Foxglove Field (adults only)

Glamping is easy in Foxglove Field, a private, adults-only boutique glampsite where the facilities are as pristine as the views. Three furnished bell tents are pitched in a rural hideaway set on the southern tip of Cornwall, where the gorgeous waterfront town of Marazion is a 20-minute walk away and the port of Penzance is also within reach. As the name suggests, this is also a place that takes pride in its wildflowers. Foxgloves, bellflowers and daisies envelop your pitch, all an intentional part of the host's environmental efforts to bring more biodiversity to the farm.

As well as your tent's freestanding bed and seating for that morning cup of coffee, you'll also have access to flushing toilets, a hot shower, and a robust field kitchen, complete with environmentally-friendly washing-up products and toiletries. You'll also be able to enjoy the on-site vegetable garden, and spot the hares, butterflies and other wildlife that the increased biodiversity encourages.

Nearby, Marazion's a quaint little town of old cottages and charming pubs, with its long sandy beach looking out onto St. Michael's Mount. This unique tidal island is a must-visit, walking out along the dramatic cobbled causeway at low tide, all the way to the domineering castle that sits atop its steep hill. The glampsite is also located along the 230km West Kernow Way cycling route, so it naturally makes for an ideal stopping point for cyclists as they explore the region.
