You will be staying in a brand new, furnished, 5m bell tent, nestled in a private corner at the top of our nature-friendly field just outside Dartmouth. We have a 4 acre field where we currently live in a static caravan in the opposite corner to the tent, while we wait to build our own eco-bungalow. You may see us around at a distance but we'll give you as much privacy as possible.
There is a king size bed with sprung mattress, plus two single futons as chairs which can become beds for extra guests/children. Bedding & towels provided.
Our meadow is a work in progress. The field was intensively ploughed and grazed for many years, but over the last 2 years we have allowed nature to come back across most of it, planted many native and fruit trees, started a small flower farm and created both a veg and soft fruit patch. We are trying to provide as much nature habitat and biodiversity as possible and we have swallows, skylarks and many other birds, and if you're really lucky you may catch a glimpse of our resident hare or see our visiting barn owl.
Parking is at our gate entrance, and it is a 200m walk up a gentle slope to the tent. You'll go through our newly-planted orchard and veg patch and may see our free-ranging bantam hens on your walk. We can provide a trolley for luggage and help you get it to your pitch if you'd like.
An off-grid gas shower with eco-friendly toiletries, and compost toilet are available for your stay. These are a 100m flat walk from the tent. You'll also have shared access to a log cabin with power sockets for charging phones and a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.
You'll have a fire pit and gas camping stove to cook on, and a kit of all the pots/pans and utensils you'd need for a campfire meal. There's an open air washing-up station and we'll provide you with eco-friendly washing up liquid, brushes etc.
We're less than 10 minutes drive to Dartmouth with its range of shops, cafes and restaurants and even closer to the stunning Blackpool Sands beach. The rest of the beautiful South Hams is on the doorstep.
We're committed to making our site as welcoming, inclusive and accessible as we are able and want to share fresh air and nature connection with as many people as possible.

Moorland Holt is a nature-lovers paradise, home to a wide variety of insects and birds, as well as resident tawny owls, and with fallow, roe and red deer, badgers and foxes regularly passing through. Stoats and lizards have also been known to make an appearance.
Our location is secluded and peaceful, and with only 1 unit you get the whole place to yourself. It's ideal for walkers and those who want to be immersed in the wilds of Dartmoor, but is easy to reach from the A38 (Devon Expressway), and is just 10 minutes from the historic stannery town of Ashburton. It's 15 minutes walk to Buckland Beacon with views to the coast, and stunning night skies, and just 10 minutes walk to Ausewell Wood, one of Dartmoor's rare temperate rainforests ( looked after by the Woodland Trust and English Heritage) which includes wild, rugged wood and heath with dramatic rocky outcrops.
As well as nearby Ashburton, with a 12th century inn and award winning restaurants, just 10 minutes in the opposite direction is the moor town of Widecombe, an ideal destination for a morning's walk and pub lunch.
Landmark tors are also within a 10-minute drive, including one of Dartmoor's most popular attractions Haytor, and neighbouring Hound Tor. The River Dart is 20 minutes drive away, the famous medieval clapper bridge less than half an hour and Devon's stunning coast within 40 minutes drive.
Our Moorland Holt lotus belle tent is kitted out with a standard double bed but an extra air mattress could be added for a third person, but please note the site is not suitable for young children. One dog would be welcome but would need to be on a lead or tethered at all times to protect wildlife and livestock as the site is not secure.

I absolutely cannot fault this place! A gorgeous tent, with everything you could ever need. The area is absolutely gorgeous, and so peaceful! We saw some amazing wildlife, and got an incredible view of the eclipse.
The owners are amazing! Friendly, knowledgable about the area and so kind! They have thought of everything so the tent is fully stocked, we had such a relaxing stay, can’t wait to come back!!

Weekend Trip to Belle Camping Cornwall
The bell tent was wonderful and the whole site is well designed and kitted out. The views of the Lizard from the campsite are beautiful and there is easy access to both the coast path and the nearby villages. Michelle and the site guys were friendly and helpful. Belle camping exceeded our expectations. And the Friday night pizza was amazing!

Amazing quiet spot (except for some noisy sheep!), plenty of space per pitch & lovely sea views. excellent shower and toilet facilities a very short walk away. Picnic bench and fire pit and wood provided. The tent itself was amazing - looked brand new, on a raised deck which kept it dry and clean & chairs to sit and watch the sun rise with a cuppa, comfy warm beds, rugs, blankets, hot water bottles all provided. Cute little “kitchen” hut with a gas hob and kettle and pans and crockery and cool box - everything we needed for a short break was thought of and provided. Great communication with the hosts beforehand as well. Would highly recommend and love to return if we’re in the area again.

What an incredibly relaxing, beautiful weekend in Elliott and Emily’s Bell tent and cabin! Cannot thank them enough for their amazing hospitality and attention to detail. Comfy bed, hot shower and brilliant fire pit and equipment for outdoor catering. The location is so peaceful with the wild flower garden, wildlife ( Mrs hedgehog) and starry skies. Just the setting for a retreat from reality. We will definitely be back!!

5 nights at Moorland Holt (Dartmoor)
Nestled in the heart of a gorgeously wild yet maintained plot of land, the bell tent setup was really convenient, it was close enough to the owners to feel safe and able to ask for anything but far enough to feel independent and surrounded by nature.
Inside the tent were soft beds, big pillows, and a carpeted floor, creating a very comforting space. Thoughtful touches like a small bookshelf and lanterns added a personal touch and made it feel totally welcoming. The toilet, although closer to the owners' home, was better than any camping bathroom I've been to. Throughout our entire stay, the gentle rustling of leaves and the distant chirping of crickets made a magical soundtrack, enhancing the overall sense of tranquility.
There are two gorgeous and very different scenic walks that are a very reasonable distance, one being a 360 view of the moors, the other being a circular walk around an ancient woodland. Both are an experience that rejuvenated the soul. My mum and I have been left with a lasting impression of peace and definitely hope to return 🥰

We had the most wonderful stay glamping in the beautiful bell tent! From the moment we arrived, Michelle gave us a fantastic welcome – she was incredibly accommodating and full of helpful local knowledge about the area.
The tent itself was perfect – warm, spotlessly clean, and really well set up. It felt like a cosy home-away-from-home, and we settled in straight away. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning, with the tent fields overlooking the breathtaking Cornish coast – waking up to that view was truly special.
Our dogs loved it too! They settled in quickly and had such a lovely time exploring. The location is ideal – just a short distance from Cadgwith Cove, the Lizard Peninsula, and the iconic Kynance Cove.
One of the great added touches was the on-site catering van, which served up delicious breakfasts and evening meals – super convenient and tasty!
We can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Thank you so much for having us, Michelle – we’ll definitely be back!

This is a beautiful site in a beautiful location but if you’re staying in the bell tent then wrap up! We stayed in August and everything is still damp and wet in there.

She was the perfect host, provided in the tent everything you could want.. lights, games a barbecue too! we'd forgotten our coffee pot.. but not to worry, she provided everything a camp chef would need! The tent came with a toolbox too and she refreshed the ice boxes for us daily too. Lovely beds and setting was perfect..wr watched tje moonrise over the sea just across the field with her tip off, stunning.
Great tips on where to swim etc.. the flushing toilet is a treat too! Car can be parked next to tent for extra convenience.

The bell tents are beautiful and come with everything you need - pots, pans, a kettle, a stove and cool box. Tent looks out over playground and children loved it. Campsite is high up with gorgeous views but can be windy so bring warm clothes! Will return!

Very spacious, quiet, well maintained campsite. The bell tent was very well equipped and the outside kitchen covered with a tarp was very convenient. Everyday frozen cooling elements are provided for the cool box. Great service! Lesley and Tony were super friendly and helpful. The kids had lots of fun playing and could wander on their own around the campsite. Can recommend staying here!

3 nights at Ekopod Glamping Site Cornwall
We had a great time staying in Tylda at Ecopods. An absolute beautiful location right down on the river. The bed was big and very comfortable and the amenities in the barn were great. A great location for a base especially if you have a car but even if you don't St Clether holy well is only about 20 mins walk.
For anyone staying in Tylda just a warning that it's down quite a steep slope so bear that in mind when packing 😊

What a lovely gem of a campsite! We came with quite a few things that we didn't need when we found how well laid out and stocked the campsite is! Ren is a lovely host and was very helpful during our three night stay.
If you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet within walking distance of Perranporth and their gorgeous beaches then stay here!

Weekend Trip to Belle Camping Cornwall
From the first message, Michelle was so accommodating. The directions (including helpful pics) were spot on. On arrival the tent was lovely, clean and well equipped.
The views across the field to the sea were spectacular.
There are ‘proper’ toilets and showers exclusively for the glamping tents.
The food van ‘coastal cravings’ was a lovely touch. I had pizza the 1st night and Mac n cheese (with pulled pork) the 2nd!
Then a full English for breakfast both mornings!
Proper glamping!!
The site is a very short walk from the SW coastal path for the walkers out there. Lizard one way and Cadgwith the other.
Beautiful views which ever way you turn.
Be prepared for hills. They can be steep. Although the pub and lobster rolls at the bottom of the hill to Cadgwith will make it worthwhile!

Loved everything about the glamping at Lundy! Kitchen better equipped than most glamping experiences I've had- cooking oil, oatly milk, cafatiere, bbq and spare phone charger! My sons also did a 2 hour surf lesson and had an amazing experience on the waves! Loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Recommend

The miles-long sandy beach is a boon for families, while its southwest-facing aspect make it a serious swell-catcher for surfers too – in stormy weather the Porthleven harbour walls are a spectacular place to watch the waves. Locally, there are plenty of good Porthleven campsites so, whether you're pitching your tent or parking up a campervan, take your pick and get on down to the south west. Fresh fish on the quay and a healthy serving of Cornish cream teas awaits!
