4 nights at Cwmffrwd Farm Campsite

Oh my goodness. This site was simply magical. We were blessed with beautiful weather, but I’m sure no amount of rain could take away from this beautiful place. Pridie clearly loves and cares for her land. The pitches are large and well laid out, maximising privacy, it was quiet when we were there but I imagine it never feels “busy.” A fire pit is a great addition and the wood bundle was brilliant value for money. The composting loos were fab, the shower facilities basic but clean and hot! Washing facilities were great with eco-friendly washing up liquid provided. Plugs with USB in the Byre (where washing facilities are) for charging your tech (but hardly any signal - bliss.) We missed Pridie’s walk but overheard a bit of one and chatting with her she is clearly extremely knowledgeable about the land she cares for and I would definitely sign up for a walk next time we go. So many beautiful walks on your doorstep, with helpful walks highlighted in the Byre for you to explore, which was really helpful and led to us discovering some stunning walks nearby. This will be one of the very rare sites which we will revisit.

3 nights at Glan Y Mor Camping

Beautiful, peaceful campsite with lovely hosts and great location-walking distance to Pembroke through a pretty woodland. Facilities were immaculate and the shower was hot and powerful. A lovely communal area with a fridge, plug sockets, seating and firepit. We absolutely loved it here!

1 night at Willow Valley Holiday Park

The site was beautifully clean and well set up. Becky was so welcoming and helpful -she understood that my dog can be reactive and made sure we were able to be at a distance from other campers (he liked Becky!) There are plenty of water points, and dog bins. Shower and toilet facilities were very clean. .

Beautiful views and incredibly peaceful setting. Pridie was super welcoming and friendly. I can imagine that if the site was busy then the facilities would be in high demand, there is only one shower and it's in the same room as the only flushing toilet (there are two eco loos in the camping fields) but it was no problem when we stayed.

We absolutely love camping on Pridie and James’ land, it was perfect back to basic camping, compost loo and shower/wash room, plenty of space and outstanding views. We will 100% be returning especially when the sauna is built! This campsite was so peaceful and welcoming! The horse and sheep in the meadows next to your pitch are just incredible! Also worth getting a box or two of wood as the fires in the evening just top the day of perfectly! If you want a lovely refreshing weekend I can’t recommend this site enough! We didn’t want to leave!

Really lovely campsite, perfectly sized & super friendly hosts. A lovely welcome! Very clean facilities & thoughtful provisions for guests to access i.e. kettle / hand soap etc. Pitch was really quiet of an evening & surrounded by woods, though a short walk into town for pub food. Ideal & would absolutely return!

Beautiful location! Would highly recommend! We were a little bit confused on how to get to the site, Chloe was brilliant and sent us through some directions and we found it easily from them. Nice private camping areas with their own firepit and composting toilet. Great for couples or groups of people as there are lots of different pitches offering different unique locations and views. Looking up and seeing the stars above a fire pit, priceless!

3 nights at Gurt Yurts

We absolutely loved our few days at Gurt Yurt and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our boys are aged 9 and 7, and this was a dream trip for them: beautiful views over the countryside, deer, buzzards, Tim’s hens and so much space to run around and play. They loved the tyre swings and hammock too. The beds were super cosy and the yurt is equipped with a wood burner, electric blanket and hot water bottles which kept us warm on the cool April nights. Tim is a lovely host - so accommodating, knowledgeable about the area, and goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a great experience. We will treasure our camp fire memories and the time we spent here. Hope to return again soon.

Weekend Trip to Llandyfan Camping

We stayed as a small family of three in the Cedar Cabin for my birthday and had a great time! The Cabin was cosy, tidy and in a great spot with views down the valley. Andrew helped us settle in and had some recommendations for places to visit. We had the fire pit one night and shamefully we struggled to keep a fire going, so Andrew popped over to help out. With the anglers pond nearby, it was great for bird watching. We will definitely be returning and thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We have stayed at 68 Degrees West a couple of times now. It’s a great campsite. There is plenty of space in the field, so even with other campervans there, it feels like you have privacy and room to enjoy the beautiful views. The shower and toilet block was spotless. Weekend Trip to 68 Degrees West

Location is excellent. The views are stunning despite our stay being on a more overly cloudy/misty day/night. Close to Brecon town centre and easily reached by taxi both ways. Craddock Golf Course nearby was also very welcoming where we watch the 1st half of the rugby before heading into town. We did message a couple of times via Hipcamp about the pitch but didnt get a reply. However, when we arrived we were happy with the pitches available. We just picked our own and set up. Overall we were really pleased and would definitely return.

The space Waunbayvil camping is set in its own secluded spot on 40 acres of private wildland and woodlands in the Pembrokeshire national Park, with a pond and views of the stunning landscape. It is the perfect getaway, a place to re-connect with nature and your loved ones in the most peaceful place away from it all. This is not a big campsite with lots of other people, you can book the whole campsite for a private group, or otherwise, only 2 or 3 families very spread out at a time. The pitches are set out with plenty of space in between. There is parking for cars or campervans, and the camping area itself is not accessible for vehicles, making it a lovely car free space with nothing but nature all around you. You will need to carry tents and equipment up to the camping area., only around 100m from the parking area. (We have a wheel barrow for you to use)We also have a small hard standing area for campervan. There is a compost loo, a washing up area, and an off grid shower shack. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings, teaming with wild life and filled with wild orchids and many different species of grasses and wildflowers. It is unique and a treat for people who love natural habitat. The sea is about two miles away where there are spectacular cliff walks for many miles on the Pembrokeshire coast path, and beautiful beaches for swimming. Bring logs and kindling with you. (Can be bought from any garage) If you bring a cool box we can top you up with frozen ice packs. Just ask. NO LOUD PARTIES Guest access Acres of land and woodland, kitchen shack, compost loo, shower hut, pond. Other things to note 40 acres of meadows, wildlife habitat and woods which guests are welcome to roam. You can walk down the track and visit the artists gallery and shop in the big blue barn. Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you. We moved here after an 18 month search 8 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven. Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements. We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests! We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay. Litter: You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible. Pitches to be left as you found them. Noise: Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning. No loud music is to be played at any time. Children: Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area. Dogs: Must not to be left unattended. Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available). no refunds on bookings if cancelled withing 10days of booking

Trenance 15 minute walk 0r 3 minute drive (walk the country back lane here to Trenance via river gannel for a beautiful nature walk) *Horse riding along the river gannel at Trenance riding stables *Trenance Boating lake, Tea rooms, rose gardens and Boat hire *Trenance Play park for the kids 5 mins walk to esso/budgens for essentials 24 hour 5 Mins car ride to the quant Crantock Village beach, or long walk to the beach.
