Wonderful stay at this rustic retreat! The hot tub was easy to use, super comfortable bed, and (very) nearby pub was delicious - even a free community curry night one evening. We were also able to charge our phones at the pub and send a quick text since the site didn't have sockets/cell service (not a bad thing just something to note)! Unlimited wood and quick responses from Duncan made this an extremely smooth-sailing glamping retreat! Extremely private-feeling as well. Will definitely return for another needed city escape :)

We had such a lovely stay here and genuinely enjoyed every minute. The outdoor fireplace area was one of our favourite parts, especially sitting by the fire in the evening, and the little table outside made it perfect for eating and relaxing. The hot tub was wonderful too. What really stood out was how much care had gone into everything. We had everything we needed, and the homemade touches made it feel even more special: fresh bread, homemade biscuits, handmade soap and a lovely breakfast provided for us. Everything was clean, comfortable and very well thought out. We were also really impressed by the kindness and care of our host. We felt very looked after from beginning to end. Such a peaceful, beautiful place and definitely somewhere we would happily stay again.

We live in London and it was very easy to reach with public transport. Maybe bring some ear plugs because you will hear airplanes.

The pub next door is lovely and a really good option if you don’t feel like cooking. We would definitely recommend a stay when you want some peace and quiet and time in nature.

The outdoor bath, the refreshing morning cold plunge, the campfire and watching the stars at night, before waking up to a beautiful sunrise with a sheep having their breakfast right next to the cabin made it very special. Beki, Simon, and co were fantastic from the first moment. Communication was excellent throughout, and everything was spotless. Our weekend getaway at Matt’s farm was nothing less than perfect. The surroundings are private, beautiful and peaceful and the hut itself is lovely - very tastefully decorated and comfortable. We were really impressed by the attention to detail, and the special extra touches such as marshmallows for the fire were really appreciated! There is a lovely pub and farm shop just 20 min walk away, and Matt suggested a walk around the forest and nearby monastery which was lovely. We were sad to leave and would absolutely come back! The sheep at the bottom of the garden were the highlight - they were so sweet and loved being scratched! Thank you Matt for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful setting. The tents were set up inside so comfortably, shower and toilet block clean and beautifully rustic with gorgeous smelling soap and shampoo etc. Added bonus of having the firepit available with added safety precautions with current dry conditions. Great onsite cafe. So close to great walks and pubs too. Would very much recommend to friends.

Absolutely Fabulous place to stay. Laura the host was so welcoming, kind and knowledgeable.. We stayed in the LandPod, we loved it. So peaceful, and secluded!!! No hesitation in thoroughly recommending this Fantastic camp site. Oh, they also have Shepherds Huts and Bell Tents which looked amazing. So good we have been there the past two weekends and look forward to getting back real soon!!!
