Situated in rural West Dorset, between Lyme Regis and Bridport, we open our gates for the first time in 2025. With spacious wildflower meadow pitches overlooking the stunning Marshwood Vale, we aim to give guests the space and tranquillity to relax and enjoy this beautiful part of the world. Camping: We offer three tent-only camping pitches. Two are located in our beautiful six-acre wildflower meadow, and the third in a more sheltered field closer to the facilities. Each pitch is generously spaced, offering ample room and privacy for guests to unwind. Every pitch includes a picnic table and fire pit. Glamping: Our fabulous 17-foot Mongolian yurt sits in its own a secluded meadow with its own composting toilet, picnic table, and fire pit. Furnished with a king-sized bed and two optional children’s beds (bedding provided), the yurt offers exclusive access to the field, perfect for a peaceful and private stay. Facilities: The entire camping and glamping site is off-grid. Facilities include composting toilets, a gas-heated shower, and a washing-up area. The nights can be wonderfully dark and star-filled, so don’t forget to bring a torch. Greener Camping Club: As an exclusive Greener Camping Club campsite we require one valid Greener Camping Club member per booking (£12). If you're not already a member, please select this as an Extra when booking. You will receive your annual membership by email, allowing you access to the many other Greener Camping sites across the UK. Worth Noting: To maintain peace and safety for all guests we do not allow cars on site. Pitches are approximately 150m from the parking area, with wheelbarrows to help you transport your things. This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant. Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

Amazing stay with beautiful views. The tent is equipped with everything you need and beds are comfortable. The environment is very calm and pizza night really is a success, not only the pizza's are very nice but you get to know the other people staying - amazing if you have kids as they start playing together. This is a place to feel connected to the land and to completely let go of all the pressures of modern living. Jan is passionate about bio diversity and I loved walking up to the yurt, brushing past lavender and sage and wild flowers full of bees and butterflies, picking an apple on the way - and having it for breakfast whilst looking over a most glorious sunrise view from Buzzard Yurt. Then a walk in the woods and chilling in the hammock reading and soaking up the birdsong and the sound of the buzzard up above. At night - lying on the deck looking up at a starry sky and sitting round the fire toasting marshmallows. A truly relaxing and healing few days. Thank you Jan.

Wow, wow, wow. So we had a fantastic time at Kingfisher Yurt, relaxing under the Oak and Ash trees. Swimming pond was perfect. Yurt was really comfortable and the kitchen was fab for dining and playing games, We hired the hot tub, which was also lovely. Jan was a perfect host. We shall be back.

The yurt was lovely, although on the small side for our family of 5. The shared kitchen was well equipped, and we very much enjoyed meeting all the other campsite guests. There are a few activities on site, which was really enjoyable for the kids: jeu de boules, darts, football golf and a swing. It's a good location to visit Eden Project, Discovery 42 (hands-on science museum in Bodmin), and beaches.

We absolutly would recommend a stay in the Yurt, it had everything we needed for the perfect stay. The location is ideal for a quiet, reflective break in nature. Listening to the owls and nightjars calls from the woods of an evening was a particular highlight. If you need a detox from the hectic world to relax and restore its the perfect space to do so. The salad, steak and cheese hamper was amazing value, and the coffee and pancake stuff provided made us feel so welcome. Thanks Anna, i am sure we will be back again, Hayley, Andy & Greta doggo 🐶

Weekend Trip to Woodland Tipi & Yurt Holidays

We had a wonderful family weekend in Little Owl. The yurt was very comfortable and there was everything we could need nearby in the kitchen and toilet/shower block. We all enjoyed exploring the woods then relaxing in the hammock and roasting marshmallows over a campfire. We had two great day trips, canoeing on the Wye and hiring bikes in the Forest of Dean. Such a beautiful area, would definitely recommend!

David and Jasper went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care off. The campsite is near town, just a 20 minutes walk along the river. The facilities at the campsite are primitive, but adequate and clean. Loved the hot showers! We stayed in a yurt and that was very comfortable and very well equipped. Our kids (and the other kids at the campsite) spent most of the time in and around the tree with a swing, so nice! They called it the best campsite ever! Hope to come back one day!

We loved our stay at Buzzard Yurt! Jan was super friendly and helpful, and the kids loved the trampoline, the pond, the hot tub, feeding the chickens, picking the eggs and just everything the lovely campsite had to offer. It was such a good break from the bustle of city life and we cannot wait to return. The night skies were delightful with a sky full of stars and hardly any light pollution anywhere near us, and our days were filled with adventure and nature at the camp. Jan's campsite is conveniently located to lots of lovely sights - Beer, Seaton, Lyme Regis. A perfect break!

Hay On Wye, famous for its many bookshops and its annual Book Festival attracts visitors worldwide and is 7 miles away. The campsite is on the edge of a village and next door to a great pub. The village boasts a second pub, a restaurant and a well stocked shop and Post Office all within walking distance. There’s a great bus network with regular buses going to all parts of Herefordshire and into Wales with a bus stop by the pub. Each accommodation yurt is solar powered and has its own timber framed and canvas field kitchen, a bathroom cabin with a modern compost loo and its own private deck with a shared shower block centrally located between the four yurts. Pets are welcome and the five acre meadow is securely fenced all around
