rare habitats: we are custodians to a small patch of extremely rare Temperate Rainforest and Culm Grassland that is a nature-lovers' paradise.
The closest you’ll get to a wash is a splash in the on-site stream, the only undercover space is our small, communal field shelter and when it comes to drinking water – come prepared WE HAVE NO DRINKING WATER ON SITE!
What we lack in luxuries, we make up for with freedom! Space to wander, play games, stargaze and generally have fun however that looks to you:

Just returned home from a lovely week at Roskilly’s, and we had a great time! Lovely site with good facilities, the staff really helpful as well. The restaurant/ice cream shop across the road makes it me, the food is lovely and the entertainment in the evening is varied and really good.

We had such a wonderful two-night stay at Elm Farm with two friends and our two dogs. The location was absolutely perfect, just a short drive to lots of beautiful beaches, with Porthtowan being a real highlight for us as it brought back childhood memories of visiting.
The facilities at Elm Farm were excellent and made our stay really comfortable. The hosts were so welcoming and attentive, and they went out of their way to give us loads of great recommendations for places to explore nearby.
One of the best surprises was discovering their café on the bike hire side, the food was absolutely amazing and not to be missed!
We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our trip. We’d definitely recommend Elm Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a fantastic location, and we’ll certainly be returning.

Lovely site, great amenities that were also eco friendly, river is right there for a swim or kayak and the morning views were beautiful. We were the only campers so it was super quiet but Jonathan was close by if we had any issues. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

I can’t rate the site and owner Kate high enough. Plenty of hot water, clean amenities on a great site close to coast path, stunning beaches, pubs etc. There is a wealth of information provided for campers and someone on hand to offer advice or support. We will back very soon. Thank you 🥰

We love it at Sunny corner, we tend to go back here every year because it’s a great place, decent sized pitches and there’s a huge field for playing in with the kids. Each year we go back and there’s subtle improvements, such as a wet suit dip, a freezer for cool blocks, a quiet pitch zone etc… St Agnes itself is beautiful and has some lovely scenery. In the main field there is 2 showers and 4 toilet cubicles, with additional ones in the top field, there were queues often for the showers, which is to be expected considering the quiet zone expansion, but like I say, each year there’s improvements so it wouldn’t surprise me if more toilets or showers are made in the next few years. The place is a real sun trap when the sun is out, a really nice relaxing fuss free camp which is one reason we love it.

So it’s fair to say that as adults with no kids we probably should have realised how busy the site would be and how many children would be there! That said the campsite itself is well laid out and the facilities are lovely and clean, there was some queuing for toilets and showers due to the numbers on site, so best to use before rush hour! We had an amazing meal at the restaurant and pre ordered the chefs special which did not disappoint! Staff were great! Very attentive and the local band performing had us all up and dancing the night away! Location wise you have easy access to the SW Coastal path and we had a great walk into the village of Coverack. So all in all a great stay and we will certainly go back, even if just for the food ❤️ but not till the kids are back at school 🤣 👍

Hi, a very nice place for a tent or camping, close to the beach and a lot of walking paths, I met some really great campers who kept the toilets and showers clean and in general it was nice As for the service, it was very nice, but I didn't have much contact with them, and that's probably because nothing surprised me. Where to go
Along the River Tamar
The River Tamar runs through the heart of the AONB, marking the border of Cornwall and Devon. Take a ride on the scenic Tamar Valley Line railway from Plymouth to Gunnislake, and hop off to visit Calstock village, enjoy riverside walks, or have lunch at a country pub. May through October is fishing season, and the river is known for its salmon and trout fishing.
Dartmoor
The River Tavy winds its way north through the Tamar Valley, where you can enjoy woodland walks and pitch your tent at rural camping grounds. Go kayaking or windsurfing at Lopwell Dam, visit the market town of Tavistock, and tuck into a traditional Devonshire cream tea at a local café. Beyond Tavistock, the wild moorlands of the Dartmoor National Park are a natural playground for hikers and campers.
South Devon
Coastal Plymouth lies between two AONBs, with the Tamar Valley to the north and South Devon to the east. Set sail on a boat cruise around the Plymouth Sound, then head along the South Devon coast to enjoy beachside camping and seaside hikes. The blue flag beaches at Bantham and Bigbury on Sea are favorites for summer sunseekers, or visit in winter, when migrating seabirds flock to the coast.
Cornish coast
Saltash and Torpoint lie on the southwest borders of the Tamar Valley, where the Lynher River meets the Plymouth Sound. Dive into Cornwall’s mining heritage as you explore 18th-century mines, hike along the South West Coast Path, or try wakeboarding and windsurfing along the Hamoaze estuary. To escape the crowds, head to the Rame Peninsula, where you’ll find secluded coves, sea-cliffs walks, and ocean-view campsites.
