The main pod consists of a double bedroom, small lounge, kitchenette and shower room. The kitchenette has a microwave, portable stove top, toaster, kettle and fridge so guests can still cook up a meal if staying in. Wi-Fi is available in the main pod and included during your stay, plus access to a washing machine, ironing board and iron through a private entrance into the downstairs cloakroom of the farmhouse. The second bedroom - the twin - is located in a separate pod, located approx 15 meters away and separated by a path through the trees. It's the perfect solution for children wanting to escape the parents and feel like they're having their own adventure (or is that parents wanting to escape from the kids!) Please note, as the second bedroom pod is a short walk from the main pod, parents should be confident that their children (and they!) will be happy to sleep separately and will enjoy the seclusion of an independent sleeping area. During the winter months, we have converted the outdoor porch of the main pod into an upgraded, insulated dining area equipped with a table and chairs, comfortably accommodating four guests. This addition provides a weatherproof social space, complete with a fully glazed external door to allow you to fully enjoy the surrounding views. Updated photos arriving in Spring 2024. Weekend Trip to Cholderton Estate, near Stonehenge

We had a really lovely stay in the Bustard Hut. It was peaceful, quaint, and beautifully designed. The interior was unique and thoughtfully put together, and the hut had great facilities considering its limited kitchen space. The little touches like the marshmallows, bread, and condiments were very much appreciated. The only downsides were that the hut wasn’t quite as private as it appeared in the pictures, as we could see and be seen by the neighbouring hut from the hot tub, which wasn’t quite what we imagined. Also, there weren’t any trolleys available on arrival, so there was a lot of back and forth with bags since you can’t park next to the hut. A few things that would be useful to have are some barbecue tools and maybe a fire mitt, as we had to use kitchen utensils to manage the fire. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the thoughtful touches throughout.

Weekend Trip to Hideaway Hut, Camping cabin.

This was a super last-minute booking, despite knowing that it was going to be pretty wet all weekend. Despite the rain, this was a magical place and my son and I had a special time together. The rain maybe made it even more special. Anna is lovely and very helpful and their dog spent quite a lot of time with us because he realised we would continue to throw a stick for it until we went to sleep. Which was bliss!

This is a lovely place to stay. The railway carriage was very comfortable and very well laid out, packing a lot of functionality into a cozy space. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. It’s just a short drive to several must see places like Bath and Avebury henge.

3 nights at The Secret Garden

I travelled with two older grandsons. We were delighted with the space and facilities. I’m from that area but had no idea that this Secret Garden was there! A pullout bed made sleeping for 3 adults possible. Nice little shower room and cooking equipment good. Outside seating area and hot tub were wonderful. We made fires each night and sat out late with hot chocolate to see the stars. Fun swing (log on a rope) was enjoyed by all of us. The boys were surprised and delighted as was I Sheryl communicated by message and was so helpful. The fresh eggs (option) were delicious. Hope to return again.

Accommodation is actually very spacious. 4 fit easily in each room. Highly recommended. We had a fabulous weekend, I could’ve stayed longer.

We had a lovely stay at the Chalet. Hot tub was lovely and warm with music hook up. The chalet was really cosy and nice hot shower. The garden was lovely and my son enjoyed the rope swing, playing with the cat and building a fire. Hope to come again! Crantock beach with free parking for National Trust members is nearby.

We had the best weekend in the gypsy caravan. The area was really pretty and felt very private and we had so much space to ourselves. The caravan itself was well equipped and the bed was really comfy. The separate bath caravan was also lovely.

Weekend Trip to The Secret Garden

Thanks Sheryl for a beautiful weekend, we had the most special 21st celebrations! The site is great really spacious and the utilities are ideal, meant we could cater for 11 of us. Has everything you’d want with the fire pit and hot tub! Sheryl was great as well, super welcoming and helpful, sorted out any issues we had immediately. Location is sweet too, we walked and bussed into town both were easy. And nice ducks!

We came for a family birthday getaway at the end of Feb. The hut is private but there is a two person hut reasonably nearby. The Shephards hut has everything you need outside and in, regardless of weather. We had moments eating out in the sun, then a brief hail shower and rainbow in the hot tub. One night was so clear we spent the evening star gazing from the hot tub. There is a farm and wild bird sanctuary nearby so an abundance of wild life throughout the day. Kites, peacocks, buzzards, peasants, deer etc. We did several local walks but the best for the kids was the farm > wood walk, which had a hidden wood swing too. The hosts were quick to help when we needed it and the location was very picturesque. It was a perfect birthday escape. We'd love to come back and see it in the summer!
