Berries Farm Camping is a small eco-friendly family-run campsite, located in the heart of West Dorset Countryside. We are situated at the top of Lyme Regis, on the A3052. Set amongst 5 acres of picturesque farmland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within walking distance to Charmouth, which is part of the World Heritage Coast. With your own spacious camping spot, enjoy the panoramic views of the rolling hills of Lyme Regis. We provide generous grass only pitches for tents and camper-vans. These are unpowered sites. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate for caravans. Nearby attractions include the Jurrasic Coast, quaint market towns and local pubs serving farm fresh food and local seafood. Enjoy River Cottage HQ for a cookery course and get a taste of local cuisine. Also near by is Lyme Regis driving range, golf course and foot-golf. If you fancy exploring Lyme Regis, take the park and ride which is within a short walking distance South of the farm. If walking is more your thing, there is an abundance of local footpaths including the south west coastal path, with Lyme Regis just 1 mile away. Our amenities include flushing toilets and hot water shower blocks. A designated space is avaliable for washing dirty dishes. Be advised that only cold water is provided. BBQ's are permitted; however, they must raised off the ground to prevent damage to the grass. Bricks will be provided for this purpose. Please note that campfires are now allowed at this time. We set up our campsite to be a unique place where guests could be as close to nature as possible, while retaining some of the basic comforts of home. Think wildflower meadow with hot showers! We've gone for ultimate peace and tranquility, with a very limited number of pitches mown into the wildflowers with lots of space between. A very warm welcome to our guests at Little Eden, a restful and relaxing, riverside campsite for tents and campervans with grass pitches. We’re in a great spot if you love fishing, kayaking, gorge walking, cycling, seasides, fossil hunting, wild swimming, fell running, bird watching, archaeology or even Viking history! We are 9 miles from the mystical Glastonbury Abbey and Tor and directly on a Sustrans 33 cycle path route. The River Brue runs alongside the campsite with damsel flies fluttering by and kingfishers darting back and forth. We are on the Somerset levels so the sunsets are amazing as well as night time stargazing. We have a private, wooden jetty where you can launch your own paddle board. It’s a perfect get away for campers and nature lovers. Bring your own raised BBQs and logs or buy firewood on site. A family run campsite around 30 miles south of Bristol on the banks of the River Brue, it has a relaxed vibe and we try to keep things simple and straight forward. It’s ideal for doing some day trips nearby, then lighting the BBQ and playing Frisbee (games box you are most welcome to use). Our big sister site is just 4 miles away, and the café bar at 'Wall Eden Farm' serves fantastic coffee, cake, and family-made Somerset cider. If looking for classic countryside pub meal The Duck at Burtle and The Bird at Westhay are local favourites, be sure to book! We absolutely loved our stay at Villager at Southover Woods. It really felt like we were completely off-grid and tucked away in our own little part of the woods. We were lucky enough to have an incredibly peaceful stay and didn't see another soul the entire time we were there. It may feel a little different when the other pitches are occupied, but for us it felt wonderfully secluded and private. The wildlife was one of the highlights. We saw an owl and could hear the owls calling through the woods at night, as well as seeing bats, a fox and plenty of squirrels. Sitting surrounded by the trees and listening to the sounds of the woods was such a lovely experience. If you're looking to switch off, get back to nature and experience proper woodland camping, this place is a little hidden gem. We came away feeling completely relaxed and would definitely return. 🌲🦉🍄✨️

This is the most beautiful campsite I’ve been too. The views are stunning and it’s really peaceful. It’s very basic which is part of the charm and the owls and bats add to the magic. This was our third year and I’m sure we will go next year too.

A really well kept and thoughtfully set up campsite. Excellent compost loos, lovely ladies managing the site.We stayed in Oak Tree Field. It's a huge space with no nooks and crannies for camping in so doesn't feel very initimate. Everyone staying on the site was super friendly which isn't always the case...it draws a good type of camper who really looks after stuff. The washing up area was always left spotless. Not always hot water in showers as some solar though the electric ones were nice and again very clean. Only negatives were it's location in an emergency.. we had to call the RAC while there and it was really hard to get the location info to them! Also phone signal on EE is non existent...vodafone seesm better. Just for those of you not lucky enough to be able to not answer work/elderly parents calls. Would definitely return!

We had a lovely few days here, despite choosing the wettest weekend of the whole summer. It's a great space with only a few plots spread out over several fields. The facilities were all we needed, clean with hot showers, and most of the time it felt like we were the only people there. Julian was a good host and you should definitely try some of the farm's apple juice, honey or cider... We hope to return when the flowers are in bloom.

Had a great weekend at Bridgewood! We stayed in the cabin which was really good. Great size, all the amenities you would need, really great vibe. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Paul and Sarah were great hosts. Would highly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be back

So much space!! Toilets and showers so clean, shower was always hot and loved the feeling of showering outside (privately)! 😂 Lots of children so my lot were entertained all week. Took a day trip to durdle door / Lulworth cove, well worth it. Walk to the ford and then onto the walled garden and cafe filled a day. Little shop for milk and ice cream is a nice touch. Can also freeze your ice blocks Would highly recommend :-)

We've done a few of these woodlands camp pitches on Hipcamp now and this one is an instant favourite. It's the attention to detail that really shines here. There's fresh eggs and local honey from the site to buy, leaflets and info given at arrival, even a map to walk to the local pub. We were met on arrival and shown round on foot (first time meeting a site owner in 6 trips) - even the loos had little fairy lights in them! Paul & Sarah were super responsive to all queries we had. We stayed in a cute little clearing called Elderwood which was large and sunny with a picnic bench and our own loos (as the other pitch was empty) We was the only people on site so I can't speak to the isolation very much but pitches are spaced enough I don't think you'd be bothered by anyone else. The wood also had fairly good 5G signal - which is by no means a deal breaker but if you work remote, like me, being able to travel up at lunch time and finish my work week amongst nature was a cherry on top. On top of that, it's really reasonably priced. Hard to give this site anything less than a 10 to be honest.
