We were the only campers for one night on this very quiet and beautiful site. Absolutely silent and completely dark with only the sound of birds and the wind and rain in the trees. Excellent loo, shower and washing up station and very kind and welcoming owner. A healing and restorative experience. Recommended .

brilliant place to stay, very relaxed there but if you need anything they was there. me and my partner stayed here with our 2 daughters and our dog and it was 100% one of the best places we have been to, great veiws, great facilities. all in all will 100% be staying again and maybe try the other cabins.

Me and my wife went for the first time and, as first time campers in South Wales, the experience was lovely.
The our pitch was bigger than we expected, the check in process was painless, the view was incredible and I am missing the silence already.
Oh, and the home made pizza was excellent, even if the wait was longer than expected (through no fault of theirs, there were more people than usual ordering)

The campsite is in a great location. The toilets and showers were excellent and very clean. However would have been nice if they were more central rather than outside the main site. Would still recommend however.

Beautiful views and a lovely SUP/kayak launch site on the river. Perfectly managed spacing between campers which made it feel more private. Slightly more rugged campsite which was exactly what we were looking for. A perfect step away from over commercialised sites.

1 night at Stowford Manor Farm Campsite
This is a lovely place to stay. The railway carriage was very comfortable and very well laid out, packing a lot of functionality into a cozy space. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. It’s just a short drive to several must see places like Bath and Avebury henge.

Beautiful location. Very peaceful campsite with electric and water. Was 4.5 min walk to the toilets but facilities there were good. No campfires but then no late night noise so fair compromise I guess.

Lovely campsite located by the river, quiet and a ‘get away from it all’ feel. Suezi was very welcoming and accommodating. Facilities are clean albeit a bit of a trek from most of the pitches.

We booked a weekend stay with our daughter and it was lovely, very peaceful and calm. She loved feeding the pigs! The hot tub stays hot for a long time once you’ve got it going so worth firing it up nice abs early. The site owners were always around and really helpful too.

What a wonderful site and warm welcome - we smiled from the minute we arrived and for our whole stay! Fantastic river views, sunsets, bats, stars, swimming and lots of space so it felt like our own private site. We will definitely be back!

What an incredible stay at this working farm campsite in North Devon! From the moment we arrived, Nick made us feel completely welcome with her warm, relaxed approach. She strikes the perfect balance - always visible and ready to help with anything you need, while having thoughtfully designed the campsite so that most of your needs are already taken care of without having to ask.
The practical touches really stood out: the double-space fridge was brilliant for longer stays, and the honesty box system for the washer and dryer worked seamlessly. The shower block deserves special mention - spacious enough for whole families, spotlessly clean, and with excellent water pressure and hot water. Perfect for families with children.
What makes this place truly magical is being on a genuine working farm. The animals are integrated naturally into the campsite environment, and there's a wonderful freedom to wander around and observe them respectfully. No overly officious rules - just common sense and respect for the animals and farm life. The views across the Devon countryside are absolutely stunning.
Nick herself was exceptional throughout our stay - her genuine care for guests and attention to detail really shows. We're already planning our return visit!
Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic farm experience with excellent facilities and the warmest of welcomes.

There was a warm welcome with clear explanation of where the facilities were sited. The site is huge with varied types of pitch and accommodation. I was offered a choice of pitches; either high with a view or next to the river. I chose the latter and it was perfect; calm, quiet, well kept.
Overall a fantastic site and lovely people.

Really beautiful place to stay for your camping trip. If you have your own paddleboard or you like wild swimming this place is definitely for you. We been there few times and definitely will come back again

What a view! What a friendly host and what a location!!
Simply can’t fault our stay here. Well organised, great atmosphere, fantastic facilities including washing machines, showers, hair dryers, dish washing area, even a wetsuit wash!
Coffee and pastries available in the morning, perfect start to a day where you can explore the coastline literally from your front door.
We walked round to visit the beaches (2 of which are dog friendly).
Will definitely return here again.
