The site is a unique woodland valley folded around a clear, spring-fed lake created from the old Tregildrans Quarry. Our tipis and tent pitches are dotted about this secret 20 acres full of ferns, bluebells, oak and meadowsweet.
Left in peace for many years there's been no modern chemicals or poisons on the land, meaning we've got bluebells, dormice, Red Admirals and shy woodland Jays for you to spot.
It’s a place set apart from the rush and clutter of the modern holiday experience, with an atmosphere that makes you forget the world outside, and just lounge, ramble, or potter about in a boat.
We're committed to giving you a genuinely individual service from first contact to your time staying with us.
We established CTH in 1996. This was the first and we believe still is the best tipi holiday site in the UK. We know our area inside out and can always help with local knowledge or contacts if you need them.
We want to offer our guests a sustainable holiday. A return to real camping means the lowest possible impact on the land and environment - our tipi poles don’t even break the surface of the earth. Your footprint while here could only be bettered by a survival expert. You don't have to fly! a major bonus, and we source all our wood, fish and canvas locally and work with local people wherever possible.

This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant.
Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge.
Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

From the river gannel if you walk from your garden it will take you to crantock beach and quant village, including the 2 local pubs worth a visit if your into our local history.
Trenance 15 minute walk 0r 3 minute drive (walk the country back lane here to Trenance via river gannel for a beautiful nature walk)

The tent was bigger than I imagined, very sheltered and private. Loved the considerations to the environment, the compost loos, solar panels. Great communication when I enquired about firewood. Easy access to Coverack, great coastal walks and swimming beaches nearby. Would highly recommend.

The bell tent was wonderful and the whole site is well designed and kitted out. The views of the Lizard from the campsite are beautiful and there is easy access to both the coast path and the nearby villages. Michelle and the site guys were friendly and helpful. Belle camping exceeded our expectations. And the Friday night pizza was amazing!

Lovely campsite, the pods look like Tellytubby Land! It's a bit of a walk into Bude probably 40mins but the park and ride is almost opposite the site and very reasonable. We stayed in the Tree House, it was comfy and clean. It has a kettle, microwave, toaster, BBQ and fridge which is so convenient. Would recommend taking your usual cooking kit as there are plates, mugs, bowls and glasses but not pots and pans or stove. I might also take a picnic table if you like to sit in the sun as the seating area is shady. No curtains means you need a sleep mask if you like a dark room but I loved waking up to the sight of a blue sky. Would also recommend a torch for going up and down the steps at night.

We had the most wonderful stay glamping in the beautiful bell tent! From the moment we arrived, Michelle gave us a fantastic welcome – she was incredibly accommodating and full of helpful local knowledge about the area.
The tent itself was perfect – warm, spotlessly clean, and really well set up. It felt like a cosy home-away-from-home, and we settled in straight away. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning, with the tent fields overlooking the breathtaking Cornish coast – waking up to that view was truly special.
Our dogs loved it too! They settled in quickly and had such a lovely time exploring. The location is ideal – just a short distance from Cadgwith Cove, the Lizard Peninsula, and the iconic Kynance Cove.
One of the great added touches was the on-site catering van, which served up delicious breakfasts and evening meals – super convenient and tasty!
We can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Thank you so much for having us, Michelle – we’ll definitely be back!

Michelle's beautiful bell tent is well named. She was the perfect host, provided in the tent everything you could want.. lights, games a barbecue too! we'd forgotten our coffee pot.. but not to worry, she provided everything a camp chef would need! The tent came with a toolbox too and she refreshed the ice boxes for us daily too. Lovely beds and setting was perfect..wr watched tje moonrise over the sea just across the field with her tip off, stunning.
Great tips on where to swim etc.. the flushing toilet is a treat too! Car can be parked next to tent for extra convenience.
Good vibes and comfort too!

I travelled with two older grandsons. We were delighted with the space and facilities. I’m from that area but had no idea that this Secret Garden was there!
A pullout bed made sleeping for 3 adults possible. Nice little shower room and cooking equipment good. Outside seating area and hot tub were wonderful. We made fires each night and sat out late with hot chocolate to see the stars.
Fun swing (log on a rope) was enjoyed by all of us. The boys were surprised and delighted as was I
Sheryl communicated by message and was so helpful. The fresh eggs (option) were delicious.

Everyday frozen cooling elements are provided for the cool box. Great service! Lesley and Tony were super friendly and helpful. The kids had lots of fun playing and could wander on their own around the campsite. Can recommend staying here!

We had a lovely stay in the school bus! It was surprisingly roomy and very well equipped. Hosts were very welcoming on arrival and always about should we have needed help during our stay. Weekend Trip to Belle Camping Cornwall
From the first message, Michelle was so accommodating. The directions (including helpful pics) were spot on. On arrival the tent was lovely, clean and well equipped.
The views across the field to the sea were spectacular.
There are ‘proper’ toilets and showers exclusively for the glamping tents.
The food van ‘coastal cravings’ was a lovely touch. I had pizza the 1st night and Mac n cheese (with pulled pork) the 2nd!
Then a full English for breakfast both mornings!

The site is a very short walk from the SW coastal path for the walkers out there. Lizard one way and Cadgwith the other.
Beautiful views which ever way you turn.
Be prepared for hills. They can be steep. Although the pub and lobster rolls at the bottom of the hill to Cadgwith will make it worthwhile!

3 nights at Belle Camping Cornwall
Beautiful belle tents in an even more beautiful setting.
If you are looking to explore south Cornwall then you would do well to stay here. Fantastic hosts who not only provide outstanding camping & glamping services but also operate an amazing food truck onsite too. Waking up to a beautiful scene with a bacon sandwich & great coffee made my stay!

We had a lovely stay at the Chalet. Hot tub was lovely and warm with music hook up. The chalet was really cosy and nice hot shower. The garden was lovely and my son enjoyed the rope swing, playing with the cat and building a fire. Hope to come again! Crantock beach with free parking for National Trust members is nearby.

Michelle is an incredibly helpful woman with an amazing campsite? We stayed in one of the belle tents and would absolutely come again! It’s right on the coastal path and a beautiful short walk to the closest village. The catering van is open breakfast, lunch and dinner which is super convenient and the amenities are cleaned daily.

Weekend Trip to The Secret Garden
Thanks Sheryl for a beautiful weekend, we had the most special 21st celebrations! The site is great really spacious and the utilities are ideal, meant we could cater for 11 of us. Has everything you’d want with the fire pit and hot tub! Sheryl was great as well, super welcoming and helpful, sorted out any issues we had immediately. Location is sweet too, we walked and bussed into town both were easy. And nice ducks!

It was a brilliant weekend in Bluebird - the comfy, spacious American bus. We loved every minute! The campsite is really well set up and peaceful, I'd highly recommend both the site and the bus.
