The site borders a river meadow where visitors can wonder down and take a walk down with the river bank, relax by the water edge, throw a few skimmers, do a spot of fishing or even go wild water swimming (at your own risk!). ​Well behaved dogs are welcome (maximum 2 per unit). ​We were delighted to receive a nomination for The Camping and Caravanning Club Best Hideaway Site in 2021 and grateful to our wonderful guests for the nomination. ​

Free communal fridge/freezer for all campers. We offer Pre-Booked options of early arrival from 11am on your first day and extended stay on your last day to 6pm. A small "Eco Friendly Site" with a low carbon target. Camping with modern touches. Power is generated from Solar-PV and all pitches have access to Hookup should you need it. The camp has open plan pitches to enhance the views (Pls book hardstanding in wet weather) All Weather 365 Hardstanding pitches. Great for winter or bad weather. If the weather turns bad you can upgrade after arrival (subject to availability) ** Some seasonal hardstanding pitches, please enquire. Approved Fire-Pits, available for hire may be used at the pitch. Check-in is between 3pm and 7.30pm unless early arrival is pre-booked. If you are late please telephone reception. For your security, a time locked access gate operates after 7.30pm. Pass code provided after check-in for 24/7 access.

We are a small family farm site hidden in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales, near the lovely town of Llanidloes. Our easy to find, just off A470 location makes a stay with us convenient yet once you wind up to our drive you are on top of the world with spectacular views both day and night - we are a recognised Dark Skies Wales area for outstanding stargazing due to our lofty 1300ft height and un-light polluted sky. With over 60 acres to explore space and quite is guaranteed. Choose from secluded Idris the Shepherds hut with repurposed horsebox shower and woodfired outdoor bath, family glamping geo-domes Willow & Oak and Daisy bell tent each with covered camp kitchens or wild meadow camping plus a campervan spot. Our mission is to rewild the farm, manage the ancient woodland, support the abundant wildlife & finally protect its 5 acre peat-bog (peat bogs are as environmentally important as rain forests – peat holds more carbon than the combined forests of Britain, France and Germany!)

A fantastic place to camp. The facilities were great the welcome was lovely and the views amazing. Will definitely be back for a longer stay. Linda and hubby were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and modern. The directions were clear and easy to follow. We enjoyed the fire pit and listening to the owls late into the evening. Will recommend to anyone looking to visit the area, and the eggs were delicious too.

Weekend Trip to Celtic Woodland Holidays
This was our second time staying here, and it was even more special than the first time. Every second is something to cherish. Hosts are lovely, warm and very welcoming. Facilities are outstanding, with communal kitchen and games rooms with had a pool table, air hockey and the means to play table tennis. The pod was warm, comfortable and homely. We cannot wait to stay again. Perfect getaway.

We have just come back from a campervan 2 night trip to Panpwnton Campsite. We had a lovely time, it was very quiet as we were the only ones staying…. Probably due to the weather! This meant we got a great spot right next to the river which was perfect. The facilities were good. The location was great. We did a walk straight from the site on to part of Offa Dykes path and along to the Knuclas viaduct, great views along the way. We had thought we might get the train back just for fun, but they don’t run very often (would have been a 2hr wait) so walked back instead. Site also easy walking distance to the local pub for an evening meal which was good too. Very Dark walk back that evening meant for some great star gazing:-)

Panpwnton Farm is a lovely campsite. Very clean toilets and wash up facilities. I didn't use the showers as I only stayed a couple of nights, however they were spacious. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay. It's a lovely walk from the campsite to Knighton, alongside the river. Trains do pass right along the side of the site but it didn't bother me or my dog. Easy access to Offa's Dyke.
